When Crusading in a forest, the three young Cutie Mark Crusaders meet a cloaked mare that offers to show them what their cutie marks, talents, and entire future will be in exchange for one simple favor-let her extract a portion of their souls for her own personal uses. It seems simple and harmless to the young foals, only seven years old. They are told they won't feel it, and that nothing will be different about them after it is done. But they do not know that the cloaked figure has evil plans-for the magic she has withdrawn from the three foals. Plans that will lead to the destruction of the Crusaders, everyone they love and know, and Equestria itself.
Now the Crusaders must right the wrongs they have done by ridding the cloaked figure of her power. After all, only they can save Equestria now.
