The Slumber Surprise

Rainbow Dash’s Story (20:50)

“Ok Twilight, see you shortly.”

Twilight closed the door and went on her way to the shops.

“Now that Twilight is gone we can have some real fun!" Applejack exclaimed.

“I don’t think that would be a good idea, Applejack.” Rainbow Dash started reasoning with Applejack.

“Hey Rainbow, why not? I thought you enjoyed having a party.” Applejack answered.

“Well, I guess I do, but Twilight said she should be back in about 5 minutes.” Rainbow Dash had almost managed to convince Applejack to not have a party, but, alas, she was unsuccessful. “I know Applejack, why don't we give her a surprise instead, that will make her happy.”

“Rainbow, that is a bad idea, she might get scared by it and then the party will be over.” Replied Applejack.

“Look, don’t worry about it Rainbow, I will take the blame if she does not like it.” Applejack replied.

“Well I say giving Twilight a surprise will be a fantastic idea, she could love it and she could thank us for it, you never know it could make her day.” Pinkie Pie asserted.

“Well, maybe we could give her a loud surprise, Pinkie have you got any party poppers?.”

“Let me have a look Applejack, last time I checked I’m sure I did.” Pinkie rummaged around in her mane for some party poppers. Her hoof re-emerged, and she was holding some party poppers.

“Applejack, this is a bad idea, she might hate it. If I were you I would stop right there and put them back in your mane.” Rainbow Dash bellowed.

“Chill Rainbow, do not worry, Applejack and I have a fantastic idea, why don't we empty the all the powder into this party popper, then when she opens the door it can go on and bang a big explosion right in her face.” Pinkie suggested.

“You’re right Pinkie, that’s a fantastic idea, she won't know what hit her.” Pinkie Pie and Applejack laughed until they were interrupted.

“Girls! Please don’t, you don't know what could happen.” Rainbow Dash said looking at Pinkie and Applejack.

“Rainbow, at least be some kind of help, could you fly up to the door and tie this up so when she opens it, bang.” Applejack said.

“Fine, but don't mention my name when she asks who did this.” Rainbow Dash flew up to the door and started tying the party popper to the top of the doorframe. She flew back down just as she heard Pinkie Pie shouting at her.

“Rainbow! Take it down!” Roared Pinkie Pie.

Before they knew it, the tree had blown up.
