And then you can see your dress for the very first time” Rarity said as she walked through the doors of her boutique. She stopped and looked around the boutique. “Where did they go, I stayed up all night to make this” Rarity said looking ashamed. “Oh hang on” she stared at the till where to pony was standing. “What’s this” she picked up a piece of paper and read the note to herself. Dear Rarity You have been invited to a beauty pageant in the Everfree Mansion; it is free entry as you have been picked to be a contestant. Meet me there at 20:00 on the dot. Don’t be late. Rarity put down the letter and threw it down on the counter. “I have the find my best dress, oh what should I wear” she ran behind the till and pulled out dresses and dresses. Then she stopped. “I have to do my mane first, then I can find a decent dress and then I can…” Outside of the boutique Rainbow Dash was flying around the town when she flew into someone. “Hey watch it, you nearly…” The pony ran off and dropped a note behind them. “Hey mister you dropped you’re… Don’t worry then” she said staring at the note on the ground. She picked it up and read it to herself. Dear Rainbow Dash You have been invited to a flying school at Everfree Mansion; it is free entry as you are the student! Meet me there at 20:00 on the dot. Don’t be late. She put the note down and stared in the direction the pony had ran off. “Hey that note was for me, where did that pony go” she looked around the town and flew up into the air. “I will find him soon enough, I need to find out how he knew my name” As Rainbow Dash flew around the town she flew past sugarcube corner where inside Pinkie Pie was jumping up and down. “I love parties, I love to party” Pinkie Pie repeatedly shouted while jumping around. “Hey what’s this by the door” She hopped over to the door and picked up a note. Dear Pinkie Pie You have been invited to a party; I know how much you love them. The party is at 20:00 and is in the Everfree Mansion. Be there right on the dot. Don’t be late. “A party you say” Pinkie Pie shouted while still jumping up and down. “Oh how I am going to have to go to that one” she ran into her room and pushed out the party cannon. “They may be needing this” she said and she pushed it out of the front door and down into the street. “Hey Twilight look a letter to a party” she waved the letter towards Twilight. “Oh hey Pinkie, a party you say. Who’s going?” “I don’t know Twilight but I do know that someone told me to go, so I will be going” Pinkie Pie said hopping around Twilight. “Well, Pinkie be careful” Twilight said looking at Pinkie Pie. “Oh Twilight, what makes you say that. I am always safe, what could happen to me” Pinkie replied. “Well I just have a bad feeling about this Pinkie” “Oh you always do Twilight” Pinkie hopped of singing. “I’m going to party, I love to party” While Twilight Sparkle was looking in shock. “I always do…” she repeated. Pinkie Pie hopped along the road and saw Fluttershy. “Hey Fluttershy are you going to a party too?” Pinkie Pie questioned. “No Pinkie, I am looking after these rabbits, they need to cross the path. If I was not here how would they do it otherwise?” Fluttershy said. “Oh well don’t worry Fluttershy, you will get a chance to go another day.” Pinkie Pie pushed the party cannon off though the woods and went off singing. Fluttershy was standing still looking at rabbits cross the path. “Oh well, they will make it I could go and see if I received a letter to the party.” Fluttershy flew slowly back to her cottage, but turned around quick and went up to the rabbits. “I will be back later for you guys. Don’t worry.” she flew back of slowly towards her cottage. When she got there, she looked down at the door to the cottage and saw a note. “Pinkie was right, I did get a note.” she bent down and picked it up. Dear Fluttershy You have been invited to Everfree Mansion at 20:00 to a class on how to protect the woodland creatures. The class is free. Meet on the dot. Don’t be late. Fluttershy put down the note and looked at the clock. “Oh my it is 19:45 I better get there quick.” She put down the note and flew slowly to the mansion. When she had got there she saw Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie outside the mansion with a big party cannon. “Oh Fluttershy! Thank god you are here! I thought I would be in hell. How can Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash be in the beauty contest? They have not got the looks like me.” Rarity said with her hooves wrapped around Fluttershy’s body. “Oh thanks Rarity, I was told it was a flying class and I thought the same thing with you being here” Rainbow dash looked her up and down. “Girls hush, I hear the party starting.” Pinkie Pie said. All of a sudden the big double doors to the