//-------------------------------------------------------// A Saiyan's Journey -by Faffs- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival Prologue As we all know, saiyans are a bloodthirsty, battle-driven race that accounts for more death than any other race (that we know of) ever. So, it is not surprising that when another “low level” saiyan warrior is born, that they intend to send it to a new… interesting planet. They had seen it in holographs before, but as of yet, no one had seen it in person. It was lush, had plenty of wildlife, and would probably fetch a fairly large pay from their intelligent allies. So, without further ado, they send Kakarot to the wonderful land of: Equestria. (3 Days before the arrival of the newborn saiyan) Celestia gasped, as she awoke from her slumber. Before she could ask, her beloved sister had made the hallway-long trek to find her troubled sibling. She burst into the room, inquiring as to what was wrong. “Sister, what is it that troubles thee so?” she asked, a mixture of curiosity and fear in her equine face. She was standing at ~5 ½ feet tall; a mountain in comparison to her loyal subjects, and her elongated-pony face had a rather distraught expression. The answer didn’t help much either. "I felt a disturbing presence making its’ way to our home.” She said, worry seeming to overwhelm her usual happy, carefree demeanor. Being the co-ruler of equestria, and being an immortal deity of the sun, she had lived a while, and seen a lot. Though, this took the cake (which she as not pleased to find was taken from her pantry), and did not want her little ponies to suffer from this unknown threat. Her sister had seen her like this before, but that was not since… that day, so long ago. For something else to make her feel like this was unherd (horse puns) of, and caused her an equal amount of distress. Everyone was excited for the Celebration. Starswirl (the not yet bearded), discord (the not yet corrupt) and all her little ponies (I think all you readers just cringed for the 3rd time) were there, to celebrate the magnificent and not overrated daytime. Just as soon as Celestia began her magical raising of the sun, it happened. Someone shouted,  “Meteor!” and the panic ensuing was astronomical (more jokes). Everyone was running in different directions and the 4 most powerful there (other than discord, who was looking upon the panic with interest, and would later find that this was the beginning of what would be an interesting reign) were eyeing the ‘meteor’ with curiosity, when the booming voice of princess Luna was heard over the chaos, “MY SUBJECTS, LET US SETTLE DOWN, THERE IS NO REASON FOR THINE TERROR!” she said, using the customary so-called ‘royal canterlot voice’ to try and settle them, and was distraught to find that it did nothing of the sort. So, stepping up, Starswirl cast a simple spell, to stop the oncoming ‘meteor’, but found that its velocity was greater than his magic could stop. Quickly thinking, discord summoned up an over sized cushion, to which the now classified spaceship crashed, sending dust and feathers from the cushion everywhere. When the spaceship opened, there was an audible gasp from all that spectated, as what appeared to be an ape with an odd hairstyle crawled out. “I thank thee, discord, for aiding us in our time of distress,” said Celestia, while turning her attention to the spaceship once more. The baby appeared to have no fur, but had a rather wild looking mane sticking out of its head, and a brown, furry tail from its bottom. Celestia, who at first glance could only be described as nervous, then took a more caring demeanor, and slowly trotted to the newly found ‘adversary’ and looked upon it with motherly eyes, only to be met with a snarl from the small child. She was rather confused as to why the child was showing such malicious intent, but decided that it was worry for another time and place, and quickly picked up the small child with her magic, and brought him over to the others, who couldn't help but feel their hearts warm as they witnessed none other than their god-princess take in a baby. This moment was almost ruined by the constant angry squirming, and scowl the alien baby had on its face, but the novelty was still there. It was unheard of for her to take in a protege, and was met with both cries of delight from some, and utter silence from others. She smiled back at it, and said with a smile, “I’ll name you, Goku.” Years later, at the royal palace, Goku was having his 12th birthday celebrated. By this time, every pony had grown accustomed to seeing this little kid; though only because of his mischief. But, he always made up for it in both his kindness, and his determination. He had grown strong from sparring with the royal guard, and had even surprised them by shooting off what could only be described by magic, when he had been pinned yet again by the head guard. “Sorry kid, looks like I gotcha again,” he said, with a small chuckle, only to be cut off with a grunt of effort from the sheer strength of the little boy beneath him. ‘he’s gonna grow up to be strong’ was his last thought, before he felt himself lose grip, and flung against the wall by sheer strength. He looked