Demons, Reapers and Ponies
"Uhm...hello!" Twilight replied to the stranger. Her friends remained silent behind her, as his appearance slightly frightened them. He chuckled deeply, and gestured a hand out to Twilight.
"How do you do?" The male asked, smile slightly gentler. "My name is Adrian, but I go by 'Undertaker'." He introduced himself. Twilight had never heard such an...ordinary name. But the nickname he claimed to go by was something they may have heard in their dimension. Twilight took his hand with a slight reluctance.
"My name is..." She took a moment. She didn't know how to cover her actual name. Swap a few letters around, possibly? No, too overly complicated. She glanced around the room, hopeful to find something. To her delight, a tag on one of the coffins in the floor read "Tabitha Sonny". She quickly took credit of the first name, and decided to think of a last one if need be. "Tabitha," She finally finished her sentence.
After introducing herself, Twilight gestured to her friends. She called them by anything she could find in the shop. The coffins had first and last names that could cover for her friends. She called her friends Paisley (Pinkie Pie), Fionna (Fluttershy), Raiya (Rainbow Dash), AJ (Twilight didn't find this name anywhere, she just took Applejack's nickname and used it as her cover name.), and Rebecca (Rarity).
Undertaker looked over the girls, and soon had a smirk on his face. "You six add so much...colour to this shop." He commented. Indeed, the girls found the scenery dark and dreary compared to what they were used to. Pinkie, or Paisley soon came up to Undertaker and had such an entertained smile on her face. Almost as if she enjoyed all of this confusion.
"We come from a very high-spirited place!" She squeaked. Undertaker found her tone of voice so amusing, he cracked a wider smile, and a laugh. The laugh seemed to only frighten the girls-except for Pinkie-a bit more. Before she could reply, they heard a bell jingle. They all turned their attention to the entrance, to find two males standing and looking at the girls with utterly bemused expressions.
"Hi!" Pinkie greeted with her high-spirited smile. The taller, seemingly darker male scanned over her with his eyes. His dark hair fell perfectly to frame his pale face. His burgundy eyes met the girls with an unsure glare. He had a long, black coat on.
"Hello," He replied, and his voice caught Fluttershy's attention. The deepness and slight accent to it seemed to sexually turn her on. She found herself peering right over her shoulder just to get a quick look at him. But that "quick look" lasted a bit longer than she wanted it to. Though he seemed for serious and...thicker-skinned than herself, she loved how he had kept a steady attitude.
"Ah, Lord Phantomhive and Sebastian!" Undertaker chuckled. "What brings you two here?" He asked. But it took a bit before he got a reply from them. The shorter male, whom he seemed Undertaker had called "Lord Phantomhive" had a navy blue tint to his hair. He had an eye patch, semi-formal clothing, and his eyes were a mere darker azure blue than the girls were used to witnessing. His eyes grew wide at the girls' appearances.
Undertaker almost immediately noticed that they had all attention on the girls. "Sebastian, Lord Phantomhive, these girls are...new in town," He spoke. They then turned back to him.
"New, are they?" The shorter male-Lord Phantomhive-asked, a smirk on his face. Twilight's eyes widened at them.
"Twilight...?" Fluttershy rasped.
She turned her attention to her friend. "Yes, Fluttershy?" She asked.
"Do you know these people...?"
"Honestly...no,"
Their murmured conversation was cut short, after they heard a voice directed to them say: "Do you ladies have anyplace to stay?". Twilight turned to that see Lord Phantomhive had asked the question. She suddenly felt a bit nervous.
"N-No..." She stammered. Lord Phantomhive looked to Sebastian, then back to Twilight.
"You ladies are welcome to stay at my manor," He replied. "What are your names?" He asked. Twilight again introduced them as their cover names. He then nodded a bit, and Sebastian gestured a hand to Twilight.
"You ladies are welcome to stay as long as you like," He spoke, once again sexually attracting Fluttershy. "I will be your escort. But the ride back to the manor will have to wait, as it is crucial we speak with the Undertaker," He added sincerely.
"Are you sure we won't be any bother?" Twilight asked, unsure about this situation.
