My Little Dragon: Operation: Shut-Up

Twilight hums a bit as she cleans up her new library. The place was nearly torn down due to the Alicorn's practice with the weapon that was given to her by Andrew. Fortunately, this place is easily fixed.

Twilight grins, finishing up while saying, "Done...and not a moment to spare...I wonder what else I could do today..."

Twilight pauses, glancing at a very familiar machine: her Universal Viewer that the mare has used to view other universes many times before. The Alicorn smiles as she put her tools away then trots over to the Universal Viewer, activating it.

"May as well see what the Dragons versions of me and my friends are doing." Twilight chuckles as she uses her Universal Viewer to check on the Draogn versions of herself and her friends...

It was another day in Dragonville. Spike the Alicorn was concentrating on helping his Mind Dragon friend Twilight out with something. The Dragon herself is anxious on trying out a new spell that could be something useful...or something silly.

"Come on, Twilight. I know you could do it." Spike assures his best friend/sister anxiously.

"Right, get ready." Twilight said, breathing in and out. The Mind Dragon can do this.

Twilight squeezes her shut tight and performs her magic, the Dragon glows a bit. Suddenly Spike's nose and chin glows a bit...and without warning a black mustache came out of it. The Alicorn smiles eagerly. His Dragon friend has succeeded in her mustache spell!

"All right, you did it!" Spike laughs eagerly as he goes over to a checklist on an easel to check out an entry, "Growing magic, number 25. Whoa! That's 25 different types of tricks and you're doing good, baby!"

Twilight couldn't help but give herself an embarrass little smile. It's true. The Mind Dragon's magic has been doing good lately. Who knows? She could be better as Princess Sun Dragon herself!"

"Got to say, this trick is the best one so far. Hello, Rarity? What's that? Nah, nothing new. Just my awesome mustache," Spike remarks, pretending to be speaking to his love Rarity, chuckling while stroking his mustache. Won't the white Mind Dragon be happy to see him?

"Right, sorry, Romeo. Although you look attractive and enticing, this is for practice only. Your mustache got to go." Twilight said seriously. She's right, this is for practice and the Mind Dragon doesn't want her Alicorn assistant to go around town, looking silly with that mustache.

"Hang on!" Spike protests but he's too late. One magic zap later and the mustache is gone, much to the Alicorn's disappointment. "Aw, man!"

Twilight laughs softly. Her assistant can be so silly.

Twilight smiles as she and Spike head down the streets of Dragonville. The two were talking about Twilight's success as if what the Dragon did was the most exciting thing ever to come into this town since the brother-sister team first decided to first live here in the first place.

"Wow, 25...25 different kinds of tricks and you're still counting!" Spike exclaims impressed. "To be honest, I thought Mind Dragons got a little magic to matches their special talents.

"Yes, true. There are Dragons who got talents for certain things...but what if a Mind Dragon's special talent like me is magic?" Twilight points out to Spike thoughtfully.

"Yeah, like you! And you have tons of magic!"

"Ha ha ha! Come on, stop it, Spike. There has to be more a lot of Dragons right me that knows as much about magic as I do!"

"What, you kidding, right?" Spike asks Twilight as if the Mind Dragon just told him a dumb joke. "There can't be any Mind Dragon in all of Draconia who has your kind of ability, not in a million years!"

"Move it, coming through!" A voice yells out. The two saw two little Mind Dragons flying fast as if wanting to get somewhere in a big hurry. One of them is bucked-toothed and light blue-green, has yellow-brown hair...and the other is taller and thinner than his pal, yellow-tan with birdcatcher spots near his eyes and an equally unkempt light green hair that are slightly longer than his counterpart. Twilight and Spike know these two as Snips and Snails, two students at the local school.

The two almost knock Twilight's hair sideways and Spike finds himself being bulldozed onto Snips's head. The Alicorn manages to get off, exclaiming, "Whoa, whoa! Snips, Snails! Where's the fire?!"

"What, you didn't hear?" Snails ask Spike excitedly as he and his pal Snips stop nearby.

"Uh, no, what?"

"There is a new Mind Dragon who just came into town!"

"Yeah, yeah," Snips exclaims, flying up and down excitedly. This little Dragon definitely drank too much caffeine this more. "Why, they said that she got more magical powers than other Mind Dragons in Draconia!"

"Really," Twilight ask in surprise as she approaches the two Mind Dragons along with Spike who rubs his head. If there's another Mind Dragon, maybe now there's a chance that she have some Dragon to associate in her magic.

"Oh please! That honor belongs to Twilight!" Spike scoffs a bit, making Twilight smile and blush in embarrassment.

"So where's the new Mind Dragon? I wish to meet her."

"She's in the town square, let's go!" Snails exclaims while flying off excitedly.

"Right, come on!" Snips exclaims while following his pal with an excited yell. Twilight and Spike race after the two. They got to see who this new Mind Dragon is and if she's powerful that the duo claimed her to be!

Twilight and Spike arrives at city hall as a crowd is there, gathering in front of a trailer. The new Mind Dragon must be riding in it. The two friends make their way to the front where the rest of their pals, AKA Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are at, obviously wanting to meet this new Mind Dragon as well.

As Twilight and Spike came to the front, a female spoke out, sounding dramatic and over the top, "Everyone, come on and all! Witness the amazing magic of the Great and Powerful Trixie!!!"

Suddenly the trailer transforms, turning into some sort of stage with a curtain, the two ends reveals three brass horns mounted on each, the roof pops up to show some overheard scenery with a rocket, planet and stars, spiral, stars and a magic wand. The crowd jumps back as a blast of glittering magic smoke appears. Once it clears, everyone saw a bright blue Mind Dragon smiling at the crowd, with her hair two lighters shades of blue. She's wearing a blue-violet wizard's hat and cape covered with stars, the cape is being held by a jeweled brooch at her throat. The Mind Dragon has a vivid shade of violet eyes.

