Slowly, very slowly I can feel myself falling into the realms of unconsciousness as i hear the faint sound of what i can barely make out as the sound of hooves on the ground. I could faintly hear bits and pieces of their conversation as they said something about a zebra and a potion that would allow them to talk to animals just like someone named "FlutterShy". From what I could tell there were about six of them and there current path would lead them right by me. I couldn't move at all and it was a struggle to even breathe, so at that point i decided to just breathe and hope they can somehow help me, that is if they do actually find me. Before i fall into the clutches of unconsciousness i let out a weak and pathetic little growl, and then I fell.
"Um, girls did you hear something?" asked the already timid fluttershy.
"A'hm sure it was nothin' flutters, you're probly just hearin things." said the farmer.
"Uh AJ, I don't think she was hearing things cause i heard it to" said the egotistical rainbow dash with a small hint of nervousness.
"And I as well." said the spiffy(Bitchy) seamstress with a look of worry.
"It sorta sounded like a small growl or something" said everyone's favorite bookworm.
"If it was a growl i'm not sure what it was then, cause i haven't heard anything like that in my life" said fluttershy.
"Pinkie what are you doing?" asked rainbow.
"Hey! Someone spilled ketchup over here! Who would waste ketchup?" Pinkie said tilting her head with a small frown.
"What are you talking about pinkie? Wait ketchup?" twilight said walking over to pinkie's side with fluttershy in tow. As soon as they came up to pinkie they almost lost their lunch at the scene.
There was "ketchup" all over the ground behind a bush that lead to another bush that was leaking it out from the bottom. When applejack and rainbow dash walked over their faces turned as white as rarity's coat and rarity ALMOST fainted on her fainting couch.
"Hang on do you hear that?" *ragged breathes in and out* "It sounds like breathing, c'mon let's check it out." said pinkie bouncing over to the bush but got stopped half way.
"Um, pinkie do you even know where the sound is coming from? Or what is breathing?" asked twilight.
"Well duh, it's coming from over there" she said pointing over in the direction of the bush that appeared to be bleeding."As for what is breathing I'm not really sure, but i would like to figure it out though" said pinkie.
"Well could you at least wait for us so we can see too" said twilight
" *gasp* what if an animal is hurt and it needs help! " exclaimed fluttershy as she started to run up to the bush. without realizing that the bush is in fact a thorn bush she just grabbed it (i still don't get how they can grab anything with hooves!) but as soon as she touched it she recoiled back from the pain.
"Fluttershy are you okay?!" asked twilight
"I'm okay, but what about the animal that's stuck in there is hurt?" said fluttershy. "I can't move the bush though these thorns are like an inch long!"
"You do know i can use magic right?" said twilight. "I could just move the bush out of the way."
"Well could you hurry it up a bit an animal is hurt and needs help!" exclaimed fluttershy
"Alright gimme a sec" said twilight as she departed the troublesome thorn bush. What they saw next was not what any of them expected to see.
"What is that?" asked twilight as she gave the creature a puzzled look.
"Don't look like anything I've seen before." said the farmer looking towards rainbow who just stood there and said "Me either."
"Wow, he's hurtin' bad." said twilight as fluttershy started to look him over for wounds.
"Huh, there aren't any wounds on him." said fluttershy " At least on this side of him, lemme flip'em over" said twilight as the creatures body started to glow a faint lavender as well as her horn. as she flipped the body over they all could only stare at the creatures side as they saw that it had sustained several deep scratches along its side.
" We can't just leave him here, let's bring him to Zecora and maybe she could help somehow, we are only half way to her hut." said rainbow dash
"AGREED!" the girls said
"Besides we're probably late." said rarity
"And we still need to help her find the ingredients she needs to make that potion." said pinkie
"Alright now that that's been decided who's gonna carry him?" asked rarity
"Thanks for volunteering rares" said AJ
"How am i going to pick that THING up?" rarity said looking at the farmer pony
"Magic, duh" AJ replied swiftly
"You know what i'll carry him" said twilight as she picked the body back up with her magic and started walking off in the direction of zecora's hut. "Coming?"
" Ya were coming." said AJ as she started walking next to twilight.
Zacora's hut.
"Zacora we're here!" shouted twilight as they came within 5 feet of the hut.
"Ah my friends what has caused you all to be late this day?"asked zacora as she started to walk out of the hut. when she was out of the hut she saw that they were gathered around a small area with worried faces directed towards the whatever was in the center and her.
