This was a topic Satine tried to steer clear of, never telling anypony her true age, saying it is very bad manners to ask a lady her age.
Mira was a powder green crystal pegasus with a musky blue mane and tail. She had a hobby of writing. She hadn't realized that she was low on ink, and when nopony answered the door, she decided to let herself in. "I was wondering if you had any ink? I just ran out, and-" She was cut off by a sound coming from upstairs. It sounded like a thump, and a few words that she couldn't make out. Curious, she cautiously walked up the steps, holding her hands nervously together in front of her.
As she wandered the upstairs hall, she finally got to the room where the sound was coming from, and knocked cautiously. "Excuse me? I need some ink, and I was w-" she was cut off again as the door swung open to reveal an angry Satine, and behind her, an unknown blue bat pony, naked, gagged, and chained. The room had no windows, and had sound proofing boards around the walls. Mira gasped in shock as she took in the room.
"Ahh. Look who it is, Eclipse. My nosey little neighbor, Miraborne." Satine's expression twisted into a lustful grin, and dragged Mira inside with her talon, slamming the door behind her.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Please go ahead." He passed the rest of the fruit over to her. "I'm Eclipse, by the way."
"It's a true honor to meet you, Mira." He bowed his head. "She doesn't open my room like this very often, would you care to visit again next time?"
"Yes, it would be delightful! I just hope... Well..." Mira looked away and blushed as she said, "I was actually hoping we could have another go, but without the passion fruit sometime. J-just a thought. I mean I know it's weird, and-" she was cut off as Eclipse placed a finger to her lips. No words were needed. He leaned in and kissed her gently on her lips. It was a short kiss, and he looked into her eyes. Mira was breathless as she felt his gaze upon her. She just froze at the moment of sudden bliss. Fireworks were going off inside her mind. ‘Why am I accepting everything? Why am I so weak around him?’ she thought.
He went back to kiss her again. She opened her mouth and her tongue danced with his. Neither were were fighting, but exploring, greeting each other like old friends. She felt his warmth on her crystal coat, and could feel herself warming to match.

Eclipse was on instinct and thought, instinct driving him forward, but thought holding him back. with this mixture, it felt like a true embrace. Something was awakening inside his heart, something he thought he had forgotten. His wings reacted on their own, wrapping around her and bringing them closer. All the mares immediately stopped what they were doing and gathered around the Mistress, some helping the pregnant ones to their hooves. "This is Mira. She's our newest bitch, so I want you all to make her feel welcome. Very welcome."
"Yes, Mistress." the rest answered.
"Excellent. Now, girls in their third trimester, please come to the maternity ward. Time for your check-ups." All the mares in their third trimester stepped into the hall following the mistress. They would be gone for a few days, until they gave birth and the foals sold off. The rest knew the way, so Satine took the opportunity to rub salt on Eclipse's wounds. Satine opened the door to Eclipse's room and searched for him. Eclipse stepped out of his shower and glared at the griffon.
"You...bitch," he said through clenched teeth.
"Who, me?" Satine said in a filly's voice, feigning innocence, "What did I do?" She fluttered her eyelashes to add effect.
"The only thing you've done is humiliate me. Ever since you caught me, it's just been passion fruit, breed a mare, passion fruit, breed a mare. It's like I'm not even a pony anymore!"
"Well you aren't a pony to me! You are nothing but my breeding boy-toy." Satine sneered at Eclipse as she strutted around the room.

"Ahh. I... See. But can it wait a few minutes? I need to run some things through my head. Dipper smiled softly and nodded. Just when Mira was about to sit down, Satine skipped through the doorway, a sinister grin directed at Mira.
"Dipper, mix up a brew of week preg. I want that baby out soon, because Eclipse is going to willingly pound our dear Mira here!" She announced, patting Mira's mane.
"Um, mistress?” Dipper started, “I don't mean to question you, but I remember the last time I made that drink. Breezy had a miscarriage."
"Oh, right. Damn it! The month potion will do." She waved off Dipper and looked to the rest of the girls.
"Mistress?" A couple of girls who finished their most recent birthing crawled up to her. "May we pleasure you? It's been so long since we tasted your perfect nectar."