Trixie with a smirk made a pose, caused the crowd to look awe as she exclaims, "Now watch in awe as the Great and Powerful Trixie performs the most spectaculars fears of magic that no Dragon has ever seen before!!!"

"Yeah, a braggart," Spike remarks dryly, making Twilight frowns. Modesty is obviously not in Trixie's dictionary.

Fireworks pop out from the stage. Trixie is expecting an applause of sorts...though Rarity isn't impressed.

"Ugh, what boasting," Rarity remarked. The Dragon rolled her eyes in annoyance by Trixie's boasting.

"Right, no Dragon is magical as Twi..." Spike stopped as he realized whom he's talking to: Rarity! This could be his chance, "Twi, Twi...oh...heh heh...Hey, Rarity, uh...mustache?"

Spike felt embarrassed as he galloped off. As Twilight came over, she looked concerned as the Dragon asked, "Is there anything wrong with being talented?"

"Of course not, don't be silly," Pinkie exclaimed to Twilight with a giggle.

"Yeah...except when some Dragon goes around, showing off like a school lizard wit' fancy new ribbons." Applejack remarked with a frown, glancing as Trixie used her magic breath to make flowers appear.

"Right. I mean, just because one has the ability to perform a lot of magic, that doesn't mean she is better than the rest of us." Rarity said dryly.

"Plus, it would give Dragons the wrong idea...if that's okay to say." Fluttershy said meekly.

Twilight hunched down, hoping that Trixie wouldn't see her. Rainbow remarked, "Yeah, especially when you got me around being better than all of us!" Of course, the Storm Dragon saw Applejack giving a death glare at her. That changed her tune. "Err, yeah, I mean...magic, schmagic; BOOOO!!!"

"What's this?" Trixie asked, glaring at the Dragons giving some disapproval. "Do I sense doubters in the crowd; Who would dare to be so ignorant that they would challenge the powers from the one known as the Great and Powerful Trixie?!"

Twilight and company looked disgusted, annoyed and confused...while Snips and Snails just looking awed. Trixie, of course, kept on talking as if the stares didn't matter to her, "Why, don't they know that they are in front of the most powerful Mind Dragon is all of Draconia?"

"Ha, give me a break!" Rarity exclaimed in disgust at this. "I mean, what gave her the right to boast like that?"

"Right, every Dragon knows that the most powerful one here is Twi..." Spike was about to say Twilight's name, but the Mind Dragon covered his mouth quickly.

"Spike, no! A word," Twilight shushed Spike as she moved him away from the crowd. The Mind Dragon wants to have a private chat with her Alicorn assistant.

"Come on, what gives, Twilight?" Spike asked Twilight with a frown. "I was about to..."

"Don't you see how they reacted to Trixie? I can't let folks think I'm showing off." Twilight insisted frantically to Spike. If she even tried to one-up Trixie here, prove her wrong, then the Mind Dragon would be showing off and offending her new friends! Twilight doesn't want that, especially not after friends for so long.

Soon, more fireworks came from the stage, much to the two's attention. Rainbow frowned as she flew up onto stage, snapping, "So 'Great and Powerful Trixie', what makes you think you're so awesome, huh?"

Trixie scoffed a bit, holding up a claw as if to counter what Rainbow just said, "Well, isn't it obvious? The Great and Powerful Trixie's magic was able to defeat...pause for dramatic effect...the dread URSA MAJOR!"

The Dragons gasp in surprise as fireworks came out of the horn, decorating the sky. It shows a huge bear that has a starburst on its forehead, its head and tail moves as if this was a neon sign. An Ursa Major is a powerful creature! Rarely anyone could beat it!

"Really," Snips asked in surprise and amazement.

"No way," Snails exclaimed, squealing like a little fan boy.

"Just as all hope appears to be around, the Dragons of Clawington got no one to turn to." Trixie bragged once more. Soon, a Trixie outline appeared, approaching and preparing to fight the Ursa Major. It dodged the swipes and fired a spell, causing it to disappear. "But the Great and Powerful Trixie stepped in! With the help of her awesome magic, the Ursa Major was send back to its cave once and for all! Heading right back into the Everfree Forest from where it came from."

"Awesome," Snips and Snails exclaimed eagerly. These two Dragons are the only ones hooked by what Trixie is saying.

"That proves it!" Snips laughed stupidly and eagerly.

Snails gestured to Trixie, standing proudly, and said, "Trixie must be the most talented, magical and awesome Mind Dragon ever in Dragonville!"

"No!" Snips exclaimed eagerly, appearing next to his buddy. "In all of Draconia, even!"

Twilight looks worried. Yeah, Trixie is a show-off and may seems not to be much of a powerful Dragon...but what if the newcomer decides to try to prove herself by challenging Twilight?

Spike scoffs ass he snaps to Snips and Snails, "Come on, how would you two even know? You didn't see it? Besides, Twi..." But before the Alicorn could finish, Twilight frantically zips his mouth with her magic. She can't let him give Trixie any ideas!

"Correct, it's true, my aweing little admirers, for Trixie is indeed the best in all of Dragonville!" Trixie brags. Of course, she notes the crowd giving her skeptic looks as if saying 'really'. "Oh? Do you not believe the Great and Powerful Trixie? Well, then, I'm giving you a challenge to you Dragons. Anything you can do, I can do better. Anyone interested? Anyone, hmmm; or perhaps you are all cowards and prefer to let Trixie be destined to be the greatest Dragon ever?"

More fireworks shot into the air. The Dragons stay still, not seemingly going forward to try to one-up Trixie at all. Spike manages to unzip his lip and throws himself at Twilight's feet. She can't just stand there and let this boaster continue on like this!