"Um miss zacora how good are you at healing and all that stuff?" asked fluttershy as she started to walk up to zacora with the most worried and adorable face ever!"Ah lucky you i have actually made a potion or two of healing just in case for when we collect the ingredients..." said zacora as she comforted fluttershy."oh thank you zacora." replied fluttershy as she started to bounce like pinkie while shaking her hoof."now whom is it that needs healing for i see no wounds on anyone." asked zacora with a face of major confusion, then she had a face of realization as she figured it was not a who that needs healing but what needs healing."so who is it needs healing?" she asked as she started to walk up to twilight, when everyone moved a step backwards so zacora could see she could not believe her eyes as she saw what everyone was blocking. It resembled the look of a timberwolf but instead of being wood and magic it had flesh and what looked to be fur all over it. As soon as she noticed the blood she said what came to mind first. "Quickly follow me and bring him with you." everyone followed zacora and twilight brought the creature in with her magic. "Now set him on the table and let put some ingredients together to make him a nice bath." said zacora as she started to rummage through her many types of herbs and potions as she put them all together in a big pot."Zacora i'm sure it needs a bath but can you heal it first?" said rarity as she looked at what she was doing."I assure you this is not a bath for that of cleansing but of healing." said zacora as she began to finish up making the water."The water is ready, but i don't think it would be wise to move him again, let us try this instead." said zacora as she started to pour the healing water over the body of the creature. as she poured the water the creature's body began to slowly close all wounds on its side but the blood was still on the body."It appears that the potion has done it job and we need to wait for it to come into consciousness." said the zebra."Um I am mighty relieved that the potion worked, but could we possibly give it a bath to clean the blood off it." said rarity as she almost threw up her previous meal."That would be very nice to clean him off but what if he wakes while we clean him, he might think we were trying to drown him." said fluttershy as she looked the creature over."We will have to take that chance because that smell is starting to become overwhelming." said dash looking towards twilight."Well we could take it with us as we help zacora find the rest of the ingredients she needs for that potion that will let us possibly talk to it."said AJ as she and dash started an arm-wrestling match."We could bring him i do not mind for when we get there, there is a river where you could clean him off." said zacora as she put on her satchels and motioned the rest to follow. _________________________________________________________________________________________
"We have arrived, the river is to the left behind the big bush over there."said zacora as she started to walk into a clearing that had an assortment of colors all over.
"I'll go with fluttershy and help her clean the blood off it."said twilight
"We can't keep calling it, well 'IT'... zacora you keep saying him and he are you sure its a male?" said rainbow while looking between the creature zacora and twilight.
"I know for sure that he is a male." answered zacora while she started to pick some white and purple flowers.
"Alright c'mon fluttershy let's go clean 'him' up."said twilight as she began to walk for the river.
"Wow he has alot of blood on him do you think just putting him in the water will rinse it out?" asked fluttershy as she began to gag by just looking at the bloodied creature.
"Um I don't think that will get all of it, we might have to rub some out of his fur." said twilight as they walked up to the river edge. when the walked in deep enough twilight lowered the creature into the water and the water turned red with how much blood began to come of his fur and into the water, both fluttershy and twilight threw up at the sight of so much blood at once. As soon as they finished throwing up they began to just look on as the blood just kept coming off at the rate it was going it seemed that it was not going to stop anytime soon so they just kept a look out for any danger while keeping an eye on the creature."Hey fluttershy are you sure you haven't seen anything like this creature before?" asked twilight while she looked back at the creature. "I haven't seen anything like this creature before and i hope that i can talk to it." said fluttershy as the constant blood going into the river seemed to slow down to just enough to color the water pinkish."well it looks like now we have to rub the rest off of him so it doesn't stay."said twilight as she walked right up to it and looked back at fluttershy."Um do I have to touch it? The blood makes me abit queasy." said fluttershy "C'mon fluttershy this is to help an animal remember?" responded twilight while looking at fluttershy, once fluttershy was reminded that it was to help an animal she walked right into the water and made her way over to twilight and the still undetermined creature.
When they started rubbing the rest of the blood out of his fur they both noticed how well built he was. he had not a pound of fat on him he was all muscle."WOW fluttershy are you feeling this?" exclaimed twilight as they rubbed "YA! this is amazing he must be really strong!" fluttershy exclaimed back. once all of the blood was washed out twilight brought him out of the water and dried him off, once that was done they went to check on the others and see if they were ready to leave. "Girls are you all done?" asked fluttershy as they walked out from behind the bush. when they saw that the others were packing up and or getting ready to leave when AJ answered back "Yes we are done fluttershy you guys came back just in time." "Well shall we go?" asked fluttershy as she looked back towards the creature. "What's wrong flutters?" asked AJ. "We need to get back quick he moved when we were walking back here." said fluttershy "Then we need to get back now!" yelled rainbow they all started to jog back to zacora's hut. they were back at the hut in 5 minutes and within the five minutes the creature moved twice "Zacora how long will it take to make the potions for us?" asked Asked twilight while they all watched the creature stir in its sleep."It will take only a minute to put them together if i had a little help."said zacora while she looked through her shelves and her satchels. "I'll help zacora you keep an eye on the creature or whatever it is."said rainbow. Twilight went back and looked over the others and the creature fluttershy was sitting next to it applejack was on the other side of it and pinkie was being pinkie.
"Soooo, when do you think it will wake up? do you think it likes cake? I bet you he does."Pinkie began to ramble off what kind of cake she thinks he might like. As pinkie was rambling fluttershy and twilight had some idle chat while watching the creature in its sleep, this time though when they watched him stir he also let out a small growl and tried to sit up but he was still out when he fell back down."RAINBOW DASH, ZACORA we need those potions done like now he's trying to get up!" yelled twilight as she went in the hut to look for applejack. Applejack was looking around the hut at all the weird looking masks that zacora had lying around but when she heard that the creature moved she immediately went to the room that zacora and dash were in and when she got there she helped them take all the potions outside so everyone could drink them. "APPLEJACK where are you?" yelled twilight "A'hm already out here twi!" yelled back AJ."Oh that works out for me then." she whispered to herself. once twilight was back out side she and the others circled around the animal and zacora began passing potions to everyone but flutters. "Once the creature wakes we should give him some space." everyone took a step back and fluttershy began to gingerly poke the creature, it stirred but did not wake then she poked it a bit more hard then he began to move quite a bit first he moved so he wasn't laying on his side but was upright and just laying down with his head down. then he began to let out a small growl and began to stretch.
OOooh ya that felt good... huh? How am i not dead?