up, to see him glowing a soft blue, and his brows furrowed in concentration. As if by some far off, distant memory, the thoughts came to him; he somehow knew what to do without being trained to even do it. “Ka…me, HA…ME… HAAAAAAAA!” he screamed with pre-pubescent rage, that seemed to have boiled and come forth, creating a blue blast that was sent directly at the guard. Instead of dodging, he decided to test it’s strength, and put up a shield, gritting his teeth in concentration. He was pushed back by the sheer power behind the blast, and his eyes widened when he noticed that the blast was eating away at his magical barrier. Due to his status as lead guard (nopony had been skilled enough to take the lead role of Captain... yet) he was fabled to have immense magical power, and control. So, when Goku found himself on his back, with no time or explanation for how it happened, he was confused. His  confusion came second, and he found himself coughing and wheezing from the force he hit the ground with. He flipped over to his back, through sheer willpower alone, and looked to his powerful pony assailant. "Wow," he said, still panting. "You sure are strong." The old stallion chuckled, taking up a more relaxed stance. "You shouldn't have let your guard down." He was given no time, and before he could even look up, an energy ball was sent flying at his face. Due to years of training and field experience, something a scarce few guards could brag, he dodged with lightning fast reflexes. While he was jumping back from the blast, he noticed a shadow overhead. His eyes widened, and he jumped up. It was too late, and he was greeted by a fist into his back, knocking him to the ground. He stood up, and quickly dodged the follow up attack, but Goku was relentless. Kicks, punches, and the rare energy ball here and there, In fact, he might have even gained the advantage. However, it was obvious the fight was nearing a close; both fighters were at their last leg. Goku put an enourmous amount of power into his last blast. The ever famous Kamehameha wave was the finisher. "Kame..." the head guard looked up, cursed under his breath, and prepared a shield spell limited to him alone. The power it took wasn't special, it was the nature of the shield. All damage done to it was merely taken from his mana reserves in proportion the the power of the attack. This was suicidal to most guards, who would die from magical exhaustion just trying to protect themselves. But he was the head guard. "Hame..." Goku said, pulling his arms back, a small sphere of energy visible between. Cursing his lack of time, the head of the guard put up his signature shield. "HAAAAA!" Screamed Goku, as the last of his power was expelled towards the head guard, whose translucent purple shield had completely covered him. Another reason that the head guard could use this shield. Most ponies, know their limits. Mana reserves, how full they are. The head guard, however, took it to a new level. He knew exactly how much mana he had at all times, and could allocate it accordingly. So when he felt ~60% of his mana reserves leave the moment the wave collided with his shield, three things happened: 1: He allocated all the magic he could spare in powering the shield. 2: He jumped out of the way, using his remaining mana to boost him to safety. 3: He passed out shortly after. Goku was still focusing his power into the blast, noticing none of these things. Then, the shield exploded, sending an enourmous energy wave out that knocked Goku back several feet. Laying eagle-spread on the ground, he found that he had exhusted himself past the point of movement. He then heard a slow steady clapping from his left. Mustering up his will power, he found none other than Celestia, standing there. "I must say, well done Goku!" She said, laughing. "I don't think that Sparkle has had a fight like that in years!" Goku smiled tiredly, before falling asleep on the ground. Celestia walked over and, using her telekinesis, picked up both Sparkle, and Goku, before walking to the hospital. Despite the intense fight, hardly any wounds were visible on either. 'Somewhere between an epic battle, and a friendly spar.' Celestia mused to herself. 'Though, mostly the latter.' //-------------------------------------------------------// Return of Harmony //-------------------------------------------------------// Return of Harmony Hi Guys, I’m Goku As time went on, Celestia found that getting her mind off of what had happened… became easier. She new that her sister would be returning sometime soon, but she had a plan for when she did. As a ruler, it was her job to monitor her subjects. But there were several in particular that had different energy readings. 5, to be exact. And there was another one that she had had her eye on for a while now. She new that they would be able to do what she alone could not. And she only hoped that he would come back with her. It was 4 years until the date she had written the prophecy. 