It has been three years since the birth of Emerald Rose, she has never left Damen's side; yes he is over protective of her, but they have created this special bond between each other that I wish will never end. Damen, ever since we brought Emerald home for the first time, he would try to take care of her when she would cry. If it was something that only I could do, Damen would hand Emerald off to me and just stand there; waiting for me to finish. It was mainly when she needed to be fed; but when she started getting to the bottle, Damen took care of it.
When it was mother's day, I would sneak out of the house with Emerald Rose, and we would go places together. Rainbow Dash finally got to meet Emerald, after saving Equestria from destruction from Tirek. Rainbow and her friends now have a castle of their own in Ponyville, which is AWESOME!
I can't remember how much it hurt when Emerald was born, but I do remember holding her in my arms, and accepting Damen back into the family. I even remember his face when I told him Emerald's name. I love Emerald so much, and the times that I get to spend with her now since Damen started going back to work for a little while. He has been in plays, Emerald and I don't go along for the ride, but we try and encourage him through a television screen.
She loves her father so much; like I said, she was going to be a daddy's girl. When Damen gets home in a couple of weeks, it would be our four year anniversary of our marriage, and he said that he was going to drop Emerald off at his parent's house for the weekend, and it was going to be just him and I.
Damen has been sick a lot recently, and he hasn't gone to the doctor to get himself checked, he thinks it's just a cough. But I think that it isn't. If he leaves, I don't know what to do. Emerald Rose would be crushed! I just know it...