"But I just had to see if you were ok and... WAIT A MINUTE! It it true? Are you really going to impregnate me willingly?! How... How could you?" Mira said, saddened.
"I'm sorry. I'm trying to spare you from that crazy griffon"s potions. You don't wanna know what Zumba can cook up. There's no limit to that Zebras insanity. But, I'm not the one to worry about, you have to get back to the other girls. Being pregnant can only protect you from so much."
"But... Ok." She left without saying goodbye.
He whirled around and smashed the orange he'd drained. "WHY?!" he shouted to the heavens. He tried not to think about those events five years ago, but his emotions clouded his reasoning.
Five Years Earlier…
Eclipse was home in the Badland Mountains, training for his classes to become a Sky Clan Shinobi. He was at a small rock formation with some scattered trees practicing his throwing star techniques. He had finished around sunset and was flying back, but was stopped by something. Another bat ninja was on its way to the village as well. Eclipse flew near and introduced himself.
“Evening. Are you in Master Strider’s class?” This ninja, now identified as a female, lowered her mask and answered. “Yes, I am. I’m Sakura.”
“Eclipse. Do you go outside the village to practice?”
“As often as I can. It’s better than going to the Grand Dojo where it’s always crowded.”
The two of them continued talking and started dating a few months later. When graduation finally arrived, Eclipse felt Sakura was the one and got her a hand crafted kunai combat throwing knife. When the ceremony had ended and the new ninjas were released, he looked for her. He found her... in the arms of another stallion. All she said to Eclipse was he was barely worth her time and left with the other. He threw the kunai over a cliff and tried to bury his emotions.
Present
Eclipse fell onto his bed and wept.

So Leafy took her around Satine's mansion. Soon, they came to the 'playrooms', where Eclipse's room was. While Eclipse's room was unlocked, he refused to go out. One of the few days he was left alone to be with his thoughts, any others were when Satine found other stallions, but none were as rare or skilled as he was. His keen hearing picked up the hoof-steps of the girls.
Mira asked Leafy to leave her alone for the time being, and knocked on Eclipse's door. "Eclipse? Are you in there?" She looked through the window.
He turned his head to look at his guest. "Mira?" He got up and let her in. "What are you doing here?"
"Can I come in? The day will be over in a few hours, and I haven't seen you."
"Sure. I still have some food. Would you care for some?" He held up the plate and bowed his head.
"No thank you. Satine fed me earlier." Mira opened the door and walked in. After an awkward silence, Eclipse plucked up the courage.
"So...how have you been? You know, since last time."
"Well, I was kind of sad that we got pulled away from each other..." Mira blushed.
"You know...You're the first girl who's talked to me about something other than sex." He walked her to the bed and sat down.
"Well, I don't think I'm a mindless sex zombie. That's probably why." She smiled awkwardly.
"Well, you're a much welcomed breath of fresh air," he chuckled.
"Yes, I suppose so," She hugged Eclipse. "You are the best stallion I ever met."
"Really? A mare as beautiful as you just talking to someone like me... Is unthinkable... Sorry, that sounded cheesy." He turned away.

“Gee, you’re just a ray of sunshine, aren’t you?!” Breezy quickly walked off towards the Marelantian room, probably to gossip about him with the other sisters.
Eclipse stepped into his room and slammed the door. He clutched his head and punched his mattress. “Why? Why does this have to happen?” He sank to his knees and cried. He seemed to do that a lot lately. Why? Because his love was losing its spark. Slowly diminishing as Mira became more and more attached to her 'Mistress'. But no. He couldn't let this happen to her. When she came back, he would snap her back into--
"Oh Eclipse!" A horrid sing-song voice shouted through the door. Oh boy. Hooray. It was Satine. "I thought I would share the bits with you from Mira's auction. Now I can buy some more passion fruit juice! And, she'll be coming home today around two, but not for long,"
"Oh? And WHY is that? Indulge me," he retorted.
"Because she will be getting sold to someone else. Duh. For GOOD, too." He rushed the door, but Statine was just out of reach.
“Look at you, going to pieces over a little whore like Mira.”