1000 years from the day that Goku had saved the world. Twilight was very nervous. Never before had she had to do something like this! She had to perform her magic, in front of judges HAND PICKED BY PRINCESS CELESTIA. Her parents said that it wold be fine. She was, after all, a sparkle! Only one of the most renowned magical families in Canterlot! But, she just shoved those thoughts away. She needed to get ready! The exam was in 1 hour, which means that she only had half that time to get ready. 1 hour later… She walked in the room with a happy, cool, and not nervous façade that really did not fit the situation. ‘Oh no, whats that?’ she asked her self nervously, noticing a cart in the centre of the room, with a large purple egg. In hindsight, it kinda matched her own colour scheme, with a light lavender colour and darker spots to highlight it. But all thoughts like that had left her as she walked up to the egg. Her palms were sweating as she slowly approached it, almost falling off balanced because of the ‘fancy dress shoes’ she had to wear. She looked over, and her parents flashed an obviously fake smile, as to try to reassure her. She tried, tried, and tried again to make the egg do anything, when suddenly an explosion boomed throughout the building, causing her eyes to glow from natural instinct, and her magic flowed out from a seemingly endless source, as if reaching deep into a well of power that had yet to be tapped. The judges were suspended in midair, and had they been able to talk, they would have been able to find their minds had switched bodies for the time being. Her parents turned into plants, and her magic (after freeing the dragon) began to act as nourishment for the young drake, making him grown to the point of breaking the ceiling of the exam room. Celestia noticed this, and quickly teleported into the room. She looked at twilight, and she saw the true power of one composed of magic. ‘the descendant of Starswirl and Sparkle, both very powerful and both very temperamental’ were Celestia’s thoughts, as she went to the still twitching twilight. Twilight couldn't control herself, as she saw the result of what sounded like a cannon going off. She looked around with a viewpoint of near-omniscience. It scared her. Just when she thought that she was damned to be kept here for all of eternity, she saw her. Celestia’s touch brought her crashing back into the body that she knew. She looked around, but with a new set of eyes, as it were. Then, she was offered to be Celestia’s own student, and with vigorous nodding from her parents, agreed. The next few years of her life seemed to be the first in a milennia for princess Celestia; everything prior to this and after the… event, all went by in a blur. Now, she had someone who she could endure with, and could help teach, and learn some herself. She noticed her students academic inclination, and how she seemed to think that the only way to be a good student was by becoming a recluse and only studying. She let it go, thinking it was the initial shock of getting taught by a deity of the land, but no, that was her natural go-to thing to do. No hobbies, other than reading. No pass times, other than writing. And, only toy was a doll in which she pretended to be doing the a fore said activities. It still messed with her sanity, even after knowing about it for a year. So, after finishing up a lesson about teleportation, she gave her student a break. She even personally contacted moondancer’s parents about inviting twilight to her party. They were enthused, but 2 days later she got a letter saying that she didn't go. A letter had arrived for her, mere minuted later, telling her about the prediction of nightmare moons return, and Celestia was stunned. Not only was she very inquisitive, but she seemed to be able to put pieces together of a puzzle that had yet to be finished. It was incredible. However, no one needs to be told they’re incredible, so she simply told her to stop studying all the time. Not only would that ensure that she reads all about it (because as we all know, banning something ensures that everyone knows about it), but also means that she will have direct contact with the elements. She had already arranged that she meet with all of them other than pinkie (discords vessel, but the don’t know that yet), but she did always seem to be in the right place at the right time. So that meant that after she was taken, they would all meet and go through tasks to prove their elements’ worth. And, maybe even get to meet her old friend… “Oh nonononono, this is bad!” twilight practically shouted. Spike said, “This is still only an old story, probably just to try and scare people.” Spike said in reassurance. “besides, we’ll be in a library, isn't that good for something at least?” Twilight seemed to beam at that. “yes, it does, and ill tell you why! Its because I’m right, and i'm gonna prove it!” she said smiling rather out of character. Spike took a nervous step back and said, “Well, lets go check out how to ponies of Ponyville are doing.” He said, trying to stay away from whatever it was twilight caught, as to keep his sanity. They came upon a pink one, who gasped, and seemed to speed away faster than the eye could follow. Both equally confused, they continued down the road to “Applejack’s Farm” to see how the food was coming along. From there. They went to check up on the choir, and everything else. Celestia was merely onlooking, and preparing