"Twilight, come on, Trixie is being a pest, she needs to be taught a lesson!" Spike pleads to Twilight in concern. This blowhard needs to be taught one lesson in humility!

"Spike, no way! I am not using my magic now, especially..." Twilight begins to say softly to Spike, trying to reason as to why she couldn't do what she herself must do to stop Trixie.

"Hmmm, how about...you," Trixie ask, scanning the crowd and points. Twilight gulps in fear as if the new Mind Dragon is pointing at her! Not good. "So how about, hmmm; you think you can do something that the Great and Powerful Trixie cannot?" Trixie asks as she goes to the edge of the stage and towards Twilight.

"Well, I...uh..." Twilight said nervously. Not good. Trixie is challenging her! She's...

"Well, hayseed Dragon?"

Twilight calms down as she realizes that Trixie is actually talking to Applejack...and the Worker Dragon isn't pleased by the lack of respect that this boasting mind Dragon is saying to her.

"All right, 'dat's it! I ain't standing fer anymore!" Applejack fumes angrily as she flies up to the stage. Time for her to show this Mind Dragon what a Worker Dragon like Applejack can do!

"Yeah, rub it in, AJ!" Spike cheers for Applejack. Of course, most of him wishes that it was Twilight one-uping this upstart Mind Dragon but his friend can do for now.

"Can yer magical powers 'da 'dis?"

Every Dragon watch as Applejack does some tricks with some ropes, holding her rope while hosting the loop clear of the boards, working it forward and backward.

"Ooooh." The crowd said in amazement. Applejack smirks as she uses her Dragon strength to russle up some cows successful. The crowd cheers wildly in approval.

"How about topping 'dat, missy," Applejack mocks Trixie with a smirk.

Trixie just chuckles as her hat begins to glow a bit due to her magic, "Oh, you of so little faith. And you called yourself a Dragon?" The hat is lifted as she continues, "Watch and be amazed at Trixie's magic!"

Suddenly Trixie uses her magic to bring the rope under her control, causing it to come to life. The rope itself then ties up its own 'doggy'...along with Applejack and, to more humiliation, a bull! The Worker Dragon screams in alarm as she got pulled away by the freaked out bull that is shocked big time.

"Heh heh heh; Looks like Trixie has caught this 'stubborn bull' by the horns," Trixie taunts in amusement, making the crowd laughs and cheers, though they felt sorry for Applejack's humiliation like that.

"Come on, there's need to show off like that!" Rainbow scoffs to Trixie in annoyance by what she did to Applejack.

"Is that so?"

"Yeah, stop stealing my job, lady!"

Rainbow flew fast into the air, causing a windmill to spin very fast as she grabs one vane. The machine pitches her upward as she lets go. The Storm Dragon proceeds in punching holes through a lot of clouds, hovering before the sun so that it silhouettes her form. Rainbow then made a screaming dive through the holes that she punched through back to the small windmill, causing a few droplets of moisture to follow her.

Rainbow smirks as she repeats the grab/release maneuver before being sent right back to the stage, sliding to a stop while a few trialing droplets scatter off her back, causing a small rainbow to form over her head.

"Yeah; they don't call me 'Rainbow' and 'Dash' for nothing!" Rainbow exclaims with a laugh. The crowd cheers once more for the display...of course, Trixie remains unimpressed or concerned by this.

"Well, once Trixie is done with you...they will call you a 'loser'." Trixie remarks in amusement and mockingly.

Trixie send a beam into a cloud...and it creates a downpour storm all over Rainbow, sending Lightning to strike and electrocuted the Storm Dragon from the wet part. Her friends cringes at this, Trixie is practically torturing the Rainbow who stays tough to handle it since being a tough Dragon.

"Is that the best you can do?" Rainbow remarks to Trixie...before falling right off the stage and onto her back into the dirt, her eyes are jittering while her body is bent upward big time.

"Well, even a Dragon with a dash of good sense would think twice before challenging the Great Trixie." Trixie taunts Rainbow as she throws another burst that causes the storm to zap the Storm Dragon in the butt, causing her to yelp in pain before she flew off to the returning untied Applejack and the crowd. Rainbow felt humiliated when the crowd laughs at this.

"Any other Dragon wants to challenge Trixie; Hmmm?"

"My turn," Pinkie exclaims as she got onto the stage with her party cannon. "You think you're all that, Miss Tricky Meanie Pants, but can you do this?"

Pinkie quickly activates her party cannon, setting up party decorations all over the stage; When all is done, the whole area looks like the Worker Dragon is setting up the whole area to be one huge party.

"Ha ha ha; who's laughing now?" Pinkie asks Trixie in amusement.

Without warning however, Trixie proceeds in using her magic. Pinkie yelps as her own party cannon is turned against her, causing the poor Dragon to be blasted and dangle off in town as part of the decoration. Trixie, satisfied, remarks, "Why, that would be me; Ha ha ha."

"What we need is another Mind Dragon to challenge her!" Spike indeed, elbowing Twilight in the leg, "Perhaps someone who has magic of her own, hmmm?"

"Right, one who can show this Mind Dragon whose boss," Rainbow exclaims, upset by the humiliation. So far, the attempts to teach Trixie a lesson in humility had failed...but so far, it's the Dragons who are being humiliated!

"One who can give a real Mind Dragon to Mind Dragon rumble," Applejack exclaims in agreement. Spike gave a look of expectantly to Twilight. She got to do this and avenge her friends' humiliation.

Twilight gulps as she begins to speak, "Well..."

"Enough, hang on. Enough, I take your hint but Rarity is above such nonsense!" Rarity scoffs a bit. Twilight sighs a bit. At least her friend Rarity thinks that her friends are preferring to! "Rainbow, Applejack and Pinkie could behave like foolish lizards but Rarity conducts herself with beauty and grace."

