//-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight's spells gone wrong! Written by Spike -by Sonic Raynboom- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue With a crash, the library doors flew open. Spike looked up from his comic book to complain about the cold air whoever it was was letting in, but the complaints died in his throat as he saw who had opened the door. The damsel in distress Rarity, her beautiful and impeccably curled amethyst mane framing her marble fur perfectly, her sapphire eyes gazing at him in adoration. "Spike, marry me! I cannot believe I was so blind as to not see your masculine presence and rugged good looks! You are truly the Prince Charming of my dreams! I beg you, marry me! Marry me, and I will be the happiest mare in Equestria!" she exclaimed. "Of course, my love!" He shouted, jumping up. Somehow, he was taller and more muscular. Suddenly, a swarm of changelings leaped in. "Food...Love...Yessssss!" They hissed, approaching Rarity, who shrieked in terror. "I'll save you, my love!" Spike had a lance, was dressed like a knight and was riding Twilight, who pawed the ground a few times before charging. He whacked the changelings, right and left! "My hero!" shouted Rarity in joy and adoration. The changelings shrieked in horror, ".... WAKE UP!!!" Spike shot up in his basket. " I'll save you Rarity!!!" he exclaimed before realizing that he was looking at Twilight, not Rarity, and there were no changelings."Oh." He said somewhat sheepishly. "Hi Twilight." The mare in question was frantically running around packing stuff. "HiSpikelistentheprincessescalledmetoCanterlottohelpthemwithsomethingsocanyourunthelibrarywhileI'mgoneforafewdaysthanksandpleasecleanoutmydeskImightneedtorunsomecalculationswhenIgetbackthanksyou'rethebestbye!" With that, she ran out the room. Spike sighed. After many years as Twilight's assistant, he had gotten used to things like what had just happened. He reluctantly got out of his basket and trudged to the desk to begin cleaning. When Spike opened the first drawer, he saw a blue book with a black stain. Remembering what had happened after that stain was formed prompted a laugh. He realized that Twilight had never written down what happened, like she normally did. He decided to help her by doing so. Also, Shining Armor would get a kick out of learning about his baby sister's latest exploits the next time he visited the crystal empire.