herself for the inevitable that only she and her student knew about. After both an exhausting and disappointing day, twilight headed back home to the library, so she could get some sleep. She walked in, and after finding the lights, was surprised to find a large group of ponies greeting her. “Surprise!!” They all seemed to cry in unison, but the voice of a certain flamboyant pink pony seemed to overpower all other sound/though process. Until that point, Twilight thought that nothing could go faster than light, but as the pink one began talking, she found that was false (sorry Einstein). She tried to ignore it, yet pretended not to, and ended up confusing herself so much that she poured hot sauce into her drink, and consequently made fire come out of all her facial orifices, while she ran away, holding back tears of pain. Shaking away all conscious thoughts, she went to bed. She lay upon it for ~2.5 hours, before spike burst into her door, knocking her out of her trance. “Twilight, its time to go see Celestia bring out the sun!” he practically screamed at her. The made their way into the town hall, and everyone else was gathered there as well. In apprehension, twilight began to sweat; as the mayor was talking, the stars were conspicuously travelling towards the moon. As the reached it, the picture of a horses head was taken off the moon, followed by a strange luminescence. “-and without any further ado, I welcome Princess, Celestia!” the birds Fluttershy had arranged for this moment began to sing, as rarity pulled back the curtains with her magic. Nothing was there. Twilight had officially started to panic. Under other circumstances, she would have shouted “I TOLD YOU SO,” but seeing that this was neither the time nor place, she decided against it. “She’s gone!” rarity exclaimed, followed by nervous whispers. ‘No shit Sherlock’ was all twilight though to herself, as an eerie blue mist entered where Celestia should have been. It materialized into a female figure, though heavily armoured and a bluish aura. “Hello, my royal subjects, its been too long.” She said those last words laced with anger and almost resentment, though no one seemed to notice. “Don’t you all know who I am, or is my presence insignificant to mortals as yourselves?” she asked, almost laughing at the hatred filled faces of all onlookers, other than 2. One, was pink-haired, and didn’t seem to hold any significance. One, had a face of concentration, who seemed unsurprised when she appeared. ‘Hmm, she might be a problem,’ she thought. Before she could think any further, the mare in question said, “I know who you are. You’re the mare in the moon, nightmare moon.” Se said, Seeming to gloat silently to herself about her apparent knowledge. It was short-lived, as she seemed to remember something else. “Oh, then you must know why I’m here, then?” her answer came a little shakily, lacking the confidence of her previous statement. “You’re here, t-to bring about nighttime, forever.” She choked out the last part. This one was smarter than the others. As Nightmare made her leave, she did so, only to come back. In the commotion, there were 6 who didn't act as the rest did. The purple one ran back to the library, and was followed closely by the other 5. They arrived there, and she instantly began looking for the elements of harmony. Right when they started, a familiar figure walked through the door. “Hi guys, I’m Goku!” //-------------------------------------------------------// Return of Harmony pt. 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Return of Harmony pt. 2 Return of Harmony pt. 2 “Hi guys, I’m Goku!” Said the man, as he walked in happily. He was like nothing they had ever seen before. His clothing was unusual, to say the least. He appeared to be similar in form, though his presence was that of pure, untainted power. He appeared to be wearing some sort of uniform, and there were symbols both on the right of his chest and on his back. He was around the same height as them, though his hair gave him the appearance of a giant. It stuck straight out of his head, at many different directions and angles. It was jet black, and seemed to deny gravity its unspoken right, as it stood defiantly in the air. His eyes had a pupil in the middle; no iris, just black pupil, the same colour of his hair. And in the middle of his face stood the (second) largest grin any of them had ever seen. “So, what are your names?” he asked, still with the same enthusiasm. “My name is Twilight Sparkle-“ but was cut off by Goku upon hearing her name. “I knew a sparkle, one of the best men I've ever known…” He trailed off sadly, and asked them to please continue with the introduction. “I will want to hear more about this later, but as I said, my name is Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia.” “Oh really? Me too!” He replied excitedly, much to all of their surprise. So, after speaking with the rest of her friends, she agreed to speak of it later. “O-kay, this is my friend Applejack, She is the owner of ‘Sweet Apple Acres, and makes some of the best apple cider in all of equestria!” Applejack curtsied in pride, blushing from the over-dramatization of her talents. “And I’m, rainbow dash, fastest flyer in all of equestria! I just beat the record a few days ago-“ “Funny story actually, that was set by me!” Said Goku, a little too pleased at all their faces. Normally, they would tell people off for bragging, but he was so innocent and happy that they didn't even consider it as bragging. A little flabbergasted, rainbow decided to continue as if she didn’t hear that the Equestrian speed record was set by a monkey wearing pajamas, so she simply stated, “and, the coolest pony around!” she said. Obvious not very modest, but that’s not a very common trait to have. “I’m Pinkie Pie, and I just LOOOOOVEE, to PARTY!” she said, as confetti flew from seemingly everywhere. Goku had sensed that energy before, but he didn’t know where.’ Make a mental note, pinkie is oddly  familiar, and I can only imagine that Twilight is a skilled unicorn.’ “Hi, my name is Fluttershy.” If not for Goku’s super hearing, he wouldn’t have caught all of that. Being a saiyan does have its pros, does it not? “Well, hi Fluttershy, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Said Goku, holding out his hand for a shake. She accepted it, and it seemed to fill her with some courage, because soon she too, was smiling. “And I, am Rarity, the greatest fashion designer in Equestria!” She said, her ego getting the better of her. ‘the collective ego in here is enough to saturate the air, hope I don’t catch any of it!’ thought Goku, as he stared back at the well proportioned bodies of all the ponies. At further glances, he noticed that they all seemed to be made to look perfect. ‘They are really beautiful,’ thought goku, his smile never leaving his face. Until, that is, he remembered what they need to do. “Alright girls, I think that I know what we must do. Do you know what the elments of harmony are?” He asked, with the subtle desperation in his voice almost caught. “Elements of Harmony; A Reference Guide,” said pinkie, holding the book out to twilight, who was amazed. “How… did you?” twilight tried, before pinkie replied, in a singsong voice, “It was under EEEEEEeeeeee!” Everyone was dumbstruck for a moment, before twilight finished flipping the pages. “We need to get to the “Castle of the Two Sisters.” She said trying to keep her voice calm. “but, its in-“ “The Everfree Forest!?” everyone said, as if in practiced unison. “The Everfree forest, whats that?” he asked, mildly confused. He remembered a forest being here, but he didn't remember it being so… wild. Then, he remembered that this was one of the things discord changed while he was ruling. He used his magic to make time go incredibly fast after that as well, for two reasons; one, to make sure the damage couldn't be undone. Two, so that people would remember his reign as much longer than it was. “Oh, I remember now,” Goku said, a look of remembrance in his eyes. The others just seemed mildly confused. “O-kay, lets get going now”. They then started their trek into the forest, in search for the castle. As they were making their way into the forest, it slowly got darker, only for Goku to illuminate the way with a ki ball, surprising everyone. “Now, what in the hay is that, and why is it… glowin?” asked applejack. “Oh, this? This is whats known as my ‘internal energy,’ or ki,” Goku explained, not noticing that everyone had stopped walking. “Um, whats wrong everyone?” Goku asked, unsure of what was the right thing to say in this situation. It was the wrong thing. “Whats wrong, WHATS WRONG???” Screamed twilight, scaring off animals, though attracting others. “Now, I don’t know who in the hoof you think you are, but you can’t just go using magic without a horn!! It doesn't work like that! You need a magical outlet, somewhere to let the magic out fro… are you asleep?” She noticed the light went out, as she had literally bored Goku to sleep. Sighing, she picked him up with her magic, and started carrying him. Much to her surprise, he jumped right out of it, and started flying alongside them. It was kind of an experimental joke, and it certainly had the desired effect (Just imagine twilight as an anthro. Now, imagine said twilight, with a massive vein on her forehead, and her eyes starting to bulge ). Twilight pretended to ignore it, just play it off as some kind of hallucination. It worked, until she heard rainbow talking to him, about how fast he could fly. Then, they both saw Twilight's expression. While comical in nature, her eyes told of untold anger, confusion, and just the teeniest bit of madness. The rest of the walk there was rather eventful, almost as if something was planning the various pit stops along the way. There were evil trees, a manticore with an odd purple thorn in it that held a weird energy, and a melodramatic sea-serpent that lost it’s mustache. The final obstacle was a broken bridge, when rainbow volunteered to fix it. Goku sensed an evil energy that he knew all to well. So she had been tailing them. He knew he should help her, but this was an obstacle she would have to overcome by herself. As Goku predicted, they tried to manipulate her, but she proved her worth by declining, and helping her friends instead. With the bridge fixed, and no more obstacles in their way, the six friends and one Goku made their way to the