The Music of Love

Blaze Fret was a humble stallion; he lived a happy life in his home neighborhood on the outskirts of Canterlot. He didn't do much, but he played guitar a lot, he had been playing since he was a little colt. One day he got his cutie mark, a fret board, from playing the guitar in a way no pony had ever heard before. One day, while playing the guitar, Blaze Fret heard a noise from behind him. "What the hay was tha-". Blaze Fret was cut off when all of a sudden; he was teleported from his house into an open field. It was on the very outskirts of ponyville. He fell flat on the ground with a loud thud. He heard a voice say behind him

"Ugh, I think Trixie grabbed the wrong book, that’s a regular stallion, not a Draconequus".It was The Great and Powerful Trixie. She had tried to use a spell to summon a Draconequus for payback after what had happened last time in ponyville. The Spell had really hurt Blaze Fret and made him very dizzy. "Well on the bright side, he is kind of cute" Trixie muttered to herself, "Maybe I will take him back to my place" My Place? Blaze Fret was very curious to what was going on, but all he wanted to do was just fall back and faint. He was tired and the spell made him extremely dizzy. Blaze Fret fainted.

When he awoke, he way laying on a couch in an odd looking trailer. Trixie came out of another room "Oh, I see my little friend has woken up!" Blaze Fret was extremely confused at this point. "What happened? Where am I?"

Trixie paused for a moment. "Well you see..... Trixie was trying to summon a Draconequus, but Trixie grabbed the wrong book and must have summoned you............."

"The name is Blaze Fret, why would you want to summon a Draconequus anyway?"

Trixie paused again. "Umm... well you see.... its a long story"

"Good, Because I have time" Blaze Fret said sarcastically.

Trixie didn't want to tell Blaze Fret about what had happened in Ponyville, and why she wasn't appreciated there. She was afraid Blaze Fret might lose interest in her, if he had any for her at all. "Trixie was..... unliked by the townsfolk of Ponyville"

"How so?" Blaze Fret said confused.

"Well..... Um" Trixie tried to delay saying her story as long as possible. "Well, I kind of.......... almost destroyed the town with an Ursa Minor."

"You what?!" said Blaze Fret surprised. He had heard stories about hoe the Great and Powerful Trixie bragged a lot but he didn't think It would come to anything this severe.

Trixie was embarrassed. It was pretty obvious; she was having a hard time putting together a sentence. 'W-well Trixie is... Trixie means Trixie was performing..... a... and they didn't appreciate it!"

Blaze Fret was confused out of his mind. All he wanted to do was go back to Canterlot, or at least get something to eat. He was starving. "Well I wish you the best of luck. I'm gonna go out and see if I can get some food." Blaze Fret headed for the door.

"You Can’t Leave Yet!" Trixie yelled. She put a spell on the door, not knowing how strong the spell was.

As Blaze Fret grabbed the door handle, a surge of powerful magic was sent through his body, shocking him unmercifully. After the shock was over, he fell down, unconscious again.

Blaze Fret woke up in the Ponyville Library. He had no clue how he got there. Wasn't he just at Trixie's house? It was all too confusing at the time. He woke up to a specific purple mare examining him. It was Twilight Sparkle. "He's waking up!" Twilight shouted.

"Where am I?" Blaze Fret asked the purple mare. "And how did I get here?"

Twilight began to explain. "Well, I was going out to an open field; I was planning to test a new spell. I saw you lying out in the middle of the field. I went over to check to see if you were all right and you were unconscious when I got there. Also there was some weird star patterned piece of fabric on the ground next to you. I brought you back here to see if you were all right."

Blaze Fret was still very confused. How did he get in the field? Where was this field? He decided not to ask any more questions though. Twilight must have worked hard to get him back here. "Thanks for bringing me back here, I don’t know what I would do if I woke up in the middle of a field." Blaze Fret said.

Twilight giggled "Well I’m glad you're awake, does anything hurt? Do you have any injuries? I can you a spell to speed up the heal-" Twilight was interrupted by Blaze Fret

"Yes I’m sure I’m fine, I just need to get up and get something to eat, My stomach is killing me" Blaze Fret tried not to show any pain, but his stomach was really killing him. He must have been unconscious for longer than he thought.

"Go to Sugar Cube Corner" Twilight Said "Pinkie Pie would be happy to bake for you"

"Thanks...." Blaze Fret was interrupted by Twilight

"Twilight Sparkle" said twilight "Speaking of names, Pinkie Pie will most likely introduce you to everypony."

"Thanks Twilight Sparkle. Do you mind If I stay here for a while? I was teleported here and don't know how to get back to Canterlot." Blaze fret said.

“I would, but I only have enough room for Spike and I." Twilight said sorrowfully. "I’m sure somepony will let you though."

Blaze Fret sighed. He thanked Twilight again for bringing him back. He left and headed for Sugar Cube Corner. When he arrived, he was greeted by a bouncing pink pony.

"Hi!" Pinkie Pie shouted. "I don't think we've met before! I'm Pinkie Pie, who are you?"

"I'm Blaze Fret." He replied, less enthusiastic as she was.

"Nice to meet you Blaze Fret!" Pinkie Pie said "I just love meeting new ponies and making new friends! You're my friend right?" Pinkie asked

"Sure I am" Replied Blaze Fret. He was shocked about how energetic and nice Pinkie Pie was.

"Hooray!" Pinkie Pie Shouted. "Are you new to Ponyville? I need to introduce you to everypony!"

By sunset Pinkie Pie had Introduced Blaze Fret to everyone in Ponyville. Blaze Fret was starving, but decided not to mention it. He felt that it would ruin Pinkie Pie's time. When they were done they returned to Sugar Cube Corner

"Man that sure was fun!" said Pinkie Pie. "I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Actually Pinkie.." Started Blaze Fret. “Can I stay at your place tonight? I asked some ponies while you introduced me; they all said they couldn't for one reason or another. I've got nowhere else to stay in Ponyvile."

"Sure!" Pinkie pie yelled "Put you have to do me a big favor!"

Confused, Blaze Fret asked "What is the favor?"

"I see your cutie mark is a fret board" said Pinkie Pie. "need entertainment for some of my parties!! can you perform there?"

Blaze Fret was astonished, he has been wanting to perform in front of other ponies for years! "Sure!" Blaze Fret Replied. He had finally gotten his opportunity to perform.

"Okie Dokie Lokie!" Pinkie Pie replied.

Both were happy and tired. They went into Pinkie Pie's Room and fell asleep
