Derpy returns to school after finally being rid of mono, only to find that some of her friends are acting strangely and their are three new girls in school.
Derpy has been out of school for months, due to a severe case of mono. She's finally better and ready to return to school.
But everything's different. Practically all of her friends and classmates are obsessed with auditions for a "Battle of the Bands", and Derpy is left confused.
