After impressing Captain Spitfire with the history exam (She scored 100%) Rainbow Dash was promoted to Corporal and given the opportunity to join the Second Fighter Wing, the second squadron of the Wonderbolts. She accepted as she wanted to fight more than do stunts. Unfortunately she develops a crush on her Commanding Officer, Midnight Lavender. When Rainbow starts making some less-than-subtle hints at her feeling to him he finally figures it out he confronts her, but after a while he develops feelings for her to, and after that they're not to shy about showing it. It is an Equestria Girls style story. Also I know the jet in the picture is an F/A-22 Raptor however Spitfire's Squadron uses the F-16 Fighting Falcon and Midnight's uses the F/A-18 Super Hornet.
