prologue
I grunted as I clumsily flew after the pink filly in front of me, who was speeding around like a rocket.
"Firefly!" I giggled slightly landing on a cloud and smiling up at her, my tiny wings buzzing. "Come back down here!"
"Why?" I watched as the filly hovered above me with a bright and happy smile, I only responded with lifting up a dark purple bow and she gave me a playful glare, swooping down and tackling me. As we wrestled around on the soft cloud, I heard my dad call out.
"Rainbow! Time for dinner!" his voice called to me as my ears perked up and I was pinned to the cloud. I let out a grunt as I squirmed and struggled underneath the pink filly with the electric blue mane and beautiful purple eyes.
"Come on Fire! Let up! I gotta go eat...!"
"Give me my bow. You keep taking it from me and I keep forgetting to get it back..!"
"But I like it! It reminds me of you when you're gone... Besides you look stupid with it attached to your tail all the time."
"Well you look stupid with the rainbow in your mane!"
"Do not! You look stupid with the blue in mane!"
"Nu-uh!"
"uh-huh!"
"Rainbow Dash don't make me come out there!" I heard my father voice call out again, more stern then the last time. I glared up at her, finally she released me. I quickly gave her a hug, and smiled at her.
"See you tomorrow?"
"Of course! Same place as always?"
"Yeah!" I grinned as I went to take off but I quickly stopped myself by a thought that had popped up in my head. I paused for a second as a large grin spilt across my face and turned towards the pink filly. "And Firefly?"
"Yeah?" She smiled about ready to take off herself.
"I believe."
"Believe in what?" the pink filly giggled some and looked at me with her curious purple eyes.
"I believe that you're... You're my Guardian Angel sent from.. Where angels come from!" I spoke in a voice that was almost a whisper as the sun started to set, causing the sun to shine Firefly's mane just right so the light bounced off her mane, giving it this soft gentle glow. Firefly looked like an angel, and she always protected and helped me when I was sad, hurt, or just needed to talk, so why wouldn't she be?
Firefly paused for a second, a perplex looked crossed over her face and she turned away for a moment.
"Guardian angel huh?" She looked back at me with a soft smile. "Where'd you get that from?"
"You're always looking out for me, and your really pretty like one!"
"Well, maybe I am one then." She shook her head and chuckled
"I knew it!"
"Dash! Get in here now!"
I smiled and turned my head, going to call back to my dad but the words stuck in my throat as I turned back to see that firefly wasn't there anymore. I also noticed she had left her bow (once again). A smug grin was plastered on my face as I picked the bow up in my mouth and carried it into the cloud house. I set it down on the table next to me as my father placed a Daisy Sandwich infront of me and gave a questionable look down at the bow.
"Where did you get that?"
"My Guardian Angel."
