After a long war with an unknown enemy that left heavy casualties on all sides, Equestria is left clawing to mend together the peace that once reigned between the three races. With Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth Ponies now at each others throats over the fallout of the previous battle, it is up to the two Alicorn sisters to try and settle the common ground between them. Nearly a year has passed since the fighting stopped, and the uneasy treaty kept the ponies from destroying each other. All of their hard work is threatened, however, upon the discovery of an ancient artifact that in the wrong hands could resume the bloodshed once more. Desperate not to let their world unravel a second time, the two sisters call upon the help of the very ponies that despise one another in hopes that they can reforge the alliance that all of them once shared.