“Don’t you dare call her that.”
“And why not? She IS a little whore, and now she’s a sold whore. I’m being nice and giving you one last chance to fuck and say goodbye.”
“I’ll skin you and pluck your feathers for a foot pillow!”
"And let's see how that will play out." Satine smirked, and strutted back to the harem room.
Eclipse screamed in fury. He proceeded to destroy his room and almost everything in it.
“I have no choice. When Mira comes back, we escape; immediately.” He went to what was left of his bed and went over what information he had from his trips to and from the breeding rooms. It wouldn't be easy, but he’d find a way... or die trying.

Mira walked with Fleur and Fancy pants up to the mansion. Her green crystal coat shimmered in the afternoon sun, and a very short silver dress speckled with tiny, genuine diamonds. She wore a pair of matching silver ankle boots, the diamonds on its heels sending flashes of rainbow light across the ground. Fancy Pants nervously adjusted his neck tie as he stepped up to the door.
“You spent more on this whore’s dress than you ever have on me.” Fleur complained, reaching under Mira’s dress and stimulating her exposed pussy.
“Fleur, please. I need to compose myself for the bad news. I’ll get you something later,” he said as he rang the bell. Stone Smasher answered it, dressed in a traditional butlers attire.
“How may I help you?” he asked politely.
“I’m here to see Lady Satine. She knows me.” Fancy flashed his business card and Stone went to summon his mistress. Satine arrived at the door in a black evening dress, and was putting in black pearl earrings.
"Ah, Fancy Pants. And Mira! Darling! You look wonderful!" She looked at Mira happily.
“Thank you mistress. Master Fancy bought it for me,” Mira said as she showed her dress off.
“Lady Satine, I’m afraid I may have impregnated your slave. My deepest apologies for doing so without your permission.” He bowed in respect.
“WHAT?!” Satine screeched. “I have to sell her tomorrow!”
“Lady Satine, if possible, I could buy her and settle everything,” he offered.
“Absolutely not.” She grabbed Mira’s wrist, and dragged her inside, slamming the door.
“Well, you offered and she rejected. Job done. Now, let’s find me a nice dress. I’m thinking a Rarity design,” Fleur mused as she lead a confused Fancy Pants away.
Satine was furious at Mira.
“How could you let him cum inside you without protection?!” she hollered.
“I’m sorry mistress. But Miss Fleur said that I was a Type 4, and that they could do anything to me… So I kind of accepted it.” She looked at the floor, worry lines on her forehead. Satine raised her hand to slap Mira, but paused.
“You were right. I did say you would be a type 4. I should’ve been more clear about proper etiquette with my property. I need to think. Go say goodbye to your old love, Eclipse, while I find a way to make this work.” Satine absently handed Mira the keys to the cells and play rooms.
Mira walked the halls, and stopped at Eclipse’s room.

With his sharp senses, Eclipse picked up the slight clinking of crystal hair - Mira had to have come back! He rushed to the window, expecting to see her there. When he didn’t see her, he thought she had gone, but heard the jingle of keys.
“Mira! You have the keys? Wow. ‘Mistress” must really trust y-” Eclipse’s eyes widened, and a smile spread across his face. “You have the KEYS! You didn’t forget our plan!”
Mira just opened the door, walked inside, closed the door, and threw the keys out the window.
“Mira, what are you doing? We have to escape. Right now!” he pleaded as he held her shoulders and looked into her eyes.
“I’m pregnant again. With Master Fancy’s child,” She breathed.
“Master Fancy? Listen to yourself, Mira! These harlots have changed you into one of them. This is not the mare I fell in love with.” He started crying. “Please, Mira. Come back to me.”
"I am property, I am not allowed to make my own choices, I am to listen and do. I am to pleasure. I am to..." She rambled on and on.
"WAKE UP!" He tackled her down to the ground, pinning her shoulders against the door.
"What is there to wake up from? YOU need to wake up to why you are in Equestria: to pleasure Mistress!"
Eclipse raised his fist and punched her in the shoulder. He scraped his claws down her right eye, drawing a small trickle of blood from a single ragged claw scrape. In his fury, he scraped her thighs. He stopped himself as he scraped the top of her left breast. Mira had passed out, blood now flowing from her fresh, tender wounds.
