While his life is in shambles, Tirek is shown a way out; a portal to a new life. when he climbs through, he finds himself in Ponyville. With his magical power still weak and recovering, he decides to remain undercover. To keep himself from seeming suspicious however, he'll need a job and a home. Luckily (or unluckily) for him, Sugarcube Corner is hiring. With so much occurring at once and a new perspective on life, Tirek reconsiders his whole standpoint of the world he once wanted to destroy and conquer.