castle. Or rather, the remnants of it. The Castle itself had an eerie feel to it, and had a sense of foreboding. As if the castle were saiyan (hehe) “don’t come any closer…”. Fluttershy noticed it first, and she started hiding behind her hair. Goku seemed unfazed by the castle, and continued on. Not wanting to be left behind, the others followed. When they openned the doors, Twilight immediately ran to several grayish orbs, each with a different symbol on it. Goku knew all of this though, but decided to let them figure it our by themselves. Then, twilight did something that Goku did not expect. “Alright girls, stand back, I don’t know what’s gonna happen.” Goku was stunned. How could someone so bright not have figured it out. All the trials leading p to this had proven the other’s elements worth, yet she was still blind. “Twilight, do you really want to leave them behind?” No sooner had he finished talking, nightmare moon reformed in front of them, from the blue mist that she was previously. Goku used instant transmission (something he learned how to do while meditating on the moon. I'm not breaking any rules, i'm just speeding up Goku’s timeline to follow the story) and went in front of twilight. She gasped, and looked at Goku. The smile usually plastered on his face was replaced by a determined frown, that barely creased his lips. His brow furrowed in concentration, he stared down nightmare moon. “So, you are back as well? How did the banishment suit you?” Goku asked, trying to buy twilight some time. She was still standing there, mouth agape. It wasn’t so much from the teleportation-without-magic, it was the fact that they seemed to know each other. “I assume you know the answer already?” Said nightmare, her voice laced with anger, no, hatred. Twilight continued to watch their stare down, before Goku threw the first punch. “Twilight, NOW,” he yelled, as nightmare flew back from the wall n which she was thrown. Twilight seemed to snap back into focus, and tried to power up the elements, but the spark failed, and they died out almost immediately. Goku then was hit into the wall, and nightmare, twilight, and the elements of harmony were transported away. All of her “friends” said, “Look, she’s up there!” Goku said, “Grab onto my arm, lets go!” they all obliged, and then were transported to the room. They saw the elements shatter, and Goku said, “Alright, you guys go back to ponyville, warn them about nightmare. I’ll hold her off for long enough.” Said Goku, his hair beginning to float up. His eyes began to shine with unnatural light, as he began advancing on nightmare moon in slow, even steps. Twilight couldn’t give up. She hadn’t known this guy for a day and already he was risking his life for her. ‘Damn if only there was a way…’ then it hit her. Maybe the fate of Equestria did need her to make friends. Maybe friendship is what powered the elements of harmony. Then, a deafening boom shook her back to reality yet again. Goku now had blond hair that was going straight up, and seemed to have golden flame coming off of him. Dazed, she looked back at the worried faces of her friends. Then, her eyes sparkled (go ahead, kill me now ), and with that she walked back to her friends, and said, “We need to help Goku, and I think I have a plan. But, it will require all of your help, even you Fluttershy,” she said, gesturing to the quivering yellow mare. Goku wasn’t really trying. He realized that Super-Saiyan was easily enough to beat her, but he can’t always be around to solve every problem. He was listening to their plan, and he almost smiled. But, you can’t alert the enemy about your plan ever. He put his full attention back in the battle, and tried to plan a way for them to stop her. He came up with nothing, so he figured that he’s just give them a little taste of responsibility. He then kicked her in the gut, and when she doubled over he followed with a quick uppercut, sending her into a back flip in which he caught her legs, and began spinning her around. After enough speed was built up, he said, “At your ready twilight!” She smiled, only to see nightmare moon sail over her head into the wall. All of the elements were powered up, after a brief description from twilight about why they fit into that element. They powered up, and shot the rainbow coloured evil-cleansing ray, right at the partially conscious nightmare moon. With a final, “NOOOOOOOO,” the villain had been stopped. Leaving a still partially-conscious-no-longer-evil princess sitting there, the colour of the night sky. “Wow, we did it!” exclaimed twilight, wiping some sweat from her brow. “As I knew you would,” Said another voice, seeming to come from all round them. Everyone looked for the voice, and gasped when they saw none other than their own princess of the sun. Everyone was overjoyed at seeing her, and Goku just stood back and smiled. The princess briefly glanced up at him, before stopping in her tracks, “…Goku?” The princess gasped, looking at him while smiling, though still a little confused. “That’s me princess,” he said, powering down back into his normal form, still with the same goofy smile on his face. He was unharmed from the battle, but going super saiyan still took a lot out of