"It isn't any bother, really," Sebastian replied. "It's just pure Phantomhive hospitality," He added.
After about twenty minutes spent at Undertaker's shop, the six girls were escorted to the regal manor that is the Phantomhive Manor. Sebastian explained that he merely the butler, and the other three were the servants. Their names given Mey-Rin, Tanaka, Bardroy, and Finnian. They were shown to their guest rooms, and Rarity couldn't help but notice every fine detail in the manor. She murmured everything that caught her eye to herself.
When the girls settled in a bit, they noticed how late it was actually getting. They all looked into the wardrobe's, hoping to find something provided for guests. To their luck, they all found something. Twilight found a tank top and pants that barely made it past her knees. They were satin, and orchid. She looked herself over in the mirror. She wanted to put her hair up a bit, and found a rubber band in the bedside table drawer. She took the band, and tied her extremely long hair up in a slightly less long ponytail. She then laid back in the bed, and glanced around the room to see if she could find a novel of some sort. She soon found a small bookcase, and pulled out a mystery book. She laid back on the bed, and cracked open the book.
Rarity found a silk, white mini-gown. The spaghetti straps laid gently on her shoulders, and the gown only came over her private area only slightly. Her hair fell around her, and she decided to leave it as is. "My goodness, they do very well!" She commented to herself, smiling at her reflection in the mirror. Rainbow Dash had hoped that nothing girly would be found in her wardrobe. Luckily, she was greeted to a button-up, short sleeve, light blue top and matching shorts. She also found a rubber band, but on her vanity, and put her hair up in a messy bun.
"This is much better" She exclaimed, and fell back on the bed. Pinkie Pie found a long sleeved, pastel pink top and matching pants. They were relatively thin, hoping to keep her cool while still keeping warm under the blankets. Her curly mane of hair was now in two separate ponytails. She scanned herself in her mirror, and stretched a bit. She didn't comment, she just plopped right in bed.
Applejack was greeted to pajamas similar to Rainbow Dash's, but her's was a short gown like Rarity's. Her's was white, with an orange plaid. Her sleeves were short, and had three buttons on top that she chose to leave undone. She changed her hairstyle to one single, long braid. She curled up in bed, and laid back. Fluttershy was greeted with a longer sleeved, but short gown. She didn't look herself in the full body mirror, but sat at the vanity. She pulled all her hair over one shoulder, and ran her fingers through her hair.
The whole time, she thought of the attractive butler. She looked over her face over and over, her hair still being brushed out with her slender fingers. What she didn't know is that Sebastian had began walking down the hallway to check on the girls. He found that five of them were sound asleep. But as he knocked on Fluttershy's door, she didn't even think when she said "Come in,".
"Is everything to your liking?" Sebastian asked. She glanced in the mirror to see him, and her eyes widened.
Twilight Sparkle was walking through the royal hall, as she approached Princess Celestia upon her throne. "You wanted to see me, Princess?" She asked, slightly tense. Princess Celestia doesn't call Twilight to the palace very often. She remembered Spike reading that it was urgent.
"Yes, Twilight," Princess Celestia began, her tone was grim. "Its the magic mirror. We've detected something wrong with it. Its becoming more and more breakable, and fragile," She began explaining.
"Mirrors are naturally fragile, but how much more fragile is it now?" She asked. Celestia exhaled heavily.
"Enough to the point where if you much as tap the glass, it would shatter." She replied. "This mirror is suppose to be an almost unbreakable glass, but its been a while since we've used it." She added. It was true it had been nearly two years since the mirror had been used, but why must it become more fragile if it isn't been used?
"Do you have any idea why its become more fragile?" Twilight asked, befuddled.
"Unfortunately, Luna and I have had trouble figuring it out. Not even Cadence or Shining Armor could figure it out!" Celestia replied.
There was a silence, until Twilight broke it with a sigh. "Would you like my friends and I to take a look at it?" She asked. Celestia's frown then curved into a faint smile.
"If you think you might be able to figure out the mystery in this, then yes." She said. Twilight then nodded, and walked out of the throne room. On her way out of the palace, she decided to skip taking the train and fly back to Ponyville. She knew it might drain her energy, but it could be worth it.
