Darkedge's "safe for work" One-shots

My name is Joseph, i found myself stripped of my humanity one sunny day when i fell face first out of the top story window of my house. as soon as i hit the ground a flash of light brought me to this place, filled with magical creatures and wonderment aplenty, this world known as Equestria.  Going out every day to a world that seemed too perfect for anyone to comprehend. I was handed everything, all i could ever want in life was given too me after only thinking about it. its been like this for 3 years since i travelled to this place unexpectedly, a world with sentient animals that could speak and laugh, any other person would relish in such a place. After at least a year of becoming aware of my place in this world i have grown tired of it this world is too perfect and it seems as though my thoughts are the key to this whole predicament. one inparticular character i met was a blue mare with a yellow mane known as Sunshine dreams, but i call her Sunny for short. Sunny let me stay at her place till i could get my head straight and after a year and a half she doesn’t wanna get rid of me, it has gotten to the point that people would spread rumors about us, but it didnt bother us one bit. Life with Sunny was great everyone was happy, i was happy, until that night. for the first time since i got here it rained, i always disliked the rain, i felt it was a bad omen and a bringer of sorrow meant to perterb and cause disorder. honestly i cant blame anyone but myself the past week or to before the incident i became weary and somewhat bored of my situation, asif there was a lack of excitement in this life i was given. suddenly a monster born from my own confusion stepped forth and instantly flew away into the clouds, i knew that this was my time. i was to flee the city and find a home where noone would find me. I ran for the everfree, a forest known for its harsh enviroments i ran as deep as i could gathering supplies as i went, learning ho to survive amongst the wildlife i built myself a shack within a week and was living by a routine since then. the now bright pink clouds  rained week apon week the sun only shining to give the other ponies some kind of hope for a normal life, that is when i saw it sunny the one i cared for the most was still there, if my mind created such a monster then my mind can surely create some kind of paralel. I thought as hard as i could and with the sun as my inspiration a bright yellow light flashed before me, but before the light left my eyes the shape of two beings appeared before me. “What is your wish of us” i heard from the taller figure, i thought of sunny and all the ponies back home being hurt and my regret for leaving them and in an instant the figures flew off lights shone from the earth, air and the wildlife in the area and tool the shape of orbs and followed the two as they departed. all that was left behind was a seed which i quickly took towards my hut, and i was shocked to see a rock slide had taken my house and destroyed it, all that was left was a cave with a small patch of dirt in the middle of it. Suddenly the seed started glowing and shot out of my hand and into the dirt, growing into a crystaline tree and melding the rocks turning them into a more natural cave. a light shone from behind the tree. i walked behind it and suddenly saw a flash of light the two figures had done what i asked but at a price, they had forgotten me and saved everyone else but at the cost of me, i was slowly turning to stone, all i could do before i was fully taken by the petrification was etch on the cave walls “i miss you sunny”. Thats all i could remember, after i was turned to stone everything went black.
