My Little Epic
Boom
Load Full StoryToday is a beautiful, sunny day in Ponyville. Everypony was having a very good day in the land of peace, but one of them was in a frantic mood. Soaring through the air wasn’t a bird, wasn’t a plane, but a pegasus. A blue and rainbow pegasus. A pegasus like no other. A true friend. A 20% kooler than anyone else pegasus. A sometimes arrogant pegasus. Her name is known all around Equestria. She is… really awesome. She is…
Rainbow Dash.
And today she was going to perform her best stunt ever. The Sonic Rainboom. She hoped that all of her other friends could watch, but they were all busy. Twilight Sparkle was either writing a letter to Princess Celestia about what she learned about friendship or learning some more magic. Pinkie Pie was busy making cakes (more like eating them; that fat piece of shit). Rarity couldn’t come to watch because she was in the middle of making yet another dress (and another and another). Applejack wished she could see Rainbow Dash’s awesome Sonic Rainboom stunt, but she had to collect apples for her family. And finally, Fluttershy had to take the ducklings to some random pond.
(Friends can be lazy cunts. Maybe that’s what Twilight is writing to the princess.)
The blue pegasus didn’t want her friends to miss out, but at the same time she was dying to make her amazing feat. The thought of not having any support from her friends brought her exciting mood down. As she flew down into one of the fields near the town, she said to herself, “Maybe I should wait until all of my friends are done with their things.” But the adrenaline rushed through her body, intensifying her hunger for action. “Ya know what? Screw Twilight, and Pinkie, Rarity, Apple, and Flutters. If they can’t see me do the Sonic Rainboom, then they are missing out on a lot. I don’t need their support, I can do this all by myself. And I AM going to do it by myself!” Then she sighed, putting on her game face. “Alright Dashie, you can do this.” She planted her hoofs to the ground and stretched her wings outwards. And she took off into the heavens.
As soon as she could see all of Ponyville, as soon as she touched the high sky, as soon as she saw Pony Heaven and Pony Jesus, she was ready. With confidence and determination all built up in her, the pegasus descended with full force.
She was picking up speed every second and the wind was blowing harder and harder. The power of her flight grew more powerful until…
BOOM!
