Return of Harmony

Hi Guys, I’m Goku

As time went on, Celestia found that getting her mind off of what had happened… became easier. She new that her sister would be returning sometime soon, but she had a plan for when she did. As a ruler, it was her job to monitor her subjects. But there were several in particular that had different energy readings. 5, to be exact. And there was another one that she had had her eye on for a while now. She new that they would be able to do what she alone could not. And she only hoped that he would come back with her. It was 4 years until the date she had written the prophecy. 1000 years from the day that Goku had saved the world.

Twilight was very nervous. Never before had she had to do something like this! She had to perform her magic, in front of judges HAND PICKED BY PRINCESS CELESTIA. Her parents said that it wold be fine. She was, after all, a sparkle! Only one of the most renowned magical families in Canterlot! But, she just shoved those thoughts away. She needed to get ready! The exam was in 1 hour, which means that she only had half that time to get ready.

1 hour later…

She walked in the room with a happy, cool, and not nervous façade that really did not fit the situation. ‘Oh no, whats that?’ she asked her self nervously, noticing a cart in the centre of the room, with a large purple egg. In hindsight, it kinda matched her own colour scheme, with a light lavender colour and darker spots to highlight it. But all thoughts like that had left her as she walked up to the egg. Her palms were sweating as she slowly approached it, almost falling off balanced because of the ‘fancy dress shoes’ she had to wear. She looked over, and her parents flashed an obviously fake smile, as to try to reassure her. She tried, tried, and tried again to make the egg do anything, when suddenly an explosion boomed throughout the building, causing her eyes to glow from natural instinct, and her magic flowed out from a seemingly endless source, as if reaching deep into a well of power that had yet to be tapped. The judges were suspended in midair, and had they been able to talk, they would have been able to find their minds had switched bodies for the time being. Her parents turned into plants, and her magic (after freeing the dragon) began to act as nourishment for the young drake, making him grown to the point of breaking the ceiling of the exam room. Celestia noticed this, and quickly teleported into the room. She looked at twilight, and she saw the true power of one composed of magic. ‘the descendant of Starswirl and Sparkle, both very powerful and both very temperamental’ were Celestia’s thoughts, as she went to the still twitching twilight.

Twilight couldn't control herself, as she saw the result of what sounded like a cannon going off. She looked around with a viewpoint of near-omniscience. It scared her. Just when she thought that she was damned to be kept here for all of eternity, she saw her. Celestia’s touch brought her crashing back into the body that she knew. She looked around, but with a new set of eyes, as it were. Then, she was offered to be Celestia’s own student, and with vigorous nodding from her parents, agreed. The next few years of her life seemed to be the first in a milennia for princess Celestia; everything prior to this and after the… event, all went by in a blur. Now, she had someone who she could endure with, and could help teach, and learn some herself. She noticed her students academic inclination, and how she seemed to think that the only way to be a good student was by becoming a recluse and only studying. She let it go, thinking it was the initial shock of getting taught by a deity of the land, but no, that was her natural go-to thing to do. No hobbies, other than reading. No pass times, other than writing. And, only toy was a doll in which she pretended to be doing the a fore said activities. It still messed with her sanity, even after knowing about it for a year. So, after finishing up a lesson about teleportation, she gave her student a break. She even personally contacted moondancer’s parents about inviting twilight to her party. They were enthused, but 2 days later she got a letter saying that she didn't go.

A letter had arrived for her, mere minuted later, telling her about the prediction of nightmare moons return, and Celestia was stunned. Not only was she very inquisitive, but she seemed to be able to put pieces together of a puzzle that had yet to be finished. It was incredible. However, no one needs to be told they’re incredible, so she simply told her to stop studying all the time. Not only would that ensure that she reads all about it (because as we all know, banning something ensures that everyone knows about it), but also means that she will have direct contact with the elements. She had already arranged that she meet with all of them other than pinkie (discords vessel, but the don’t know that yet), but she did always seem to be in the right place at the right time. So that meant that after she was taken, they would all meet and go through tasks to prove their elements’ worth. And, maybe even get to meet her old friend…

“Oh nonononono, this is bad!” twilight practically shouted. Spike said,

“This is still only an old story, probably just to try and scare people.” Spike said in reassurance. “besides, we’ll be in a library, isn't that good for something at least?” Twilight seemed to beam at that.

