It came as no surprise to anyone when the contorted and lifeless body of Applejack was found on the streets of Ponyville. Her face was frozen in a terrified screaming expression. It had finally caught up to her they had thought. But her fate was not as they imagined it.
Maybe we should start from the beginning.
One hot summer night in Ponyville, a familiar orange pony came trotting, as she did every night at this time, to the dark back alley behind Sugarcube corner. "Got the bits?" asked a large gruff Stallion. Without a word Applejack handed over the bits and took the bag from him. She couldn't even wait until she was out of the alley. She ripped the bag open to reveal her precious treasures.
This particular night was not without its peculiarities. Twilight Sparkle had been jolted awake by that stupid giant living monster book dream again. She decided to take a walk.

Twilight heard the strange sound.

She followed
OM NOM
Twilight ran into the alley
OM NOM NOM NOM NOM
She was shocked and terrified at what was before her.
Applejack was feasting on 27 ripe delicious peaches. Twilight screamed. Applejack screamed. Pinkie Pies screamed! Not because of the peaches, but because it was 3:22, her night scream fun minute!
Twilight ran home and cried herself to sleep.
The next morning Twilight ran to talk to Rarity, her being the only sane Pony in this town. ".....AND THEN SHE BIT INTO ANOTHER PEACH!" Explained Twilight.
Rarity fainted.
Rarity and Twilight gathered all of the other Pony friends and decided to confront Applejack. They knocked on her door.
"I'm sorry guys, but applejack fell into a scream coma from screaming so much....also Yup" said Big Mac. The Ponies ran to the hospital.
Applejack walked into the dark alley. Her dealer handed her the bag. "Hey, don't you want your bits?" She asked, but he was already gone. Applejack opened the bag, only to be sucked into it.
Applejack fell through a dark void. After what felt like hours, strange colorful shapes began to appear. Peaches. Pears. Grapefruits. Plums.
After a long period of time she finally hit the bottom. A large pile of grapes broke her fall. She stood up and found herself in a huge beautiful field full of fruits. Mountains of oranges. Lakes of strawberries. Meadows of lemons and limes. She was HOME!
Applejack ran for the tall pile of mangos. Just before she could leap into them, a large black void appeared in front of her.
"WHAT DO YOU DESIRE?" It asked. "I want some of them juicy mangos!" She replied. "YOU CAN HAVE ALL THAT YOU WISH, BUT YOU WILL REMAIN FOREVER!" he vanished. "Staying HERE forever? What could be better?" She said.
1 year has seemingly passed in this paradise. Applejack feasted on fruit all day. Every day. For a YEAR. She found herself going a bit crazy.
"Ok so heheh I ate the pond of cherries now heheh I need to tackle the ocean of raspberries heheh" she mumbled to herself.
"ARE YOU WELL?" Asked a voice. The void had returned to her. "HAVE YOU EATEN YOUR FILL?" It asked. "Are you CRAZY? I still need to conquer the Watermelon Rapids!" She replied angrily. "I SHALL RETURN" The void was gone.
10 years have seemingly passed in this hell. Applejack wondered the empty wasteland. Nothing could be seen beside the empty landscape and empty sky. She had eaten the entire world, yet still felt an unfathomable hunger.
"HOW ARE YOU APPLEJACK" A voice asked. "Please....please tell me what I should do.....please" Applejack pleaded. "YOU HAVE BETRAYED YOUR DESTINY AND YOUR ELEMENT" It tells her. "What are you talking about? Please help me! WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Applejack was becoming hysterical.
"FACE YOUR DESTINY! FACE THE TRUTH!" It was gone.
On the horizon Applejack could see a bright glowing light. She ran. She ran past the molding mountain of orange peels. She ran past the dry lake of strawberries. She ran past the wasteland of lemon and lime peels.
It was before her.
A single glowing red apple sat in front of her. She began to tear up. "WHAT IS WRONG?" Asked the voice. "I can't do it.....I just can't" She was beginning to cry. "BUT ARE YOU NOT APPLEJACK? ARE YOU NOT THE ELEMENT OF HONESTY? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?" It began to sound angry,
"I've never eaten an apple in my life"
The apple began to glow much brighter. She slowly approached it. "FULFILL YOUR DESTINY!"
She took a bite of the apple.
Applejack awoke in a hospital bed. Around her stood all of her best friends.
"WHAT YEAR IS IT?" She screamed. "What are you talking about silly? You've only been asleep for 2 hours" Explained Pinkie Pie. "But how is that possible? It's been years!" She said firmly. "You fell into a scream coma. Time is always distorted in those" Said Twilight. "OF COURSE! IT'S SO OBVIOUS!" Said Applejack completely sincerely.
Applejack spent the next hour recounting the horrors of her dreamscape.
"And then I saw it! The bright red apple" She said. "But wait, how was eating an apple confronting your destiny?" Asked Rainbow Dash. Applejack hesitated. "Because......because I've never eaten an apple in my life!"
Rarity fainted.
"but how is that possible? You live in an apple orchard! You spend hours every day bucking apples! How could you never have eaten one? Asked Twilight. "The opportunity just never came up." Answered Applejack. Twilight simply stared at Applejack in disbelief.
The friends took Applejack home. They had a talk with Big Mac and Granny. Everyone cried and it was finally decided that applejack would eat an apple in front of them all!
Applejack sat at the table. All eyes on her. She grabbed the Red Delicious. She took a bite.
"Hm, not bad"
Everyone went home. Applejack went to bed,
That night she felt sick and restless. She climbed out of bed. Applejack left her house and found herself back in front of the dark alley.
They found her body early that morning. Everyone had assumed that she had relapsed and overdosed on peaches.
Her friends would never know the truth.
Applejack was deathly allergic to apples.
