After centuries of watching and waiting, a pony forgotten by time and Equestria has begun his revenge. After a strange energy reading, Princess Celestia sends a letter to Princess Twilight Sparkle to find two ponies to investigate the phenomenon. Ocean Stardust, head scientist for Princess Luna was chosen to investigate, accompanied by the outspoken night guard Lt. Crescent-Blade Nocturnis. They are given only two instructions from the Princesses, investigate the phenomenon and to recruit anypony who can help them.