After Twilight got back to Ponyville, her back ached from carrying her weight in the sky. She had Spike write separate letters to her five friends, saying to meet her at the library and that it was crucial they hurry.
"Why so urgent, Twilight?" Spike asked her.
"Just write it, Spike!" Twilight snapped. Spike shrugged, and wrote down what Twilight had told him. After all five letters had been written, Spike sent them via fireballs. Twilight laid on her bed, letting her wings rest from flying from Canterlot to Ponyville.
"What was it that Celestia called you to the palace for anyway?" Spike asked. Twilight narrowed her eyes at him, but then a deep sigh escaped her lips.
"She called me about the mirror that sent me to the human world," Twilight answered him, barely any emotion in her voice.
"What's wrong with it?" Spike continued. Must you ask so much? Twilight thought, and she looked in Spike's eyes.
"Its becoming more fragile. We don't know why, but we intend to find out. The girls better get here soon," She replied, slightly annoyed by Spike's constant questioning. Just as Twilight was getting comfortable on her bed, there was a knock on the door. Twilight groaned, and trotted out of the bed, downstairs and to the door.
"That must be them..." She muttered, using her magic to open the door. It was the five friends.
"We got your message. What was so urgent?" Applejack asked, utterly befuddled by her friends sudden letter about a recent predicament.
"It's the magic mirror," The purple alicorn replied, a bit shaky. "I met with Princess Celestia earlier, and she spoke about it become more and more fragile by the day!" She added, a bit more frantic.
"Silly Twilight!" Pinkie laughed. "Every mirror is fragile!" She chuckled, finding her statement humorous.
"I know that Pinkie!" Twilight scoffed in response. "But it's getting increasingly fragile!" She added.
"Oh..." The pink pony replied.
Twilight simply nodded. "She explained that a simple tap could shatter it!" She said. Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow.
"It's magic," She remarked. "Can't it fix itself?" She inquired.
Twilight shook her head. "I'm afraid that's not how magic works." She sighed. "It's such an ancient mirror, it was bound to happen at some point. But it being recently used must have seriously weakened it."
"Obviously!" Rarity scoffed. "Besides, the mirror hasn't had any proper T.L.C.," She added, flipping her curly main out of her face.
"What can we do?" Fluttershy asked in her naturally rasped voice.
Twilight took a moment to let her inquiry settle in. "We can attempt to fix it," She suggested. The five murmured among themselves, then nodded to their friend.
And off they were, returning to the fabulous and rather regal place known as Canterlot. Rarity was distracted on their way to the castle by the other ponies' fine jewels and clothing. That eventually leading to Rainbow Dash taking her by the tail and dragging her along. Soon, they arrived to the castle, and they went into the secret room that housed the mirror.
"That gorgeous piece!" Rarity cried in diva-like sorrow. "It looks dingy! Why don't they have servants to care for this magnificent art!" She added critically. In her mindset, a mirror was a form of "art". Rainbow Dash and Applejack rolled their eyes, turning their attention back to Twilight. The purple alicorn inspected the mirror carefully.
"It's showing it's age...such a pity," She commented, looking into her reflection. Pinkie Pie was bouncing in place next to Fluttershy. A bit confused, the pale yellow pegasus inquired Pinkie's jitters.
"I'm recovering from a Sugar Rush!" She squealed. Fluttershy looked somewhat worried at her friend.
"Well, be careful. Don't get too close to the mirror!" She spoke, eyes lightly closed as she thought to herself as she spoke. But she didn't notice Pinkie bounce toward Twilight.
"Gosh!" Pinkie squeaked. "IT looks so old!" She added, a painful looking smile across her face. Twilight turned her head to her, eyes widened.
"Pinkie! Not so close! You're bouncing and it might-" She was cut off by Pinkie's jitters carrying her only slightly closer to the mirror. Her mane only touched the glass for a second, and crash! The mirror burst into about three dozen pieces! The only bright side: It wasn't as many as Twilight first anticipated. Pinkie was pushed back by the burst of the mirror, and had fallen to the floor. But now, her jitters decreased.