"No. No. What have I done!?" Eclipse snarled at himself. He wrapped his arms around her body, putting pressure on her scrapes. A tear traced down his eye, streaming onto her chest, rolling down her crystal green coat. When they reached her stomach, they disapeared into her flesh. Mira's stomach, still slightly swollen from Fancy Pants's semen, shrinked down to normal, making her freshly fertile.
Her eyes opened slowly.
"Eclipse? Is that you?" Mira whispered. Her right eye was glazed over, but her left one sparkled.
“Mira? Are you back? Are you truly back?” he asked through his tears.
“What happened? I feel… dirty.”
“It’s okay, Mira. I’m here. I won’t let them hurt you again. You truly are an awoken soul.” He held her close to his chest, not caring if she bled onto his coat.
“I love you. But we have get out!”
“I’ve come up with a plan, but unfortunately, you tossed the keys out into the hall.”
“I did WHAT now?”
Eclipse helped Mira up to her hooves, and gestured out the window.
“I am SUCH an idiot,” Mira rubbed her temples.
“I have an idea, if I hold your hooves, maybe you could lean over the window and grab the keys.” Eclipse grabbed Mira’s hooves and eased her up so she was hanging out the small window. She walked on her hands towards the keys, and she was low enough to the ground that her tight dress brushed the ground, but she still felt like it was too far.
“Come on, Mira, I know you can do this.” She stretched her arm, and wrapped a finger around the ring and pulled the keys in.
“Got ‘em!” she said triumphantly. Eclipse dragged her back to the room, and let go for Mira to roll up and stand. She unlocked the door and smiled at Eclipse.
“Mira, what I’m about to tell you is vital. Stay close to me. If I have to fight, I want you to hide so you won’t be hurt. Do you understand?”
“Yes, of course!” Mira followed closely behind Eclipse as he quickly opened the door. A quick look around showed no one else in the hall. The two dashed out with Eclipse counting the doors as they passed. His mental map had been built over the years he was trapped in the mansion. They came to a junction and ran into Breezy with a thud.
“Hey! What are you doing out here! You aren’t allowed to-” Eclipse swerved around her and chopped her carotid artery, knocking her out. Mira pulled a diamond off of her dress and kissed it, leaving it in Breezy’s palm.
“I’m so sorry… Big sister,” Mira whispered.
They proceeded to take a quick left, passing by the playrooms. Eclipse didn’t slow down as they found a flight of stairs leading up. They ran up and came out in an ornate passage that held paintings of old Griffonian battles, suits of armor, and display cases of a few weapons. Eclipse grabbed a pair of pants and pulled them on. He looked at the cases and gasped at something he saw.
“Gemini!” He busted open the glass and grabbed the twin daggers.
“Eclipse, I know we are escaping, and that you hate Mistre- I mean Miss Satine, but stealing isn’t right!” Mira whined.
“Mira, have you seen the size and sharpness of Satine’s talons? It’s dangerous!” Eclipse broke another case, and took out a pair of titanium battle claws. “Put these on. when you clench your fist, the claws will come out, so keep your hands open, or else you may unintentionally hurt someone. Besides, these were mine in the first place.” He showed Mira a strange mark on the hilt of the weapons.
They ran up the hall and burst into a large ballroom filled with ponies and griffons. They all gasped and looked at the escapees when Satine herself stormed over. “What are you doing out of your rooms?!” she bellowed.
Eclipse lunged for her, but got intercepted by a security guard. That sent the rest of the guests into a panic and they fled. “You WORTHLESS MULE! Do you have any idea who these guests are?!”
“I don’t care! I’m going to end you!” Eclipse yelled and with a shift of his weight, he killed the security guard, only to have more jump out.
As the reinforcements came, Mira clenched her fists and unsheathed the battle claws. She slashed and clawed, pierced and stabbed. She moved like a... Rooster in a cockfight?