mansion opened and there stood Derpy. “Derpy what are you doing here?” Rarity said, looking at her in a blank thought. “I’m here cos I can flap my wings, do you want to see?” Derpy replied. “No you’re OK Derpy.” Pinkie replied. All of a sudden it started to rain. “Quick get inside! It is starting to rain.” Rarity shouted as she pushed her way into the mansion. “Calm down Rarity, we are going in.” Rainbow Dash said. All of the ponies walked into the mansion. “So then where is the woodland animal protection class?” Fluttershy asked. “I don’t think there is a class Fluttershy, or a party, and no flying class. And worst of all there is no beauty contest.” Rarity said as she hang her head low and started to cry. “Wait…” Rainbow Dash shouted. “Derpy show me the note you got, I mean we all got a note, so what does yours say Derpy?” Derpy handed a piece of chewed up paper to Rainbow Dash. Dear Derpy You have been invited to a mansion. That is a big house and inside there is a big, big muffin. Now you need to get there nice and early so when the little hand on the clock gets to the 7. See you then “Wait so you’re telling me that this is all a setup?” Pinkie said. “Well of course it is. “Rarity said as she looked around the mansion. “Derpy, what else did the person say to you? Or what happened when you got here?” Rainbow Dash asked. “They said lock the door.” BANG… They all turned around and saw the once opened door slam shut behind them and lock. “Were locked in, help, help me!” Rarity shouted. “I don’t think that will help very much.” Fluttershy said. “Then they said I will die.” Derpy shouted. “Not now Derpy, we need to get out of here first.” Pinkie Pie said. “Look do it like this.” Rainbow Dash flew and hit the door repeatedly. “He said I will die!” Derpy shouted and with that a bullet came though the lounge door and hit Derpy right in the chest. Derpy flew across the room and lay on the opposite side of the room. “Derpy!” Shouted Pinkie Pie. All of the ponies ran over to her body and looked at her lying there on the floor. “Oh why you Derpy?” Rarity said looking down at her corpse. Then up jumped Derpy and said as happy as she could. “Then then they said they would kill all of you. And also I like muffins.” Derpy said. Then Derpy fell back over lied in a pile of blood. “They’re going to kill us all” Rarity said looking at the remaining ponies. Don’t be late. “Derpy, what else did the person say to you? Or what happened when you got here?” Rainbow Dash asked. “They said lock the door.” “We're locked in, help! Help us!” Rarity shouted. “He said I will die!” Derpy shouted and with that a bullet came though the lounge door and hit Derpy right in the chest. Derpy flew across the room and lay on the opposite side of the room. “They’re going to kill us all” Rarity said looking at the remaining ponies. Chapter 2 – The Mansion “What do we do now?” Rainbow Dash shouted. “I saw we just wait. There has to be an explanation to this.” Fluttershy said looking at the group. The group all looked back at her. “You could say that Fluttershy, but we are all locked in a mansion with Derpy dead right in front of us. You could be the killer wanting us to be here.” Rarity said stepping back one step at a time. “You cannot trust anyone here.” She said taking a big jump backwards this time. “Yeah, you're right Rarity it could be you.” Rainbow Dash said “Stop it, stop it. We don't know who it is, but it is best if we try and think logically and try and work this out.” Pinkie Pie said. She looked around the entrance of the mansion. “Most of the time there are two other ponies with us, there is Applejack and Twilight. As they are not here they must be pulling some sort of joke on us.” Pinkie Pie questioned. Looking at the group. “So it must be them then.” Rainbow Dash said “Come on girls, come out while you still can, otherwise I will be getting you and you won't know what hit ya.” “Rainbow, they are not going to come out any time soon. It will be best if instead of them getting us, we get them. So we find them, think about it, they have to be in the mansion somewhere.” Rarity replied. “Fine then as there are four of us we will split into groups of two, that way we can cover half of the mansion each.” “That’s a great idea Fluttershy, right then I will go with Pinkie and you can go with Rarity.” Rainbow Dash said. “But what will we do about Derpy? Her body is right there.” Rarity replied. “Don’t worry she is faking it, if she is still there when we get back then we should be worried.” Rainbow Dash said. “Now girls, run as fast as you can Rainbow is coming to get you.” With that, Rainbow Dash flew off though the mansion. “Wait for me Rainbow!” said Pinkie Pie, hopping along behind her. “So where do we go then Fluttershy? But be aware, there