"Oh, what's wrong? Scared that you will get a hair out of place? Oh, is that even your hair? I thought you're hiding a rat's nest on your head!" Trixie mocks Rarity. Needless to say, the Mind Dragon's mean words are enough to tick off Rarity big time. No one dares say that to her.

"Oh...it is on..." Rarity remarks furiously as she got onto stage. The mare proceed in circling Trixie as she regains the bulk of her composure. "So think you are so tough with your 'powers'? Well, there is more to magic than acting like a brute! A Mind Dragon like me prefers to need more than just mere muscle." The white Mind Dragon proceeds in using her magic to make a curtain come off its rod. "Why, she needs to have style!"

The cloth is wrapped around Rarity carefully. A while later, the crowd is amazed as the fashion Dragon is now wearing a blue grown trimmed in gold, leaving her legs bare and her hair is styled into a tall bouffant. Rarity smirks in success. Trixie has to be beaten if she can't do that!

The crowd went 'oooh' as Rarity adds, "Yes, a Mind Dragon is not one without grace and beauty."

"Well, that proves it, Rarity won't let Trixie get the best of her." Spike said with a sigh of lovestruck. But the Alicorn fails to see Trixie smirks devilishly as she prepares for a spell, sending out a green flame that poofs right onto the white Mind Dragon. "She's strong, beautiful and she's..."

Suddenly Spike looks jaw-dropped and stunned as Rarity, alarmed, calls out, "QUICK! A MIRROR! SOME DRAGON GIVES ME A MIRROR! What did she do to my hair?! I know that witch did something to my hair."

"Nothing, nothing; you're fine." Twilight said, trying her best not laugh.

"It's fine, really." Rainbow said, trying not to laugh either.

"Shucks, it's gorgeous." Applejack said, trying her best to fib a little.

"It's nice." Fluttershy said to Rarity awkwardly.

"It's green!" Spike exclaims quickly, making the others frown at him. They were trying to spare Rarity the humiliation! "What?"

Sure enough, Rarity's hair is a big mess! It is now green and a big nest, with a twig and a few berries, along with a couple of tails that appear to look like that of rat's! Trixie decided to act on her 'rat's nest' crack and gave the Mind Dragon's hair a real one.

"No, no! NOT GREEN HAIR! UGH! NOT GREEN HAIR!" Rarity screams in terror, sobbing as she flew through the crowd in humiliation. "That color is soooo awful!"

"Well!" Golden Harvest, whose hair is green rather than its orange color, snaps at Rarity, offended by the remark.

"Well, I would do it...but I'm too shy to try." Fluttershy said shyly. She is also worried that Trixie would also humiliate the poor Storm Dragon should Fluttershy tried to challenge her.

"Twilight, it's up to you now." Spike said to Twilight as Trixie smiles as she coughs a bit while blowing some dust off of one hood. "Come on! At least show Trixie what you're made of! I know you can do it."

"What do you mean? I ain't special." Twilight said with a nervous smile, mostly because of the crowd looking at her as if expecting the Mind Dragon to challenge Trixie to avenge her friends.

"Come on, you are! You are better than this braggart!"

"I am not better than anyone!"

""Wow, you must feel more shyer than I am." Fluttershy said, blinking as she is not understanding the root of Twilight's problem.

"Well, well. You think you're better than the Great and Powerful Trixie? Think you have more magical talent?" Trixie taunts Twilight as she approach the edge of the stage, close enough to glower over the boards at the frightened Twilight and her determined baby Alicorn friend. The newcomer overheard the conversion and is amused by this. "Well, come on! Show Trixie what you got, show us all!"

Twilight gulps as she sees the crowd looking at her more now. The Mind Dragon can't do it. She got more magic to prove Trixie wrong...but if Twilight even tries to, she will only be labeled as a braggart by her friends like they did to Trixie herself!

"What, me? No, no, just your average, boring citizen of Dragonville...err, no powerful magic. I...I think my laundry's calling! Sorry got to go!" Twilight exclaims nervously. To the confusion of the other Dragons and Spike's disappointment, the Mind Dragon quickly flew off quickly. Why isn't she even going to consider challenging Trixie and avenge her pals? Doesn't Twilight even care?

"Twilight," Spike ask in concern and worry.

"Once again, the Great and Powerful Trixie is proven to be the most amazing Mind Dragon all over Draconia!" Trixie taunted in amusement as she sighs, heading off. "Was there ever any doubt?"

The onlookers disperse. While Trixie's magic tricks were great, her boasting and her humiliating most of the Twilight's friends were not. Spike glares in disapproval at the leaving Trixie. There's got to be some way to teach her a lesson in humility...

Later, in her trailer, Trixie was combing her hair in front of a mirror.

"Trixie, you are a powerful Dragon." Trixie remarked with a chuckle. She had outwitted them all. No Dragon can be powerful as she is.

Just then, Snips's tail came into the window of her trailer, holding a tray with a beverage while speaking, "Got the smoothie you asked for...with extra gems; Just like you wanted it!"

"Gems," Snails exclaimed eagerly. Trixie shrugs as she took the tray and sips her drinks. These two are morons but after today, they wait for her on claw and foot.

Trixie noticed that Snips and Snails are staring at her like sick fanboys. The Mind Dragon frowns impatiently as she asks, "Yes? What is it?"

"Can you tell us another story, oh Great and Powerful Trixie?" Snips asked Trixie like an obedient slave.

"Right, like how you defeated the Ursa Major!" Snails exclaimed with a stupid nod.

Trixie sighed in annoyance. As much as the Mind Dragon enjoyed the Dragons' admiration towards her as well as their dedication, even she is getting annoyed by this.

"Trixie is too tired from performing feats beyond imagination to tell stories right now." Trixie snapped impatiently at the two. "Now be gone with you both until morning!"

