'We're just getting started...' He wanted to question whatever godly voice was talking to him, but to no prevail.
"I see that you want to speak. I'm curious on to what you want to say," said the godly being.
Wait, he can read my thou-?
"Yes, I can see your thoughts. Try to speak."
All of a sudden, Jun felt his mouth begin to move, and the first question he wanted to ask slipped out. "What's going to happen now?"
The godly being chuckled. "You will find out soon," he said,"all in good time. Be patient, and the answers will come soon."
Jun felt a little unnerved at that sentence. He waited. What would he find out soon? He felt the feeling come back to his body. Phew, he thought, I was afraid is was gone indefinitely. Along with these feeling came a quick dizziness. He put a hand on his head, hoping it was temporary. And, for the second time in what seemed like 10 minutes, he blacked out.
Location: Ponyville, Equestria. Time: Evening
A group of ponies sat out on a field, waiting for the sun to go down so that they could see the stars. One of these ponies, a purple unicorn, by the name of Twilight Sparkle, was hoping that it would be the right evening to stargaze. Who knows, she thought, maybe we'll even see some shooting stars. As she sat down and adjusted her telescope, she didn't know how close she would be to the correct assumption.
Time: Nightfall
Jun finally woke to a painful feeling throughout his body. His hud booted up and started a health diagnostic check. Good, he thought, I can't feel my fingers. When he tried to stand up, he immediately fell onto his back. He looked down at his legs to find that he didn't have hands, or arms. In fact, he didn't really have anything familiar to his old body except for his armor. "Hey," he yelled looking up at the starlit sky,"is this some kind of fucking joke? What did you turn me into?"
Jun heard a whisper in his head. "I turned you into a pegasus. One of the three pony races of Equestria."
Jun's eye twitched slightly when he heard the word pegasus. Immediately after hearing that, he checked his back to find the very expected presence of wings. Seriously? He stood up, albeit on all fours, like a horse would. Just then, the spartan checked his surroundings, finding that he was in a crater in the middle of a jungle. Wait, crater? He didn't want to give it anymore thought. He already felt as if his head was about to explode. Then, tiredness seeped into his body. He crawled out of the crater, and sat against a tree. Well, he had his armor, combat knife, magnum, and much-loved sniper rifle. He was armed, to say the least. He let his head rest against the tree, and did something he had done quite a lot in the past. He slept.
Twilight was surprised when the meteor struck down in the Everfree forest. Excitement jolted through her body, instinctively sending her running towards the site.
"Come on girls," she yelled back to her friends. After what seemed like a 10 minute run from the field, she could see the area where the meteor should be.
Rainbow Dash looked over at her. "I'm going to check it out," she said, flying towards the crater. Twilight couldn't help but envy her wings at that moment. By the time she and the rest of the group made it there, Rainbow had halted at the edge of the crater waiting for her. Twilight stopped too, but something caught her eye. A specific something that she had never seen before. She took a moment to evaluate what was going on. It was leaning against the tree, but in the dark it was hard to see anything else. Unfortunately, before she could get any closer, Rainbow Dash flew towards it, before stopping right in front of it. She peered at what the reddish-orange slit before tapping it on the helmet. She flew back a few yards after it grunted.
Jun started to come awake from his slumber. He didn't want to admit it, but he was having a nightmare. Yeah, he thought, very spartan-like of you. He grunted after something tapped his helmet. He swore that he would explode if it was another nut from the tree above him. He opened his eyes, trying to blink the sleep out of them. Then he heard a gasp, followed by five others. He heard a voice, one that sounded as if it wasn't scared of him but was playing along anyways...
"Is it a robot?" ,said one bubbly voice. Another voice, more also belonging to what he assumed was a woman, said,"Maybe"
A third joined them. "Well I'm not scared of some stupid robot. I'll give it beating if it wakes up."
A fourth agreed. "I'll give it ah serious buck to the face. All y'all need to do is ask."
The tapping started on his visor this time. He was seriously losing his patience with these people. Right then, he decided to look up, and his mouth gaped open. What was in front of him was six multi-colored horses. Or ponies, whatever. He regained his composure in time to get whacked on the face. Luckily, thanks to his armor, he didn't even feel it. Then again, he started to feel sorry for whoever just did that, as it seriously pissed him off. He leapt to his hooves in a combat stance. Wait, hooves? Really Jun... He looked at the blue one, who he assumed was the one that hit him, and grabbed her neck. He then realized that he was about one and a half heads taller than any of the ponies here. He looked down at the blue one he had just put into a headlock, and then at the other ponies. They all stared at him, shocked. He looked down at the blue pegasus again and started to feel a little uncomfortable with what he had done. He set the pegasus down and looked her in the eyes and said the first thing that came to mind. To him, it was actually the most important thing.
"Don't ever wake me up like that again."