Suddenly, her hands and arms attached to her outstretched wings, and her hooves morphed into talons, and large spurs broke through her skin. Her muzzle turned into a beak. Red skin flaps sprouted from the bottom of her new beak, and one large flap above her head. Her eyes became brown and her pupils shrunk. Her ears and mane shrank away. Her fur was replaced by an array of white and black feathers. Her tail was replaced by a long black-green feathered tail.
The guards fled in terror of the beast in front of them: perhaps not a true trained fighter, yet the guards tried to keep their distance from her wild swinging spurs and flapping wings. Eclipse ducked and wove through the stallions with grace. It had been almost two years since he held his weapons, but they still fit and spun like they never left. In minutes, all the guards were either dead or unconscious.
Eclipse pointed a blade at Satine. “Now...It’s your turn.”
Instead of fighting, Satine dashed for a secret door and ducked inside. Eclipse gave chase, but got to it just as it locked. The mansion had a maze of secret passages that only Satine and a few of her choice staff knew inside and out.
Eclipse roared in anger, then turned to... Mira?
"Mira!" Eclipse ran over to the limp white and black figure.
Thirteen Years Earlier.. .
"Bubbles!" A young green crystal Pegasus lifted a small white and black rooster in the air, nuzzling its neck with her nose. Her blue mane and tail drifted in the wind, tangling in the tall grass. The rooster clucked happily and ruffled his feathers.
Nearby, a small fenced area held a flock of chickens, all clucking and pecking at the ground for seeds. Some ways away, a fox watched in silence.
“Be a good boy Bubbles, I’m trusting you out here,” The pegasus set down the chicken, and flew over the fence to fetch some grains. With no danger of being caught, the fox quietly padded to where the rooster stood pecking at the ground and waiting for it’s owner. It leaped and caught the chicken by it’s neck.
The filly heard frantic squawks coming from the grass, and dropped her grains. She flew as quickly as she could to the area where she left her precious pet.
“Bubbles! Where are you? Bubbles!” She landed and saw the limply flapping bird in the mouth of the fox. She screamed in horror, and grabbed the unsuspecting fox by it’s head. She grabbed it’s body with her other hand, and pulled.
“Don’t. Hurt. My. BABY!” She clenched her teeth and yelled as she ripped the fox’s head from it’s body.
She threw it and fell to her rooster.
“B-Bubbles? Wake up! Wake up! My baby!” The pegasus screeched and broke out in tears. She picked up the rooster and held it to her neck. “It wasn’t your fault. The mean fox did it. You couldn't have known,”
Her tears mixed with his blood, dripping down onto her chest. Her coat absorbed the mixture, and she felt a chill go through her body.
“Bubbles? Is it you? Is your spirit with me now?” The pony whispered into the unmoving creature in her arms. Her blue eyes glinted with a shade of golden brown, and she took the bird to her home to be burned with the finest crystal wood.
Present…
Mira opened her eyes and let tears drizzle down her cheeks. She was lifted by an invisible force, save for the rushes of white feathers that circled her. Mira’s feathers fell away, leaving her with her crystal coat. Her chicken parts vaporized, and her pupils enlarged again.
She chuckled to herself sleepily. "All for a handful of scratch grains,"
“Mira? Mira? Are you in there?” Eclipse asked, keeping his distance from the swirling case of feathers in case she struck out again.
And it screamed in the Night
As Mira was placed gently down on top of the feathers by the force, she stared blankly up at the ceiling, her one good eye almost as glazed as the other. Eclipse was pleasantly surprised by the fact that her dress was fully intact even after the odd change of species.
A rhythmic thumping was rippling through the floor. Eclipse knew something big was coming, so he tucked Mira into a corner and turned to face the door. It opened gently, letting in a hulking minotaur. Eclipse readied his daggers and eyed his target, looking for weak spots or things he could use.
He spotted an overturned hors d'oeuvre table and ducked behind it, hoping for the effect of a sneak attack. If he could get to the legs, he could disable the guard. Unfortunately, the minotaur saw him duck and lifted the table.
“I can smell your fear, pony!” he threatened.
“Soon, you’ll be smelling your own blood!” Eclipse shouted as he dashed for the minotaur's legs, stabbing the backs of its knees as he passed. The minotaur roared in pain and fell to a kneeling position. Eclipse took a moment to breath, but he heard the beast rise.
