//-------------------------------------------------------// Seeing Through Smoke -by Smokin_Barrel- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Smoking Barrel - Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Smoking Barrel - Prologue Smoking Barrel lays flat with a dead look on his face on the hard concrete ground in his eight by six meter garage. His place was a mess. There were vodka bottles scattered across the place, his gadgets and weapons are unorganized on his workbench that was at the top corner of this hovel of his. He coughs and yawns as he begins to open his only functioning eye. Smoking Barrel's other eye is a white eye, so he can not see through that eye. Smoke weakly begins to move and stretch his hooves to the side of him.  He grunted and groaned as he struggled to get up from the drool and vodka puddle he was laying in. He weakly went towards his only mirror and water bucket to refresh himself for this sunny morning in PonyVille. Smoke sighed and put his head under the cold, icey water bucket for about five seconds and pulled his head back out, shaking his head then looking into the mirror. "Ahh..." He coughed, "Just another day... right?" He said to himself with his deep, Russian sound voice in front of his mirror. Smoking Barrel went over to his very un-organized workbench with some gadgets and weapons that were being built or have not been put away properly. One weapon that stood out from the rest of the others was his chain lighting gun. He was still testing the weapon's functions, but it is nearly complete. Smoke aims for the weapon to at least neutralize up to six or more targets with a single shot. This weapon will hold great power, greater power than the weaponry of the royal guards. Smoking Barrels vomits, "Ugh... Why am I even like this..." He complained to himself in front of his mirror as he made his way through the messy hovel and to the workbench of his. "I will clean both of these messes up later." He exclaimed as he wiped his mouth from the vomit, dangling from his mouth. Smoking Barrel grabbed some of the gadgets and placed them into some boxes that were beside the workbench, and what was left on the table was the chain lighting gun itself. It shined golden and seemed to stand out from the rest of his projects. "My work is nearly done... HAH! - He coughed, "It will be all done in a matter of time..." He stated. Smoking Barrel grabbed his tools and began to finish off on what he had started two months ago. He has tested this weapon many times, it has backfired, not worked and even nearly set the whole everfree forest a blaze since Smoke tests his weaponry in that location. He began to screw the final screws into place, weld some small parts of the weapon together, wiring the final wires until it was time for lunch. Smoking Barrel had basically finished creating this weapon by the time. He grabbed some old, stale chips that were sitting on top his piano across the garage. He ate them all with disgust but it was all he had to eat. Smoking Barrel looks at his piano with his only functioning eye, he thinks it might take his mind of the disgusting chips he has just eaten. He shrugged and began to play for a while, playing smoothly and fluently until it was getting near to dusk. Smoke did not have many things to do in his spare time. He does not like to talk to any other ponies due to the fact that he makes all these dangerous weaponry that no pony else would even begin to understand their power. Smoke decided until it was night time, he would go then go test his chain lighting weapon. While Smoke was travelling through the everfree forest to his usual test spot for his gadgets and weaponry, he needed to make sure that he was not followed by anypony else. He looked around and checked where other ponies could have been lurking. But thankfully, there was no pony in sight, no pony to discover what that drunken pegasus was really up to in his smelly, disgusting hovel of his. There were a few ponies a while back coming to knock on the large, white garage door of Smokes to see what was really inside. But Smoke doesn't really take to kindly to others, so he just shooed them away and told them to never come back.
