Its been twenty years. Twenty years since the first signs of tiberium showed up on the planet Solarius. Fifteen years since the alien race known only as the Scrin showed up in Equestria, ushering in a new age of technological advancements as the ponies and their allies reacted to this dangerous threat. The Shining Armor Initiative was formed, a beacon of hope to the creatures of the world, a banner to rally to. After several years of hard fighting, the aliens are finally driven off of Solarius and they seem to have disappeared for good. Until the Deep Space Vessel Harmony picks up a weak distress signal from an unidentified planet. The Scrin are attacking the locals there without mercy, and Twilight Sparkle's Arcane Talons get called in to do some heavy lifting. Unfortunately, this is all playing directly into the Scrin's plans…