"I see another pony. Haha! It looks weak and pitiful," the Minotaur laughed as he limped over to the half-awake Mira.
"Get away from her! Foul half-breed!" Eclipse intercepted the minotaur's path and stretched his bat-like wings. I hope I can still fly after all these years, Eclipse thought as he began to beat his wings. He rose into the air and drove his daggers into the minotaurs neck, severing nerves and arteries. Death was instant. The body fell with a mighty thud.
Eclipse ran over to Mira and cradled her. He stood up with Mira in his arms, and walked to the double doors before him, which should be leading to the main entrance. And beyond that entrance door: Freedom. However, one last obstacle stood in their way. A Zebra with a demented look on his face. “Zumba,” Eclipse growled.
“You remember me, bat slave,” Zumba responded with an almost traditional evil grin, “I presume you also remember what it is I do to bad slaves.” He cracked a whip for emphasis. Eclipse put Mira into a corner and turned to face the mad Zebra, the Gemini gleaming in the and dripping with blood. “I see you stole one of mistress’ favorite treasures from her display cases.”
“These are mine and you know it,” Eclipse growled.
“Wrong. You belong to Mistress Satine, ergo, all your old possessions belong to her now. After I deal with you, it’ll be simple matter to return Miraborne to her real self and to serve mistress again,”
“She is NOT a slave! And we ARE leaving. Killing you will be doing Equestria a huge service.”
“Then try it!” Zumba drew a chain-whip from a bag, and lashed it at Eclipse. Eclipse dodged and rushed in, wings flared. Zumba pulled some of the chain back and caught a thrust Eclipse made with his right arm.
“You will not prevail, menial Zebra servant!” Eclipse clawed at Zumba. The manic Zebra drew back his chain and attacked Eclipse with his hands. Zumba was surprisingly good at hand to hand combat and seemed to know how to block or counter every strike Eclipse threw.
Normally, Eclipse would keep his wings furled to prevent them from getting hurt, but he needed to surprise the insane Zebra. He shot his left wing forward along with a left hook punch. Eclipse’s Wings shot out again, aiming for Zumba’s eyes. His wing tips opened barbs, a trait a bat pony could only use if finely bred.
The barbs pierced Zumba’s eyes. He fell to his knees.
And screamed.

Intertwining
Zumba staggered around, swinging his whip wildly. As it passed Eclipse, he caught it and leapt at the zebra, aiming for the neck. The blades pierced and blood gushed out. Eclipse panted and came down from his rage, realizing he broke a rule of ninja combat: Never let emotions cloud your thinking.
As Eclipse stood up, he turned to Mira, and quickly trotted to her. He picked her up gently, and she groaned in her half-asleep state. He headed to the darkness which was the night outside.
“We’re outside Mira,” Eclipse shed tears of joy into Mira’s dress. “Now we just have to find our baby,” He breathed the refreshing night air, his thoughts returning to his main foe: Satine. I’ll have to get her sooner or later. He thought as he took off in flight, heading to the mountains while his achy shoulders strained to keep Mira upright.
The flight was tricky with him being out of practice, so they had to take temporary shelter. Another problem was there were no recognizable landmarks or cities, and he was barely clothed, so they wouldn’t even be able to get a public place to stay, like an Inn.
He eventually landed on a rocky ledge, and peeked into a small cave.
“It’ll have to do…” Eclipse set Mira down on the floor, taking off his pants. He shivered at the cold, but proceeded to fold up the garment and place it under Mira’s head.
He cuddled up to her body and shivered. When his hooves started to become numb, he sat up, getting on top of Mira. Eclipse slowly tugged at the straps to take it off. He reluctantly pulled the dress all the way down her body, and put part of the dress on his hooves, the top portion resting on
Mira’s eyes fluttered open, and she tremored at the crisp dry air. As she moved to get more comfortable, she realized she was undressed. She shifted to the other side, where her back had been, and saw Eclipse.
She moved closer to him, seeing he was awake. Her hard nipples rested on his arm.
“Where are we?” She asked.
