Celestia and Discord's Play Day!!!

Philomena's POV

I shook my head exhausted, woken up by a sneeky chuckle of a close friend of Celestia's. I simply smiled at his tricks and waited for Discord to make a move. As he crept quietly to the side of her bed, I watched intently as his top half glided over her, smirking, watching her sleep. I smiled once more as I was about to troll Discord just as hard as I did Fluttershy...I'm not even sure if he was aware I was awake...Or if I even existed! But just a moment before Discord seemed to be ready to launch his fingertips at my dear owner, I squawked as loudly as I possibly could! Discord, startled, swooped back down to the side of the bed, so that Celestia could not spot him as he glared at me. Celestia tugged her pillow over her head and mumbled to herself, she was not startled, but just upset that I woke her up I suppose...But she'd be glad when she figured out why!

"ThanksPhilomena. Thanks." She grumbled as she got up to look at her clock. I squawked a "you're welcome!". Her eyes widened as she saw the time. "5 o'clock!?!?! Philomena, why didn't you alert me!?!?" I cocked my head, confused as she rushed to her balcony. Discord muffled a chuckle into his paw and talon. Presumably because she hadn't noticed him...And probably also because he noticed Celestia wasn't wearing anything...Yeah. He was that immature!

Celestia quickly got in her stance and soon, the sun was rising slowly upon the horizon! She let out a sigh of relief, realizing that it wasn't ridiculously late for her to rise the summer sun. It was just that she liked to get ready and have her breakfast so that during the day she would get a head start on her royal duties...But now she had to do all of those thing only two hours before everypony else...Well...Almost everypony...

Story's POV

"Mornin' Super Nova!" Celestia turned to the voice that cried out behind her, already knowing that it was Discord. She shook her head in self realization.

"So that's why you woke me up, is it Philomena?" Celestia asked Philomena knowingly. The Phoenix smirked proudly as Celestia chuckled at her loyal pet's behavior. Celestia then turned back to Discord. "What is it that you're here for Discord?" Celestia asked politely. Discord chuckled as he skipped over from behind her bed.

"Well, Super Nova! I really like hanging around with you and I thought it'd be nice if we were to spend some..."quality time together"...You know! To get to know each other!" Discord replied. Not sounding even a tad convincing at all. But Celestia just chuckled at the draconequi's words as she she shook her head fondly and sighed.

"Well, Dissy...I think what you meant to say was that you really like teasing me!" She giggled with a pure smile. "And I know you well enough!" Discord smiled at Celestia's fondness. "Now what was it that you really wanted?"

"I....Can't put it any other way....I just really would like to spend more time with you, Super Nova!" Celestia shook her head at her new apparent nickname and frowned sorofully.

"I'm sorry Discord..." Celestia began. Discord hated this. He hated the fact that there was always something everypony was relying on her to do! It wasn't fair! Everypony deserved to spend time with Discord! "I-"

"Have a lot of royal duties to attend to. I know." He sulked. Celestia felt bad...Even though she knew that what she needed to do, she needed to do, she never could avoid the feeling that Discord was just slightly more important to her...For some reason.
