Life might get better....
A single orphanage stood just on the outskirts of Ponyville. It was a lovely honey color with a sunny theme to it. Coming out of a door was a mare pushing a little unicorn filly in a wheelchair. The filly was a cute sea blue but her hooves, flank and horn was white and marked with black spots. Her eyes were shut but she was smiling. Her mane which was slightly curly was a light purple with a single streak of pink running down the middle.
The mare stood pushing the filly when they made it to the end of the path, she smiled and said.
''Better get a move on there, Miracle. School will be starting soon,''
''I know, see you later, Mrs Flowerpot,'' said Mira, smiling as she began pushing the wheels on her wheelchair with her magic. Her eyes opened to reveal one ruby red eye and one sun golden eye.
''Remember, dearie, to come back before 5 as that's our adoption hour and I presume your cooking again tonight,''
''I will remember and I will since the other fillies and colts like it,'' said the 7 year old to the orphanage owner.
''Bye then,''
Mira smiled and waved 'goodbye' before continuing to push the wheels of the wheelchair so she could get to school. She smiled at the sight around her as she past it and slowly the red building that was the schoolhouse appeared. There were a few dozen fillies around the building but not too many.
She recognized the CMC which were playing dodge ball with Pipsqueak, the 6 of then running round dodging the ball. There was also Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon, the main school bullies and they were just lazing around like usual.
Mira continued moving and slowly got even closer to the school. She stopped just next to the step that was meant to led into the schoolhouse. She waited till....
''My little ponies, time for class!'' It was Cheerilee calling the fillies in from the yard, Cheerilee saw Mira and smiled.''Need some help, Miracle Spot?''
''Yeah, a bit...,'' mumbled the filly. Cheerilee smiled and pushed the filly slowly up the steps so the filly could get to her desk.
''Thank, Mrs Cheerilee,''
The wheels glowed under the light of her magic to push to the desk in the far corner that was made personal for her. She sat down and began making notes in her bright sliver notepad that her deceased mother gave to her for her third birthday.
Lessons came and went and soon Mira's notebook was half full with new and old notes. The clock stuck the ten o-clock mark and the bell rang for break time. Mira looked up to see everypony leaving, Cheerilee began cleaning the whiteboard. Mira smiled, horn aglow, she moved the cleaner to clean the board in only a few seconds.
''Oh thank you, Miracle,''
''Your welcome,'' said Miracle politely.
She lit her horn again but this time to push the wheels of her wheelchair slowly out of the door since it was easier getting out then in. She moved into the field of the school yard. She looked around, she saw Nyx from the CMC attempting to teach Sweetie Belle to use magic and Scootaloo to fly but appearing to fail miserably.
Her vision then shifted to a pair of rapidly getting closer fillies. Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon. Her eyes shifted from wonder to fear as she pushed her wheelchair backwards till click! It hit the fence. Diamond Tiara grinned at the sight of the shy wheelchair bound filly.
''Oh oh, what do we have here?''
''Yeah, Sliver. A little WHEELCHAIR bound filly,''
''Um er...'' murmured poor Mira.
''So Miracle, when are you going to move your lazy butt off that seat?'' said Diamond Tiara in a sarcastic voice.
''I....,'' uttered Mira but soon shut her mouth since it was useless.
''Don't even open that foul mouth of yours. Your useless, you can't even walked so you get out of sports class when we don't, that's just cruel. What REASON DO YOU HAVE TO STAY INSIDE WHEN WERE OUTSIDE!?''
''Um....er....'' whispered Mira very quietly as she was on the verge of tears. She was actually determined to attempt to run away, actually RUN away without her wheelchair. But thinking about it made her back hooves hurt.
''Not to mention your a BLANK FLANK!''
They began laughing at Sliver Spoon's remark but poor Mira cried till whack. Diamond Tiara fell into a mud puddle.
''Diamond!'' yelled SS as she picked up DT's tiara, cleaned it and pasted it to the filly. Diamond Tiara growled and put the damned tiara on her head and glared at her attacker. It was Apple Bloom with Scootaloo to her left and Sweetie Belle to her right. Twist was behind Diamond and Nyx was circling above them.
''Diamond, leave the poor filly alone. Lookin' at her, she about to wail!''
''So, your point is?'' said Diamond sarcastically since she was in a foul mood.
''Leave her alone!'' yelled Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Twist quickly grabbed Diamond's tiara.
''Now Nyxie!'' she yelled into the sky to the black alicorn. Nyx nodded and set her horn aglow taking the tiara, lifting it into the air then swinging it slowly around before dropping it. It landed in the mud pail and splat! Hit Diamond Tiara right in the face.
''Ohh, you CMC group will pay!''
With that, she ran off into the distance with Sliver Spoon who was cleaning Diamond's tiara. When she was gone from sight did Mira dare to talk.
''Um...thanks....''
''No problem, always good to help,'' said Apple Bloom. She moved her forehoof in front of her with Mira to shake, ''I'm Apple Bloom''
''Um, my name is Miracle Spot but I like to be called Mira,'' said Mira smiling.
''I'm Sweetie Belle!'' said Sweetie Belle hopping up and down on the spot, her horn sparking.
''And I'm Scootaloo,'' said Scootaloo, flapping her tiny wings gaining a few inches but not much.
Nyx landed next to Twist who smiled and walked over.
''I'm Peppermint Twist but everypony refers to me as Twist,''
''Um, my name is Nyx Sparkle, next in line for the throne of the night sky and friendship. Night sky isn't my mommy's throne but I'm in line for it if no heir comes in line,''
''Cool...um, Nyx your a princess and your in school?!''
''Yep, I love school and being with my best friends,''
''Really? Um I love cooking and magic.....,''
''That's cool. How about you cook for us once or help me teach Sweetie Belle with magic? Scootaloo needs for help....,''
''Sure,'' said Mira, wiping her tears and smiling.