“I don’t know,” he answered. “Satine’s mansion must be in a remote location I don’t recognize. We’ll have to stay here for the night.” He held Mira close, trying to share the heat. He knew how to build a fire, but if he left, he’d use up a lot of his body heat and might not make it back, and then Mira would freeze. It was safer to stay together.
“I-it’s so cold here,” Mira stuttered.
“I know. But, if we remain like this, our combined body heat will keep our cores warm until morning.” He sniffed her scent and sighed. “You scared me back there. Your transformation and the brainwashing. I thought I’d lost you.”
“I… I’m sorry, I remember going into it, my… ahem, special spirit fought it, but something about that enchanting was something I have never dealt with before.” She sighed and gently stroked the still-tender scar on her eye. “Eclipse, I can’t see out of this eye,” Mira concluded after closing her other eye, and seeing nothing but darkness.
“You’re still alive...and with me. We’ll get through this together.” He started to get sleepy, but fought it off. He had to stay awake to make sure Mira would survive. But, the escape and fights were starting to catch up to him.
Mira watched Eclipse nodding off and then waking up over and over.
“You have to sleep. You’ll go insane like this!” Mira kissed Eclipse tenderly, putting her legs around his for warmth.
“Sleep deprivation was part of my training,” he yawned. He wanted to rest after the fight, but Mira would be warmer if he were awake.
“Well, if you absolutely insist,” Mira closed her eyes and curled up, falling asleep within seconds.

The morning sun rose and warmed the cave of the two runaways. Eclipse felt the warmth and realized he’d fallen asleep during the night. He quickly checked Mira’s pulse and was relieved to find it was stable. He carried her to the entrance of the cave and lay her in the light.
Mira jolted awake at the feeling of the slightly more rocky floor of the entrance to the cave.
She yawned as she sleepily said, “Good morning Eclipse,”
Her nipples erected in the crisp-but-warm air, sending chills down her spine. She looked around lazily as she took in the surroundings.
Eclipse stretched and readied his wings. “I’m going back to the mansion,” he said. “I need to get us some clothes and try to find records of Satine’s sales.”
“What? Are you crazy!?” Mira sat up and snapped at Eclipse. “Going back to the mansion is the worst thing you could do right now. And,” She stood up and went to the spot where they slept. “We have these,” Mira held up the dress and the pair of pants.
“That’s only enough for one, and this place is very remote. When the alarms sounded, everyone fled, and I don’t think she’d want the police to find a harem of slaves upstairs. Besides,” He knelt down to eye level, “How else are we going to find Midnight?” Midnight had been the name they secretly given to their baby when running through the halls of the mansion.
Mira teared up at the mention of their son. She shot a look down on the gravel ground. Their poor Midnight was probably in a worse place.
“What do you think they’re doing to him? Those inconsiderate monsters! They’ve probably already molested him!” Mira burst into tears. Eclipse knelt to hold Mira.
“Hush. Don’t think about that. I’ll find the sales records and we’ll track him down.” He flew into the air and headed back to the mansion. The place looked just like they had left it the night before. He walked into the main hall and saw Zumba’s body. He ignored it and moved upstairs to find an office or study.
He checked every room he saw until he found what looked like Satine’s office. Filing cabinets were arranged along the walls leading to the main desk, each marked with letters. Eclipse opened the nearest one marked “A” and saw folders inside with names. The names of the many mares she had raped, manipulated, and used. He closed the drawer and found the “M” case. Mira’s folder had only one paper in it, the record of the sale for her single son. He took the whole folder and then moved back to one of the bedrooms.
Unfortunately, it was more like a soft, kinder version of the “play rooms” Satine used when she used him for fucking the other mares. Eclipse left that room and headed downstairs back to Zumba. “You won’t need these anymore,” he said and stripped the body.

Mira held her knees together close to her chest, preening her feathers with her fingers, and occasionally with her muzzle. It must have been a trait she inherited from her dear Bubbles.
Eclipse came back with new clothes for them and more importantly, the file on Midnight. He landed and helped Mira to practice the odd job of preening. “Feeling better?” he asked.
“Yeah, I suppose so. Do you have the file?” Mira was so distracted with the thought of finding Midnight that while Eclipse’s face was buried in her plummels, she folded them inward, slapping him lightly in the ear.
