The story takes place in heavily modified, quite a bit more dark Eqeustria, where monsters roam the land freely, political intrigues live their live as ponies do and danger can be awaiting you at any road.
It's a story of group of friends, roaming the land in seek of fortune, knowledge and sometimes revenge.
But as always, lesser evil connects to a bigger one in the end, the world can be not quite the same and it is to the ponies of this group to find out how bad it will be.