"Of course," Snails said as he and his partner in anything bow and back off. "As you wish, Great and Powerful Trixie."

"Anything you want, you got it. We are at your beck and call." Snails said with a stupid smile.

Trixie groaned in disgust. The two nitwits don't get the hint that she wanted nothing to do with them.

As Snips and Snails headed out, a familiar voice spoke up, "Okay, what are you two doing?" The two Dragons saw Spike nearby, giving a frown. Trixie had caused enough danger without needing servants to feed her ego!

"Oh, just giving the G and P T a..." Snips began to say.

"Wait, what now?" Spike asked confused, wondering what Snips is referring to.

"Great and Powerful Trixie, duh," Snips explained with a nod, much to Spike's chagrin.

"Oh, geez," Spike groaned a bit. Typical!

"Just getting her a smoothie," Snips comments, not noticing Spike's annoyed look.

"I find it hard to believe that you two would fall for whatever it is she's saying." Spike remarked with a grunt. "Wait, I take it back. I do believe that. That Dragon is nothing more than a huge showoff! Now Twilight, she..."

"Hey, the Great and Powerful Trixie took on an Ursa Major and defeated it, pony!" Snips snapped angrily at Spike, getting into his face. The stupid Mind Dragon doesn't like the fact that the baby Alicorn is saying that about his idol. "Can your Twilight do that, huh?"

"Let me ask you something, were you two there?" Spike asked the two Dragons dryly.

"Well, uh, uh, well, uh..." Snips said as he and Snails look onward, dumbstruck. The truth is, they haven't seen Trixie defeat an Ursa Major...but if she said it, it must be true, right?

"Ha, yeah; the proof is in the pudding!" Spike exclaimed with a smirk of triumph, believing that he really show these two nitwits.

"I like pudding with gems!" Snails exclaimed stupidly, obviously missing the point.

Spike slapped himself in annoyance as he spoke, "Look, you two. There's no way that I will ever believe a word Trixie says, and neither should you; the only way that would even happen if an Ursa Major were to come into Dragonville for her to even defeat!"

"Say, an Ursa coming into town?" Snips asked with a devilish smirk. The Mind Dragon got an idea to prove this doubting pony wrong once and for all, "Hey, Snails! Thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Yeah...but aren't fanmakes just ripoffs?" Snails asked his colleague confused.

"Right, uh...oh come on!" Snips groaned a bit as he motions his colleague to head on.

The two Mind Dragons quickly head on their way. Spike groaned as he shook his head. The Alicorn got a bad feeling about this!

Twilight was reading a book at the library. The Mind Dragon wants to just forget what happened today and move onward. Spike is trying his best to get her to listen, trying to reason with his friend that she should use her magic to help her friends, not be a braggart like Trixie.

"Come on, put that book down and listen." Spike said to Twilight, getting frustrated.

"Spike, don't you see? They hated Trixie's bragging! What would happen if I show off my own magic?" Twilight ask Spike in worry, fearing the worst. "I don't want to lose my friends forever."

"Not the same thing, okay? Using magic to stand up for your friends is different than being a braggart."

"No, it's exactly the same!"

"Come on, can't any of your new tricks, even the teeniest, be enough to show up Trixie?" Spike insists as he points to the list of magic tricks that Twilight had done so far. One of them must be enough to stand up to Trixie, right?

"I rather not be seen as a bragger like Trixie is, okay?!" Twilight snaps as she made a door, frame and all, appears in front of Spike and slams it shut as if closing the matter. Spike reopens it, groaning as he kept on with the discussion. The baby Alicorn isn't going to give up that easily!

"Come on, you're the best..."

"For the last time, Spike, no; Drop the subject, it's over, done with!!!"

"Fine, if you want to be that way...fine!" Spike groans in despair and frustration. He can't believe his best friend is not willing to do what's right all because she's scared of being seen as a braggart like Trixie is!

Spike slams the door shut as if leaving...but Twilight roll her eyes as if saying 'really, Spike'? The Alicorn opens it again and quickly walks across the room without looking at her. The Mind Dragon drops her head as she shakes it in concern. Why can't Spike ever get it that she doesn't want to use her magic?

Snips and Snails got one great idea...or rather a very stupid one. They head into one of the gloomier areas of the Everfree Forest, going through the overgrowth, nervous but determined. If the two could find an Ursa Major and bring it back to Dragonville, then maybe Trixie will vanquish it and Spike will be proven wrong about her. It's a brilliant plan!

Snips and Snails enter a cave that is big enough to fit them either way. The two looks around, the cave gets darker and darker but they can see their own eyes gleaming in the darkness.

"Uh, how are we going to find an Ursa Major? I can't see my claw in front of my face." Snips complains to his friend stupidly.

"Hang on..." Snails mumble as he begins to work on getting a magic light going. It sounds like an engine turning over. After the two first tries that frizzle out, the third attempt holds.

"Okay, cool! Now..."

Suddenly the two Dragons heard an angry roar, causing them to turn and yelp in alarm. They saw a couple of clawed toes attached to a huge twinkling blue body...and it is a huge bear creature that looks like it was sleeping. It red eyes with orange whites looks angry as the monster stood up, growling furiously at the two intruders. The Ursa Major is awake and he is not happy, especially from his bare teeth.

Snips and Snails scream in terror as the mad Ursa Major roars in fury. Perhaps it was a bad idea to get him!

Spike groans in frustration as he kicks a rock while going through the Dragonville park; He can't believe Twilight won't do the right thing...doesn't she even care? There must be some way to convince the Mind Dragon that she can use her magic to help her friends and not be seen as a bragging brat like Trixie is.

As Spike tries to think, his focus was broken by two familiar Mind Dragons who flew past him screaming. He spoke, "Hey guys. Where are you going?"

"Can't talk, flying!" Snips explains to Spike frantically.