Mira had plummels, which made her flight silent like an owl, compared to the sing-song leathery flap of a bat pony’s wings, or the normal noisy flight of a regular pegasus. They didn’t help much, though, because of her crystal, which jingled with every movement.
“Ow,” he cringed. “Yes, I got it. It says he was bought by a pony named Jet Set for ten million bits.”
“T-ten million bits?” Mira stuttered.
“Yes, now do you remember seeing this face at the club?” Eclipse handed her a picture of a snooty-looking pony. He had a gray-black mane and tail, with a silvery coat. a pair of small, round spectacles rested at the end of his long, square snout. Mira thought back to her ‘show’ at the club, searching the crowd that she didn’t pay a lot of attention to, but the face DID ring a bell.
“I’m not quite sure, but I think I recall seeing this ‘Jet Set’ once before, at the club.” Mira threw the thought around her head some more.
“Then we have something to go on. Let’s go find our child.”

As the two runaways traveled for a city, Eclipse gathered anything edible and safe, mostly berries and a few pieces of fruit. Every time they made camp, Eclipse would make sure Mira was comfortable before he did anything. They would talk more in depth about parts of their lives and what they planned for the future.
“I do hope that, when we settle down, we can get a proper marriage. As well as a cabin in the woods. I have always wanted a wooden cabin.” Mira sighed drearily, huddling close to Eclipse as a light drizzle of rain started to seep from the clouds.
Eclipse held her closer. “I’ll get you anything you want, my love. My clan believes I’m dead, so I’ll stay and protect you.” The rain started picking up, and the physically unwed couple fell asleep in each other's presence, their spirits intertwining in their own weddings.
The two escaped ponies flew closer and closer to Canterlot, where the files said they would find Jet Set, and his spouse Upper Crust. Under the cover of night, Eclipse flew into the walls and settled on a roof.
His fur tingled and his heart quickened. This was his element, and he loved it. His ears swiveled and eyes darted about, trying to pick up on the name being said, anywhere.
Mira was hovering above silently, waiting for a signal. She did a quick scout of the neighborhood before returning to her post, which was where she was keeping watch. Being back in Canterlot was slightly odd, but it felt so much better than the wilderness. Eclipse noticed Mira hovering near him.
“Stay down,” he whispered, “Your fur might draw attention.”
“Sorry,” She replied nervously.
She sat gently on the roof, laying belly down on it. The sounds of the city were almost deafening to someone like her, being used to the quiet countryside.
“There. I got him. Someone mentioned his name and an appointment at a ‘Horse Shoe Spa’. We’ll tail him from there and he’ll lead us to his home,” Eclipse said confidently. How could he hear that over all the other noise?
Mira nodded, flying gently down from the roof. “Has he come out of the spa yet?” She inquired, embracing Eclipse.
“Maybe, maybe not, but from the context he should be getting there.”
“What time is it?” She yawned. “We’ve been at it for days!” Eclipse saw she was fatigued, unable to properly keep up with the pursuit.
“You can gather a few clouds and rest up. I’ll tail Jet Set and learn where he lives. Then, we can face him together and get our son back,” he reassured her.
“No, I have to be with you, I’ll try my best; If I get too tired, I promise to rest,” she whined.
Eclipse sighed and stroked her face. “Alright. We can use an old trick I learned and follow him inside a few clouds. I’ll find the spa, you get the clouds.” He kissed her lips for good luck.
“Okay, I’ll get some.” Mira quickly lifted off, beginning to gather the small clouds in the sky. Eclipse flitted about the rooftops, eyes and ears scanning for the Horse Shoe Spa. He quickly located it and got back to Mira. Once the clouds were gathered, the two nestled inside and gently glided towards the spa. Once they arrived, so did Jet Set.
“There he is,” Mira whispered. “How long until he gets out?” She asked, peeking through the cloud. They watched as Jet Set trotted into the spa, his head held up high.
“I don’t know. My guess is a Canterlot snob like him will be there for hours getting his mane and nails shiny,” Eclipse seethed, letting a small piece of his past surface, but forcing it back down.
