Spike and the Alicorn Sammich
Chapter One:
Arrival

Spike walked off the train and searched the station for a certain someone. Ponies trotted all around him, going about their business, and a few looked his way. Most who did were Royal Guards who knew him and more importantly, mares, who blushed when he returned their glances.

Spike was used to mares gazing his way, and he had no reason to complain.

Over the years, Spike had grown into a fine young, adult dragon. He was taller than the average stallion, and his muscles had also grown in, which many mares really enjoyed.

But, we are getting off topic. Now, after that bit of backstory, we can continue with the real story.

“Spike!” Called a voice, “Over here!”

Spike looked past the crowed of ponies and spotted Luna, waving to him from a parked carriage. He smiled and made his way to her.

“Its good to see you Luna, I hope that I didn't keep you waiting long.” said Spike, worried. He held out his long arms, waiting for a hug.

Luna hugged the drake, and snuggled into his embrace.

“Hmmm, we have missed your hugs, Spike.” Her grip tightened and Spike chuckled. Then she released him, “And no, you did not keep us waiting long.”

The guard opened the door to the carriage, and Luna and Spike went inside, and took their seats.

“Oh, is that all you missed, my hugs?” Spike raised an eyebrow, smirking. He wrapped his arms around her.

She grinned, and returned the embrace.

“No, Spike, we have also missed you, and not just your hugs.” said Luna, resting her head on his hard chest.

Spike loved Luna... Wait a second. That sounds wrong. Lets rephrase that: Spike cared deeply about Luna, she was much more out going than Celesta, and the two always had a great time together. She was one of his best friends, and he was (practically) her only friend.

He wasn't saying that Celesta wasn't fun, he just had a better time with Luna.

“So, Luna, how have you been?”

“It has been a most stressful year” she sighed, looking irritated. “The Griffon Empire, has declared war on the Diamond Dog Clans, and both sides are demanding for Equestria to get involved, but it's NOT our fight. If they wish to kill each other then that is their problem! Leave Equestria out of it!-”

“Luna, I think you need to take a breath” said Spike, resting his claw on her shoulder.

She took the advice and took a deep breath.

“Thank you, Spike, we can get most angry, thinking about politics."

“Yea, politics aren't really my thing either.” laughed Spike. “But now that I'm here, I can help with your stress.”

Luna leaned over and whispered into Spike's left ear, her hot breath giving him shivers.

“Help with my stress? Are you trying to get into my bedchambers, Spike?” she licked his neck. “Because we wont stop you...”

Spike blushed and rolled down the window, letting some cold air in.

'This is going to be a long weekend...'

Spike and Luna walked into Celestia's throne room. The sun goddess herself looked up from a document, and smiled at the site of her beloved sister and friend.

She trotted off her throne and hugged Spike.

“Oh, Spike, look at how much you have grown. You better stop, before I deem you a threat to the public’s safety” said Celestia.

“Celestia, the only thing I'm a threat to, is you, if you don't hug me tighter” said Spike, smirking.

She grinned and her hug tightened. Luna watched from the sidelines, feeling a little jealous, and as they continued to hug, Luna started getting impatient.

“OK, we think that is enough!” yelled Luna. Spike looked taken aback from the outburst, but Celestia just frowned, with a raised eyebrow.

“Whats wrong Lulu?” smirked Celestia. “You aren’t jealous, are you?”

Luna blushed, then slammed her hoof down.

“W-We are not jealous! We just think that Spike is tired from his long trip, and needs to rest” she looked to Spike, and pointed a hoof. “Spike! You are tired from your trip, no?”

Spike, the big eight foot dragon, felt like the smallest thing on the planet at the moment, as Luna and Celestia looked at him, awaiting his answer.

“Uh... Sure. I could use some sleep” he chuckled, nervously.

Celestia shook her head, disapprovingly, but Luna cheered in victory.

“Huzzah! Spike agrees with me!” Luna shook her flank in Celestia face, making the drake blush. “In your face, dear sister!”

Celestia pushed Luna away with her magic, and transferred her gaze to the handsome drake. She smiled warmly.

“Your old bed can not accumulate to your new size, so you may use one of the guestrooms. I do hope that will suite your liking” Celestia acted calm, but inside, she was nervous that Spike would not like the idea.

“That sounds great. Heck! I'll take about anything at this point. Train seats can do a number to your back, and a nice bed sounds great.” smiled Spike.

Celestia let out a sigh of relief, but then squeaked in surprise when Spike pulled her into a hug. Spike loves hugs, especially when they come from Celestia or Luna. He didn't really know why he enjoyed their hugs more than any other ponies, but it was just something that he enjoyed. I mean, who doesn't like getting hugs from two sexy Goddess's?

Celestia was surprised, but then melted into the embrace.

Luna had recovered from the magic shove, and now watched as her sister was treated with a hug, from the drake that she lov- no! Liked. The drake that she liked. It was to soon to say the 'L' word. She looked down and frowned.

Spike noticed this from the corner of his eye, and smirked. Using his tail, Spike wrapped it around Luna and pulled her into the hug.

“Yeeep!” squeaked Luna.

“Come on Luna join the hug. I've missed you both so much, and you know how much I enjoy hugs.” laughed Spike.

Luna was unsure at first, so she looked to Celestia. The sun goddess smiled, and nodded.

Having been giving permission, Luna melted into the warm hug.

Spike, Celestia, and Luna all hugged in the middle of the throne room, enjoying each others company. After a year of stress and worry, all three could now start a week of relaxation and fun, but Luna and Celestia had some business to attend to, during this vacation.

To find out whats been making Spike work so hard, without break, for the past month.

Spike pulled away and yawned.

“Well...*yawn*... I think that its about time to hit the hay.” said Spike, walking to the door. “I'll see you two tomorrow. Also, thanks again for letting me stay for the weekend, you guys are awesome”

He waved goodbye and the door closed.

Luna and Celestia kept up their fake smiles until he was out of ear's reach.

Both sisters jumped and turned to each other with angry scowls.

“What is thy problem?!” cried Luna.

“My problem?” said Celestia, aghast. “What is your problem?! The guards told me that you hugged Spike all the way here, so why can't I have a few seconds of hugging!?”

Luna blushed, and rubbed her forelegs together. Celestia did have a point, but still...

“I... um.. we..” she slammed her hoof down. “Ahhh! Spike is ours, sister! And that is final!”

Celestia smirked, her eyes growing sharp.

“We'll just see about that, Lulu. We do have an entire weekend to win over Spike's heart, so we'll see just who Spike belongs to." she stuck out her hoof.

"May the best alicorn win."

Luna took the hoof, without hesitation, and shook it furiously.

"Oh, It. Is. ON!" she pulled Celestia close, and growled "By the end of this week, he will be mine."