"Yeah, we got a big problem!" Snails explain to Spike who looks concerned by that.

"As in an Ursa Major to be exact!"

Wait, an Ursa Major, seriously? Are these two serious? Suddenly Spike yelps as he hears a not so distant roar that made him flew up into the sky. The Alicorn turns and saw a huge Ursa, looking seriously ticked off, making his eyes widened and his jaw going slack.

"Whoa!" Spike yelps. He flew away in time to avoid being stomped by a gigantic paw. What did those two numbskulls do now?!

Speaking of the dummies in question, Snips and Snails flew off in the distraction of Trixie's trailer, yelling frantically, "TRIXIE!!"

"TWILIGHT," Spike screams as he gallops towards the direction of the library. There's only one Mind Dragon who can save all of Dragonville now.

Outside of Dragonville, trees fell over as the Ursa continues going through a rampage through the woodlands, birds flew off quickly. The two Dragons who were responsible for it being here rush to the door of Trixie's trailer; its top half's open and pound on it like mad. Trixie got to defeat the Ursa again like she did the last time, right?

"Trixie, help; you got to help us!" Snips exclaims frantically to the door.

"Yeah, come out, Trixie, come on!" Snails calls into the trailer like mad.

Trixie appears at the top door, looking crossed and annoyed and without her hat and cape on to boot. These two dumb Dragons better have a good reason to interrupt her at this time!

"Didn't Trixie say that the Great and Powerful Trixie must not be disturbed?!" Trixie scowls angrily at her two local yet very annoying fans.

"Err, yeah, we have...err, a tiny problem." Snips laughs nervously to Trixie.

"More like a big one." Snails said with a stupid quick nod.

Trixie sighs in irritation as she spoke, "What is so important that you can't wait until morning to disturb Trixie?!"

Trixie got her answer...the heart-stopping way as she heard the Ursa's bellow...the monster is approaching town, down on all fours and tall as the houses on either side of the thing. Its next roar was so loud that it causes the Mind Dragon to swing the bottom half of her door opens, knocking away the two morons...and causes Trixie to scream in a panic. Snips and Snails got up and run like crazy, just in time to avoid a paw that stomps the trailer into pieces. That was a close one.

As Twilight reads on in her library, Spike rushes into the library, yelling, "Twilight, you got to come help and quick!"

Twilight sighs in annoyance as she spoke, "Spike, for the last time, I am not going to show up Trixie."

"No, you don't understand! That's not it! It's..."

A roar interrupts what Spike was going to say, making Twilight's eyes widen as the building got shaken like mad. Hoo boy; The Mind Dragon can already realize what that roar belong to.

"Err, is that what I think it is?" Twilight ask Spike nervously.

"Yep, majorly," Spike said with a slow nod. Looks like Twilight will have to cut her reading short.

Trixie's group stood in the town square, looking freaked out as the Ursa is coming at them slowly. Snips and Snails looks excited as they stood on either side of their idol. This is Trixie's chance to show that she's the real deal once and for all and prove Spike wrong at last!

"Great and Powerful Trixie, you've got to defeat the Ursa!" Snips exclaims to Trixie eagerly, making her nervous for some reason.

"Right, defeat it so we can watch." Snails said with a nod. Trixie looks nervously as she looks at the Ursa drooling salvia from its jaws. What is that thing even doing here anyway?!

"Yeah! We went through a lot of trouble just to get that thing here."

"Wait, you brought it here?!" Trixie demands to Snips and Snails in shock and disbelief. Those two nitwits went and endanger Dragonville...just so she could defeat the Ursa?! "Are you two out of your minds?! What were you thinking?!"

Snips and Snails looks more confused than usual. They thought Trixie would be eager to prove herself. Snips spoke up, "Err, but you're the Great and Powerful Trixie, right?"

"Right, remember? You defeated an Ursa Major!" Snails exclaims in agreement.

Trixie yelps as the Ursa made a roar that almost blew the Dragons' wings right off. The Mind Dragon knew that her stories would come to bite her in the tail. Looks like Trixie has no choice but to do this...

"Right...her stand back." Trixie said nervously. Quickly, she casts a spell, using a rope that the Mind Dragon used to defeat Applejack to come out of a vase and wrap around the Ursa's body. Trixie sighs in relief, giving out a smile, "Piece of cake."

Or so Trixie had thought. But the Mind Dragon has only succeeded in bounding two of the digits on one of the Ursa's forepaw. In annoyance, the monster snaps them loose without trouble, much to Snips and Snails's worry and disbelief; Why didn't it work?!

"Hey, Trixie, come on!" Snips exclaims. Trixie should've beaten this Ursa, not messing around!

"Right, stop going and start beating it!" Snails remarks in agreement.

Trixie gulps, shuddering a bit. Quickly, the Mind Dragon summons a storm cloud and send out lightning in hopes to knock out the Ursa that way...but it only hits the monster's tail. All it did was annoyed the big bear like mad.

"Well, that's a dud." Snails said in disappointment.

"Yeah, come on, Trixie, what gives?" Snips ask Trixie who is getting more nervous. "What happened to all those cool explosions, smoke and all that stuff, huh? Stop messing with us!"

Lightning hit the beast right in the bump, leaving a charred patch of fur but didn't do much good at all. The Ursa growls as it attacks. Trixie quickly uses its make to turn the monster green in hope to freak it out...but all she did was make it madder causing the Ursa to swipe at the Mind Dragons who dodges the attack in time. Trixie frantically send out decorations in hopes to get the Ursa stuck...but it broke free and roars as it opens its huge jaws.

"Uh oh," Trixie said nervously and scared. This isn't good.

