When Celestia disappears, her kingdom is left suddenly vulnerable to daunting forces from outside of Equestria intent on seizing the resources, the crown, and even the Elements of Harmony themselves. Thrust out of their home and into a place beyond of soaring achievement, staggering numbers, and things they don't understand, Twilight and her friends realize the true scope and nature of things, and that not even the Elements of Harmony can take on a whole planet alone. Struggling through a world much greater than they are, they come to understand that to restore their precious order and save their lost home, one course of action alone presents itself: making new friends.
