Twilight Sparkle And The Chocolate Factory
Twilight Sparkle And The Chocolate Factory
Chapter One
Here comes Jackie
Written By Vinylmous
On a small Meadow in the rather small town of PonyVille was a large, broken down, rusty home containing three members of the Apple family. These three members were Applejack, a young filly with a bright orange coat, freckles upon her plump cheeks, and a blonde mane flowing behind her ever so slightly no matter where she had travelled. Whether it had been the kitchen, which had been only ten feet away from her bed, or to the other side of her bed, or should I say, the bed.
Then there was Big Macintosh. Applejack's elder, yet clumsy brother. He was granted with a dark red coat to cover up his buff chest and a shiny orange mane that glowed when it had rained down on the meadow.
Last but not least, there was Granny Smith. A elder farm pony who was oh so very tired she had stayed in bed night and day while her grandchildren for themselves every moment she had spent in bed. Since their beloved mother and father died one fateful night out in the woods by Timber Wolves.
Despite this family's ups and downs, they were happy and content with their life and their apple orchard to keep them from starving. The lovely family had a glass or two of apple juice in the morning, to keep little A.J and Big Mac strong and healthy to collect another round for the both Lunch and Dinner.
Apple Sauce for Lunch, and the nasty, icky, grimy bowl of apple stew they had for dinner. It sat out in the sun to heat and simmer, and would watch as the apple had begun to get so dry, it would dissolve right into the water and hardly give it any flavor. It was barley stew, but it was all a poor country family could afford.
Luckily, this poor family had not only eaten apples, for sweet little AppleJack absolutely adored….Chocolate.
Her absolute favorite brand was by Ms. Twilight Sparkle herself. The best
chocolate maker in the world with what was known to be the best factory in the world. A factory ten times larger than any other that smelt of chocolate. Everyday when Jackie would pass by Ms. Sparkle's factory, she would take in a whiff of the hot, and sweet dark chocolate that fluttered out of the factory.
The family was lucky enough to live upon a orchard of apples, and had to provide food for themselves, for they had not had enough bits to buy a cube of sugar. Yet Big Macintosh and his lovely grandmother saved up just enough bits they had found out in the orchard, beneath the couch cushions, or even under the floorboards, to buy one bar of chocolate per year for dear little Jackie's birthday.
Big Macintosh even picked up extra shifts at the Quills & Mattress store to help pay for the chocolate. After all it was the only thing that got a smile on Jackie's face. Just the thought of all the fillies coming out of the candy shop eating scrumptious, creamy, delicious hot chocolate bars.
There was Chilly Chocolate Creme, Nutty Crunch Surprise, Triple Dazzle Caramel, and lastly, Whipple-Scrumptious FudgeMallow Delight, Jackie's favorite.
Every year on her birthday she would place the chocolate bars she had collected over the years and place them in a small apple wood carved box that her mother had given to her.
Little Jackie would take small bites out of one of the corners every time she came home from school. At time she would even share small pieces with Big Macintosh and Granny Smith in return for one of her marvelous stories from when she worked at the factory.
Yes, Jackie's grandmother had once worked with her idol Ms. Sparkle, Oh and the stories she told where absolutely unbelievable!
Some where so absurd Little Jackie had the hardest time believing them! Even with her outrageous imagination! The most fascinating story Jackie had ever heard was about the Arabian Princess.

In the evenings, after finishing up her apple stew, Applejack would sit on the bed by Granny Smith and listen to her stories, than afterwards, she would kiss her and Big Macintosh on the forehead and say goodnight.
Granny Smith always went to bed happy, for Applejack's visit was the best part of her day. She would always look forward to tell Jackie about her adventures in the chocolate factory, even if she had already told her the story a dozen times. It didn't matter to either of them. They were family.
One evening when Jackie went to see her grandmother, she asked, "Is it really true that Sparkle's factory is the biggest in the world?"
"True?!" Granny Smith cried out and sat up straight to look Jackie in the eye.
"Of course it's true! Everyone knows that! It's fifty times larger than any other chocolate factory! Ms. Sparkle is the greatest, most fantastic, most extraordinary chocolate maker the world has ever seen!"
"Well; I know she's famous like Sapphire Shores,,,"
"Like!? Ms. Sparkle is a million times more famous than Sapphire Shores! The whole world knows of Ms. Sparkle. Everypony around the world for that matter! Heck, everypony in the universe! She can make anything she wants without a single spark from her horn!" Granny Smith placed her hooves on A.J's shoulders and looked her straight in the eye, "Isn't that right Mac?"
"Eeyup," Big Macintosh nodded and proceeded to making a batch of Apple Stew for dinner.
"Haven't I told you of Ms. Sparkle's talents?!"
"No...All ah recall are stories of when you were a lil' filly like me,"
"Oh boy..We need to fix that right away Jackie!" Granny Smith was the eldest of the whole Apple family. She was weak and bony, and oh so very tired she spent her days in the one bed in the entire PonyVille orchard.
But when Jackie entered the room, she marvelously seemed to grow young and energetic again.
"Oh what a mare she is! Did you know Ms. Sparkle herself has created more than two hundred types of candy bars! Each bar had a different center, and much more creamy and sweeter than any other chocolate bar in the world!" Granny Smith's eyes widen and her snout pressed up against Applejack's.
"Eeyup," Big Mac spoke and listened closely.
"Ms. Sparkle isn't only famous for her chocolate bars! Many other sweet as well! She has so many fantastic inventions that it's nearly impossible to pull off! She's even invented a way to keep chocolate ice cream that doesn't melt even when put in the sun all morning!
"Impossible!" AppleJack gasped. She moved away from Granny Smith and covered her mouth up with her hoof.
"My dear filly. But Sparkle has done it…. She can make marshmallows that taste of strawberries, and cubes of butterscotch that change color every five seconds while you suck on them. She can make pink bird eggs, and when you put one of them in your mouth, it gets smaller and smaller and smaller! And eventually, all that's left is a blue baby bird resting on the tip of your tongue!"
Granny Smith opened her mouth slightly and licked her lips slowly. "It makes my mouth water just thinking about it!"
"Mine too...Please go on," Apple Jack licked her lips as well and stopped to stare at Granny Smith with aw.
"How 'bout you tell her 'bout the Arabian Princess," Big Mac suggested and calmly trotted over to the bed. He leaned his head against the railing and waited for Granny to begin.
"Oh yes! What a story!" Granny Smith laughed loudly and clapped her hooves together.
"Tell me, tell me!" AppleJack whined and moved closer to Granny Smith, smiling widely.
"Alright, alright. Listen and I'll tell you."