The Ursa roars in rage, causing the Dragons to rush away in a panic. Lights are turned on all over Dragonville. This is due to the fact that the Ursa's attack is ruining their sleep. The crowd came out, pondering what's going, only to see the Ursa chomping into a roof, causing them to scream and fly away in a panic. A monster is attacking Dragonville!

It didn't take long for Twilight, Spike riding on her back, to fly in to inspect what's going. The Mind Dragon spots Trixie's group, causing her to stop and lands near them, calling out, "Hey, what's going on?!"

"We brought an Ursa into town!" Snips laughs stupidly, making Twilight's eyes widen in shock and disbelief.

"You did what; where were you two thinking?!"

"Nah, not to worry; The Great and Powerful Trixie will defeat it." Snails insist to Twilight with a stupid smile, "She beaten the Ursa before, right Trixie?"

Trixie begins to look nervous, looking down sadly. What she said next, surprised the other Mind Dragons, "Err, I can't."

"What," Snips and Snails ask Trixie in surprise and confusion. Why won't she beat the Ursa?

"I can't...and I never did! No one can beat an Ursa Major, I only made that story up to make me look better, okay?!"

"Made it up?!"

So the truth's revealed: Trixie's story of the Ursa Major was a fake all along! She is nothing more than a lying braggart. And as it's not bad enough, the mad Ursa towers over a nearby house, twice its height, practically blocking the moon. It seems no one can beat it!

Everyone looked concerned as they watched the Ursa preparing for its next attack. Even Twilight was worried as the Ursa stood up and roar, which can be heard throughout the area. Spike elbowed his big sister seriously. Like it or not, the Mind Dragon must do what must be right to save everyone from the Ursa.

Twilight looked uncertain but closed her eyes before opening them again in determination. Spike's right, everyone needed her help.

Twilight flew up to Ursa, stopping in front of him. As she closed her eyes again, the Mind Dragon then summoned a wind that began blowing flags on the roofs and boughs on the trees.

The air began making some sort of soft, humming melody that goes through one of the Ursa's ears and out the other. Sure enough, the creature begins to get tired, beginning to rock side from side as if being rock to sleep.

"Whoa...nice use of number 16," Spike said, giving a hoof-ups of approval.

Twilight isn't done just yet. Once she made the wind stop, the Mind Dragon uses her magic to get a water tower's tank off from its place, dumping its water over and causing the top two sections to float over a tract of farmland...and right towards an open bar. The tank body goes through while the top goes past.

The Dragons look surprised as they heard cows being milked, making them yelp. One of them yelled out, "Golly, dontcha know!"

Soon, the body, filled with milk, came out of the bank as the top is put back on the top of the thing as if like a baby's bottle.

"Okay, that's new." Spike said impressed at what appears to be Twilight's new trick.

Trixie yelped as the Ursa was about to fall onto her in his dazed state. Fortunately for the lying braggart, Twilight managed to get it back up still, though getting a bit strained. The Ursa, placid, was hovered off the ground, floating up several yards on its back and pick up the tank, drinking it as if like a baby bottle.

The Dragon looked speechless as the huge beast was drifted slowly out of town and right back into its cave that Snips and Snails took him out of. It's like being rocked like a little baby.

Once the Ursa is gone, Twilight let her powers wind down and almost collapses. The Mind Dragon gasped for air, waiting for the crowd's response. To her surprise, she heard cheering as the crowd gathered around her.

"Wow, unbelievable!" Rainbow exclaimed with a smirk to her friend.

"That was amazing!" Spike exclaimed eagerly.

"Way much as better than the original," Pinkie giggled, flying in the air like she doesn't care.

"Yes, very brave. Yay," Fluttershy said quietly.

"Heavens 'ta Betty; When we knew yew got so much ability, we didn't expect 'dat much!" Applejack exclaimed, impressed.

"Sorry! Please don't hate me!" Twilight exclaimed, fearing the worst that her friends would hate her for using magic like Trixie would've.

"Hate you?!" Applejack, Rainbow and Rarity asked in unison and surprise, as if Twilight told them something stupid.

"Why, whatever do you mean, darling?" Rarity asked Twilight in confusion.

"Well, to be honest, I saw how you didn't like how Trixie was showing off with her own magic." Twilight said in concern and worry. "I just thought..."

"Whoa, whoa, hey; Magic got nothing to do with it!" Rainbow interrupted Twilight, waving her claws in the air. "She is just being a loudmouth."

"Right, most unpleasant." Rarity remarked, scoffing in agreement.

"All hat but no cattle." Applejack remarked. Trixie may got magic but doesn't always prove herself.

"Plus, she is Super Duper Mean in her tricks towards us." Pinkie exclaimed in agreement, pouting over what Trixie did to most of the Dragon Six earlier today.

"Yes...and I hate to think what she would do to me." Fluttershy said, nodding in agreement.

"So wait, you don't mind my magic tricks at all?" Twilight asked her friends hopefully. Seems like they don't mind the Mind Dragon using her magic at all!

Applejack smiled as she explained, "Shoot, yer magic is a part o' of who yew are, sugar cube. We like ya just who yew are. We are proud o' having such a powerful talent Mind Dragon as our friend."

"Plus, if I wasn't who I was, partying all the time, I would be boring!" Pinkie exclaimed happily. "And if you aren't what you are...well, BORING!"

"Plus, after defeating the Ursa big time, we're even prouder!" Rainbow exclaimed with an eager smile.

"You all are?" Twilight asked with a smile of relief.

"You got it!" Rainbow exclaimed, giving a thumbs up of approval to her friend.

"Mmm-hmm," Applejack and Rarity said at once and in approval.

"Yes." Fluttershy said happily while Pinkie flew upside, giving out a goofy grin. Twilight smiled more. Looks like Spike was right. She should use her magic to help her friends, not to show off like Trixie did.

"Whoa, Twilight, awesome; But how did you know what to do with that Ursa Major?" Spike asked Twilight in bewilderment.