him. That’s when Luna began to stand up, and looked around. She didn’t seem to know where she was, but soon began crying. Celestia seemed to remember that she was still in the room, and looked down upon her sister. “You have embraced friendship into your heart twilight, now, I only wish another will do the same.” She said, an impossible to read expression on her face. She looked up, and said, “I’m sorry sister, please forgive me!” Goku smiled yet again, a single tear falling from his eye. Then, Pinkie decided it had been quiet for too long, and said, “you know what this calls for? A PARTY!!!!” //-------------------------------------------------------// End of Harmony //-------------------------------------------------------// End of Harmony ~48 Years Later Goku woke up, and wasn't able to shake the feeling that something was wrong. He had the body of a 28 year old man, who worked out heavily. All of his muscles shone through his well-fit shirt, making him look even stronger than he was. He heard a laugh that sent chills down his spine. He got up, and was unhappily surprised to find that it was still dark outside. He caught a quick glimpse of the moon, and looked away using all his self control. It was much darker than usual, almost unnaturally. Even so, he couldn't help but be worried. He looked around as to try to pinpoint Celestia’s location. Then, he saw, more like felt her presence. He got up and flew to her position. She was on the ground, seemingly in pain. He shook her a few times, and she came to her senses. “Goku, Luna has started-“ but was cut off by a loud laughing, and he turned around. After the initial reaction, Goku was still having trouble believing that she was the shy, quiet, and quite frankly lonely younger sister of the now downed princess. “What have you done to her?” Goku demanded, his cool composure never slipping. “Oh, nothing. I wouldn't have had to do anything if not for her ignorance!” She said, spitting out the words with malice, and a hatred that Goku didn't think was her own doing. Standing up, Goku slowly walked towards her. She took a step back, from the ferocity in his eyes. She then seemed to remember her place, and stepped back forwards, meeting his eyes with her own, cocky, arrogant ones. She brought up her hands in a quick flash, and Goku parried with his own. Both were moving at impossible speeds, each attack left a shock wave in its wake. All that could be seen by the untrained eye were disturbances in the air. The attacks were splintering windows, and rattling the concrete. Then the royal guards walked in, only to be stopped by the princess. Goku’s POV Why would she do this, we were friends! And, her sister… I wont forgive her. I walked over to her, barely able to contain my rage. She looked different, but that wasn't the biggest change. The energy given off was sinister in nature, and her eyes… they were that of a monster. I felt the attack coming before it did, and I blocked it with ease. Might as well enjoy the fight before I have to end it, I suppose. She bolted after me, and I sidestepped, my foot coming up as a reasonably slow speed. Apparently I put too much into it, because it went past her defense and hit her, sending her flying into the back wall. I rushed after, only to be surprised by a blast of energy going towards me. I blocked it, and decided that she shall pay for it immediately. I rushed to her with unparalleled speed, and she barely got a surprised look out before I hit her with all I had. Quickly she brought her own foot up, and I blocked that. Only for another blast to hit me square on the nose. I was cartwheeled on the ground, and we continued to match each other blow for blow. Little did she know I wasn't… Nighmare’s POV …Trying. Puh, this is all the little monkey has! Pathetic, I’ll take it up a notch. “You ready to end the warm-up?” I asked with malice, awaiting the surprised answer. “I was about to say the same thing!” To add emphasis on his obvious lie, he began stretching. Hah, as if! Those blows were feeble and meaningless,  just like his pitiful strength. Wait, somethings different about him. He is glowing red, what is that? His strength seems to be skyrocketing, lets see if we can have a little more fun, though only prolonging the inevitable. We both charged each other, and after several minutes, he seemed to be tiring. HAH, so this wont last long anyways. “I thought we were done with the warm up!” he said, smiling at me. But his eyes told differently. There was a hatred, a burning desire to see me beaten, and save his friends. Too bad its futile. I simply raised my power to 60%, to try to scare him off. He muttered, “I’m sorry Celestia…” Before glowing a deeper red, and his muscles bulging even more. He screamed in agony, but he was matching my power! It was impossible! I powered up\, and he only smiled, before we both disappeared from the visible spectrum once again. Celestia’s POV It was incredible, Goku seemed to have the upper hand. I knew I trained him well, but this exceeds any and every expectation that I would have even thought possible. Then, he did it. He let his rage consume him, and started using the ancient ways. Using his internal energy to power up his strength. I