Automaton Soul

You take the filly's offer and proceed up the staircase, you push the oak door open and the light of the sun greets you through a window just ahead. You are in a small shack, old battered wood barely holds the place together. You are in a kitchen as far as one could tell with the counters surrounding empty spaces where a stove and refrigerator could fit. The home has no furnishings and if it weren't for the filly in the basement you would assume it abandoned.

The filly follows you, "I had to build in secret, not because it would be frowned upon, but in order to expand your options, I decided nopony should know about you."

The field outside is full of tall weeds and it's hard to see where you might end up if you head through. With the birds chirping outside so vigorously you determine it must be morning, meaning the house is facing east. Which way to go?

The filly takes a sharp breath, "I have things to do now." She trots out the door and heads east.