The Dragon laughed as she explained, "Well, that's what I was doing when you came looking for me. I was so interested by Trixie's bragging that I thought that I could do some reading on them."

"So it is possible to beat an Ursa Major by yourself!" Spike exclaimed, impressed.

"First off, that wasn't an Ursa Major. It was just a baby, the Ursa Minor." Twilight corrected Spike in amusement.

"A baby," Trixie yelled in shock and disbelief. She was afraid of a big baby the whole time?!

"Yes, and second, it wasn't on a rampage. It was cranky because two certain foolish Mind Dragons went and woke it up and from its nap!" Twilight explains, giving a glare at Snips and Snails.

Suddenly, most of every Dragon gave angry glares at Snips and Snails, making the two feel awkward and guilty. They went and woke up a baby, all to find out that their idol was a liar...and almost ruin Dragonville in the progress.

"Nuts." Snips and Snails groaned out, knowing that they are in big trouble.

"Hang on. So if that was an Ursa Minor...what does a Major one look like?" Spike asked in a panic. If that monster was an Ursa Minor, what does the adult, the Ursa Major, look like?

Inside its cave, the Ursa Major was cradled by the real Ursa Major, which has the same starburst on its forehead, but its teeth and claws were much longer and its fur was purple and shaggy. It looked like a prehistoric bear compared to the baby.

Twilight cringed a bit while saying, "Trust me, you're better off not knowing."

Trixie, apparently restored to normal, came over, snapping, "Ha! So what if you had defeated an Ursa Minor? You will never have the amazing show stopping ability of the Great and Powerful Trixie!"

Trixie quickly blew magic smoke from her Dragon Breath as if making her escape...but everyone saw her running/flying away to escape.

"Why, that little..." Rainbow growled furiously. She prepares to go after her but Twilight stops her in time.

"Rainbow; just let her go." Twilight insisted. The Storm Dragon frowned but watched Trixie make her escape from town. "Who knows? Someday, she'll learn her lesson."

Rainbow just shook her head in disbelief. Somehow, she doubted that Trixie, of all Dragons, will ever learn her lesson. That Mind Dragon will come back and won't be in a happy way!

Snips and Snails were preparing to sneak away...but Twilight flew in front of the two, blocking their path. The Mind Dragon said to the ones who started this mess, "Now you two..."

"Hey. Sorry we woke the Ursa Minor up." Snips said giving a nervous laugh to the frowning Twilight; Hoo boy. He and Snails are in big trouble now.

"Right, we just wanted to see some awesome magic." Snails remarks with a stupid nod.

"Yeah, I mean the way you took down that Ursa Minor; Awesome!"

Twilight gave the two Mind Dragons a searching look. Looks like flattering the student of the sun ruler of Draconia is not going to work for her. Snips and Snails stood in attention, knowing that what they will say now will determine what punishment that she will give the two for the trouble that they cause.

"Hey, we deserve punishment you give us." Snails said humbly and meekly to Twilight.

"Well, you can start by cleaning this mess up." Twilight said as she motions the smashed remains of Trixie's trailer to the two dimwits who gave a sly smile to her. "And Spike? What do you think? Shall I give them the number 25?"

"Oh 25, yes! And I think I deserve it too!" Spike exclaims eagerly to Twilight. "You know, for giving them the idea of bringing that Ursa Minor in the first place."

"Huh?" Snips and Snails ask scared, wondering what 'number 25' is.

"I think you're right." Twilight said as she begins to glow. The two young Dragons and Spike need to be punished for all the trouble that they cause tonight and so, the punishment they shall get!

Soon Snips, Snails and Spike, who knows what's coming and pushes his face close to his friend, all watch as their noses and chins glow...and soon...the trio has mustaches under their noses. Spike is gleeful with the punishment that he was given...and so was Snips and Snails who actually like their new mustaches to fit the crime.

"Sweet," Snips, Snails and Spike all exclaims eagerly at once.

It was a new morning in Dragonville. The mess was cleaned up from the last night's disaster and everything's normal in town again. Twilight meanwhile grins as she begins writing a letter to her mentor Princess, smiling as she uses a quill to write the report herself. Spike is out trying to, yet again, impress Rarity.

"'Dear Princess Sun Dragon: I have learned a very valuable lesson about friendship. At first, I was so afraid of being thought of being a showoff that in reality, I am hiding a part of who I am. My friends helped me realized that it's okay to be proud of your talents, as well as knowing what times there are that are appropriate to show them off...especially when it comes to standing up for your friends."

"So...finally admit that you're the most talent Mind Dragon ever in all of Dragonville?" Spike asks Twilight, smiling as he comes into the room.

"Well...okay, fine. But still, nothing to brag back." Twilight chuckles, noting Spike fingering his new mustache. She suspects that her Alicorn assistant didn't do too well. "So how did it go with Rarity?"

"Aww, man! She didn't go for the mustache."

"Yeah, but you know, Spike, that mustache has nothing to do with who you really are. Perhaps it's best to be yourself, you know?"

"Or maybe...a mustache isn't enough!" Spike exclaims eagerly, much to Twilight's disbelief. "Perhaps if I had both a mustache and a beard...."

"Not this again!" Twilight groans as she slaps her own head with one claw. Her friend just never learns.

"Okay, imagine me with a long Fu Manchu-type beard...or a goatee! Oh, maybe a soul patch; wouldn't that be awesome?!"

Twilight, back in Ponyville, chuckles as she turns her Universal Viewer off after finishing her show. The Alicorn Princess remarks, "Spike...even in this universe he never learns."

"Never learn what?" Spike, the Dragon one, ask as he came into the room...wearing a fake beard and a fake mustache. This causes Twilight to roll her eyes yet smile at this.

"Never you mind, Spike. Never you mind."

The End