told him not to, but this situation was dire enough. They disappeared, and all that was heard were the sonic booms that meant a successful hit. At the end, goku fell, defeated. He was out of energy, but nightmare was not in much better shape. Then she saw something that surprised her. Goku stood up. Any shred of doubt regarding goku’s strength, or determination was gone at this point, as he stood up. He knew he couldn’t win, he could barely walk. Sure, nightmare had taken her fair share of damage, but the odds were still in her favor. Then, she flew forwards at incredible speeds, and kicked him in the face. He collapsed on the ground, and the only sounds from him were those of slow breathing. Nightmare advanced on Celestia, grin not contained any longer. “I need to kill you now, for you have been nothing but an insuperable barrier to me. My greatness, my pride, everything that I have had, was crushed by you. You are nothing more than a figurehead  representing a cap on my bottle of greatness, the resistance to my brilliant plans.” She paused, and smiled, pointing back to Goku. “And now, the filthy monkey can’t even save you from this.” No sooner had she said this, that an explosion was heard. The guards no longer were being restrained by a barrier that Celestia had put up, and had surrounded Nightmare. She looked around, grinning. “Well, your persistence is most admirable, as is your loyalty. But, this move was foolish.” She said, as she poked one of the guards on his helmet. He then had them raise their spears, and held them to her. Her only response was laughing as her bubble of magic shot outwards, launching the guards at the walls. The spears were still being held in place from her magic. The young son of Captain sparkle stood up, still the symbol of defiance. He looked at her, a smirk on his face. She looked at him, and a frown graced her face for only a moment, before every single spear (save one) was thrown at him. He dodged them, but one clipped his right quad, and scraped his thigh. He stood up, only to see a final spear launched at him, and saw no more. Goku stood up, and ran to him, finding strength suddenly return to his body. He looked down at him, ignoring the jests of nightmare. He tried to speak to his old friend, but to no avail. He continued to try, long after he had passed. He then stood up, and turned around to face his killer. Nightmare sighed in annoyance. ‘him again, how many times to I have to get that annoying pest?’ she thought to herself. Then, after what seemed to take ages, he stood up. Finally she though, before he turned around. Then she saw him. They say you can always see how people really feel through their eyes. She now new this to be true, as his eyes seemed to pierce right through her.  The blue irises could see right through her, and she new that she needed to stop him. He strode towards her, never breaking eye contact or blinking. She shot an immobilizing spell at him. He stopped for only a moment, before screaming at the top of his lungs. Around him was a new aura, one of gold, and of an unspoken power. His eyes still remained an icy blue, and his hair was spiky and golden. Rushing towards him at full speed, and threw a single, desperate punch but he caught her hand in mid punch. He then said to Celestia, “She is not completely evil, and I do not want to have to kill your sister,” he said, choosing his words carefully. “However, I will say that I will not hesitate to if she leaves me no choice.” Seeing no choice in the matter, Celestia replied back in a choked whisper, “Do what you must.” Goku then did a full 360 thrusting his leg into her belly, shattering her armour and launching her through the castle’s walls. Nightmare was stunned at the new strength and speed he had acquired through his new transformation. She had never seen this side of him before, and through Luna’s memories, she never once saw him as anything special. She decided that she would not be beaten by some piece of alien trash, and her rage burst forth, causing her muscles to bulge mildly. Her aura was still a deep purple, but it let out a surprising amount of power. After several more bouts, she saw that nothing she did could stop him. So, she simply gave up, and said that she was ‘sorry’ to her sister for all she had done. After doing so, Goku calmed down, and the fiery gold aura around him disintegrated. He seemed no longer injured, as if that inner power had rejuvenated him. She saw her chance, and she pulled out a rather large combat knife, and grabbed for Goku, getting him pinned as she held the knife to his throat. “Don’t move, or he dies!” she said, putting extra emphasis on the last word. Goku just smiled and mouthed the words, ‘its okay’ to Celestia. Before she could react, he glowed gold, but with less intensity. He then began to disappear, and he and nightmare turned into a beam of rainbow, as they both were sent to the moon. Both in stone, on the moon. She smiled, as tears slowly left her eyes, leaving trails down her face. She didn't bother trying to hide them. She then went over to the fallen guard. She pulled his eyelids down, in a sign of respect. The years ahead would not be easy for her, and she now had to face them- Alone