is a killer on the loose.” Rarity said, winking at Fluttershy. “What! I did not do it, why would I bring you all up here to kill you all. You are my friends, not my enemies.” Fluttershy said while walking slowly though the double doors leading to the lounge. “Oh look Rarity, there is a bullet hole in this door.” Fluttershy said, stoking the bullet hole. “This must be where the killer was standing when he… Or she pulled the trigger. But what I still don’t understand is why Derpy got shot.” Rarity said, looking at her body though the bullet hole. “Look, the killer must still be in this room as think about it, the only way out is this door here. “ Rarity pointed at the door behind them. “Well Rarity, they might have climbed out of the window then ran around the mansion and climbed into another window in another room.” Fluttershy said as she ran over to the window while Rarity was looking around the lounge. “Ok forget that theory, the window is still locked so they couldn’t have climbed out of it.” She walked over to the fireplace and leaned back on a candlestick. Just as she did the whole fireplace revolved and there was a loud. BANG… “Fluttershy! Fluttershy!” Rarity screamed. “Where are you!” she ran around the room knocking over all of the furniture in her way. Upstairs, in one of the bedrooms, Rainbow Dash was hiding under the bed. “Dashie! why are you hiding under the bed?” Pinkie Pie questioned nudging her head under the bed where Rainbow Dash was. “I heard a Bang. I knew it was one of them downstairs, it has to be.” Rainbow Dash said as she crawled back out from under the bed. “It was nothing Dashie, if one of them was a killer, then the one who was not the killer will be dead, but then the one who is the killer will be walking up them stairs now to get us and kill us.” Pinkie Pie said. “Pinkie, you lost me after the word killer. You're right, it was most likely nothing maybe a tree scraping along the window sill.” Rainbow Dash said, shaking. “I think the worst thing is that we are all fighting. You never know it may not be one of us at all.” Pinkie Pie said. “You're right on that one Pinkie. I’m going to go and explore the bathroom. You wait there, I will be back in a tick.” Rainbow dash said as she flew quite quickly out of the room. Pinkie Pie explored the bedroom, she looked under the bed, in the wardrobe and out of the window that was locked and bolted. “Ok Rainbow, I have done this room, I’m coming in to help you. You better be decent.” Pinkie let out a small laugh. “You get that Rainbow decent as you are in the bathroom?” Pinkie pushed open the door. “Rainbow are you there?” She nudged open the door and no one was in the bathroom. “She probably check this room, she’s got to be upstairs.” Pinkie Pie ran along the corridor pushing all of the doors she could see. But they were all locked. Pinkie walked slowly down the stairs looking around at everything she could see, just when she walked into Rarity. “Aghhhh!” They both screamed. “Oh hey Rarity, you haven’t seen Rainbow have you?” Pinkie Pie said, blinking at her repeatedly. “I was just about to ask you the same thing, Fluttershy has gone missing too.” replied Rarity. “I have a feeling, this is it friend, we are about to die.” They both hugged each other while shaking in their hooves. “Hang on, what is that over there?” Rarity questioned. “It looks like Derpy’s body has a note on it.” They walked over to Derpy’s body and Pinkie Pie snatched the note off the body. Dear House Guests You now know what is going on here. But what you don’t know is why you are here. You are all here as you all have a secret about the people you are with, and that little secret of yours is oh so bad to your friends. Let’s just say it may make you want to kill each other. They both looked up and saw a shadow of a pony, then came a muffled but loud voice. “WHAT ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS DO YOU LOVE THE MOST” The pony shouted. “Well I think Rainbow she is the best.” Pinkie Pie said. “No we love Fluttershy the best.” Rarity replied. “MAKE UP YOUR MINDS.” Said the voice. “We can’t.” Shouted Pinkie Pie “THEN THINK.” The voice got even angrier then it was the last time. “WHAT IF I GIVE YOU BACK YOUR FRIENDS THEN, THEN YOU CAN THINK!” there was a pause. Then a door to the basement unlocked and out came Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. They ran over to Rarity and Pinkie Pie and hugged them. “YOU HAVE ONE HOUR TO THINK, WHAT ONE OF YOU SHOULD DIE. OTHERWISE I WILL STRIKE AGAIN AND MAKE IT MORE OF A PAIN FOR YOU TO WATCH.” The voice said, all of the doors locked one by one, and a clock started to tick. They all looked at each other, each of them knowing one of them was involved in the killings. They had to use this time carefully.