“yes, it does, and ill tell you why! Its because I’m right, and i'm gonna prove it!” she said smiling rather out of character. Spike took a nervous step back and said,

“Well, lets go check out how to ponies of Ponyville are doing.” He said, trying to stay away from whatever it was twilight caught, as to keep his sanity. They came upon a pink one, who gasped, and seemed to speed away faster than the eye could follow. Both equally confused, they continued down the road to “Applejack’s Farm” to see how the food was coming along. From there. They went to check up on the choir, and everything else. Celestia was merely onlooking, and preparing herself for the inevitable that only she and her student knew about.

After both an exhausting and disappointing day, twilight headed back home to the library, so she could get some sleep. She walked in, and after finding the lights, was surprised to find a large group of ponies greeting her.

“Surprise!!”

They all seemed to cry in unison, but the voice of a certain flamboyant pink pony seemed to overpower all other sound/though process. Until that point, Twilight thought that nothing could go faster than light, but as the pink one began talking, she found that was false (sorry Einstein). She tried to ignore it, yet pretended not to, and ended up confusing herself so much that she poured hot sauce into her drink, and consequently made fire come out of all her facial orifices, while she ran away, holding back tears of pain. Shaking away all conscious thoughts, she went to bed. She lay upon it for ~2.5 hours, before spike burst into her door, knocking her out of her trance.

“Twilight, its time to go see Celestia bring out the sun!” he practically screamed at her. The made their way into the town hall, and everyone else was gathered there as well.

In apprehension, twilight began to sweat; as the mayor was talking, the stars were conspicuously travelling towards the moon. As the reached it, the picture of a horses head was taken off the moon, followed by a strange luminescence.

“-and without any further ado, I welcome Princess, Celestia!” the birds Fluttershy had arranged for this moment began to sing, as rarity pulled back the curtains with her magic. Nothing was there. Twilight had officially started to panic. Under other circumstances, she would have shouted “I TOLD YOU SO,” but seeing that this was neither the time nor place, she decided against it.

“She’s gone!” rarity exclaimed, followed by nervous whispers. ‘No shit Sherlock’ was all twilight though to herself, as an eerie blue mist entered where Celestia should have been. It materialized into a female figure, though heavily armoured and a bluish aura.

“Hello, my royal subjects, its been too long.” She said those last words laced with anger and almost resentment, though no one seemed to notice.

“Don’t you all know who I am, or is my presence insignificant to mortals as yourselves?” she asked, almost laughing at the hatred filled faces of all onlookers, other than 2. One, was pink-haired, and didn’t seem to hold any significance. One, had a face of concentration, who seemed unsurprised when she appeared. ‘Hmm, she might be a problem,’ she thought. Before she could think any further, the mare in question said,

“I know who you are. You’re the mare in the moon, nightmare moon.” Se said, Seeming to gloat silently to herself about her apparent knowledge. It was short-lived, as she seemed to remember something else.

“Oh, then you must know why I’m here, then?” her answer came a little shakily, lacking the confidence of her previous statement. “You’re here, t-to bring about nighttime, forever.” She choked out the last part. This one was smarter than the others. As Nightmare made her leave, she did so, only to come back. In the commotion, there were 6 who didn't act as the rest did. The purple one ran back to the library, and was followed closely by the other 5. They arrived there, and she instantly began looking for the elements of harmony. Right when they started, a familiar figure walked through the door.

“Hi guys, I’m Goku!”
