Second Chapter 2

Twilight lay in her bed that night, wondering about the awkward events that had played out.  She sighed.  That morning had stirred something in her, and whenever she looked at Rainbow now, a certain fire flared through her body.  She didn’t know what it was then, but once in bed with no other thoughts nagging her, she was astonished.  She didn’t exactly want to admit it to herself, but… she was beginning to fall for Rainbow.  She almost pinched herself.  Was she in a dream?  How could she possibly like an arrogant mare like Dash?  She, Twilight Sparkle, definitely did NOT swing that way, but what if?  Whenever she thought of the kiss they had shared – her first – her body wanted it to happen again, even though her mind rejected the idea rudely.  She didn’t think she could deny it any longer, and she was surprised how suddenly the realization came.  She had a crush on Rainbow Dash!

“What do I do, what do I do?” Twilight wondered as she paced around house.  She wanted badly to be by Rainbow again.  She was ashamed of the fact, of course, but a new side that was hidden even from her eyes was taking her over.  She longed for another kiss, or a hug, or another stroke.  She wondered how for hours until she had an idea.  She would have to plan another sleepover, but this time invite all of the Mane Six.  That way, she could nonchalantly end up in another embrace.  Embarrassing she knew, but wanted.  Ever so wanted.

Rainbow decided the next day that she wanted to completely clear all the drama between her and Twilight by hanging out with her for one normal day.  She flew over to the library in which her friend dwelled.  She knocked three times on the door, and after a minute or so Twilight answered.

“Rainbow!  Hay, uh, hi!  What’s up?” she asked hurriedly.  With Rainbow near her body reacted to the closeness, and she took a step towards her.

“Hay Twi, I was wondering if you wanted to have a normal day together for once,” Rainbow offered.

“Yes!” Twilight said a bit too quickly.

“Okay, I was wondering if you wanted to go over to the race track and watch the race?” she asked.  The lavender mare in front of her agreed.

Pinkie Pie watched from the bushes in a neighbor’s yard.  She heard everything, and a new plan formed.  She didn’t let escape the fact that Twilight seemed more eager than usual to answer and agree to Rainbow, and she guessed that the effects of her game had already started taking place.  She followed them stealthily to the track.  Warm ups had started.  She hopped over to the two waiting ponies.  “HI!” she called merrily.  They turned into the perfect position for her plan.  She started rambling loudly and gesturing madly to keep their attention as a carless Pegasus broke formation and traveled straight for Rainbow’s butt!

Rainbow saw something coming at them fast, and pulled Twilight with her to the side.  The winged terror zipped past.  Rainbow realized what could have happened to make the drama between Twilight and her wor-   SMACK!  Something drove with brute force into her butt, and flung her into Twilight.  They fell onto the ground, Rainbow on top of her, and something on top of Rainbow, pressing her down into Twilight’s soft stomach, their faces pressed uncomfortably together.

Twilight groaned as she realized the predicament she was in.  Somepony was on top of he- Rainbow!  Rainbow’s soft underbelly was pressed forcefully into hers, their muzzles pressed together.  She opened her mouth as if to groan, but really only made Rainbow’s mouth merge with her own.  She pretended to look surprised, but really she felt the utmost pleasure in their position.  They would be stuck for some time in this tangle of limbs while the unconscious Pegasus atop them was dragged off.  She cheered inside and let her body give in to the heat.

Rainbow jabbed the stallion on top of her, and managed to shove him off a bit.  Pinkie came over and took the situation the complete wrong way.  “DOG PILE!” she said, and leaped onto the passed out flyer, pressing her farther into Twilight’s stomach.  Their mouths got pushed more so together, and she could feel Twilight’s tongue.  They both made an effort to get their tongues away from each other, Twilight more to keep her image.

When some mare finally noticed the awkward position they had ended up in, she helped get Pinkie and the flyer off, so that Twilight and Rainbow could untangle themselves.

“How did that happen?” Twilight asked groggily.  Rainbow shook her head.

“I have no clue.  I took us out of the path of one Pegasus, but I guess another one was right on his tail.  I’ll have a bruise on my butt for a week!” Rainbow exclaimed.  Twilight smiled.

“Yeah, that was gross,” she lied through her teeth.  “Why does this kind of stuff keep happening to us?”

“I have no clue,” Rainbow said with another shake of the head.  She seemed to be doing that more often lately.

“By the way, I don’t know if this is the best time to tell you this, but to make up for last sleepover’s fail, I’m having one this weekend.  I’m hoping that all of our best friends can come,” she said anxiously.  To her relief, Rainbow loved the idea.

Rainbow loved the idea.  In her mind, it would be another chance for her to clear the drama between them, so people wouldn’t start thinking things they shouldn’t.  “That would be great!” she said cheerily.  Little did she know, Pinkie was already planning again…

Pinkie swept through the night, gathering materials for plans that could happen later.  She couldn’t be seen, so she chose to go at the latest time she could think of, when everypony would be asleep.  She stole from house to house, hiding in the shadow behind each.  She knew her cautious antics were unneeded, but it was so much fun!
