There the Ancient Lords were placed and locked away, and left to slumber since that day
When they converged on a world like any other
Where parent found child and sister fought brother

The corpse brought madness, The soul brought decay
And the tree arrived and locked them away.

They watched the rise and fall of nations and herds
From the beyond the veil where their calls were unheard

For there they slumbered at the end of their age
And two of them waited to escape their cage

The dragon who stood in the place of the sky
Slowly awakened and prepared for his rise.

He turned in the dreams of the ponies and became their minds blight
And soon corrupted the second queen of night.
But his plan failed to depose the lesser divines
So he focused on the six puppet equines

Six little ponies who saved many lives
One was lost in slumber and then there were five

Five little ponies that marched off to war
One became what she fought and then there were four

Four little ponies, through chaos they were freed
History was repeated and then there were three

Three little ponies who mourned the moon
A family was abandoned and then there were two

Two little ponies who hid with the sun
One's children were saved and then there was one

One little pony who gave up her run
She simply gave in and then there were none