All of the mares gasped in shock. Pinkie looked guilty. "Sorry, Twilight..." She sighed. Twilight bite her lip.
"Your apology is the least of our worries." She commented. "For now, we have to fix this mirror!" She cried. So they all began helping Twilight piece it all back together. They didn't have to use any source of adhesive, for they all magically stuck together. However, cracks were visible. In a matter of minutes, they were done and was looking round the room for any missing pieces.
"Well, that's done..." Twilight sighed with relief.
"Maybe we should go through to test it!" Pinkie suggested. Twilight thought for a moment, then nodded.
"Alright." She said. So they all lined up, starting with Twilight. But as she stuck her hoof through, a huge vortex shot through the mirror, and they were all sucked in! They went through a teleportation tunnel violently.
The six all fell onto a cold floor in a poorly lit room. Rarity landed onto Twilight, Fluttershy on Applejack, and Pinkie on Rainbow Dash. All soon recovering from their falls, they found themselves in a gothic-looking room. Coffins laid in the room, and different minor details gave the presence of the room an uneasy one.
"Twilight!" Rarity gasped. "Where are your wings!?" She exclaimed. Twlight's eyes widened.
"I-I'ts just this..." She began. but trailed off as she realized she was in a different place. "universe...?" She finished questionably. Rarity looked surprised at her.
"It this not the same place you landed two years ago?" She asked. Twilight turned over on her back, and looked at what she could see in the mirror.
"I look different..." She spoke, looking to her friends. They were all attired differently. In fact, their body structure was different! She lifted a (what should have been) hoof, seeing the same five separations and fleshy pad as she used to. But now was peach-colored. So was the rest of her friends. The only differences was the hair, eyes, and attire with the six.
"My my, look at what we've become!" Rarity gasped. All the others started looking over themselves, utterly confused. Twilight stood up on her two feet, and noticed she was wearing an orchid, dressy top with a darker shaded skirt, the design of her cutiemark was now barren on her right shoulder (which was slightly exposed) instead of both sides of her flank. She was also wearing knee-high white socks and purple six-inch heels. Her hair was straight, now only dark violet, and flowed to the end of her plot.
"I look like a prissy-little-missy!" Applejack commented, looking at the ivory, strapless crop-top and high-body tight orange plaid skirt. She even had orange, six-inch ankle boots. Her blonde hair was now in two long braids that showed in the front, her eyes more vivid colored than before. She must have lost her hat before they left, because she didn't have it. Her cutiemark laid in the same place as Twilight's was.
"I LOOK LIKE A GIRLY GIRL!!!" Rainbow Dash cried in despair. She was wearing a crop-top that showed her shoulder and had short sleeves, and had a white, breast slip under it, as it showed through the black lace up in her breast region. She wore a normal height, mini-skirt. She wore knee-high boots (six-inch), that were pure black. Her hair was now just electric blue, and her cutiemark showed on her collarbone. Her magenta eyes glowed in the reflection for herself. "THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!" She added, covering her eyes with her hands. Applejack rubbed her back.
Fluttershy took a moment to gather her thoughts about herself. Her dress had puffed sleeves, and came down her half her thigh. Her shoes were six-inch heels, and bright pink. She had thigh-high, white stockings that connected to her panties. The bit of string that connected them slightly shown. Her hair was a baby pink and pulled back into a long ponytail, and her eyes rested easily with the same color of cyan they have always remained. Her cutiemark also shown on her collarbone.
"I look..." She rasped. "So...confident..." She added, placing a gentle hand on her face. Rarity scanned over herself. Her hair was let down, eyes glimmered, and bright violet curls emerged from each end of her hair. She was wearing a tight, strapless, solid white dress. It laced up from the midsection and up. Thankfully, her pale skin under was covered by a white slip under her dress. She was also wearing thigh-highs, her string showing a bit more than Fluttershy's. Her shoes were baby blue and about as high as her stockings, and covered them completely (again, also six inches). Her cutiemark rested atop her breast, making it only slightly visual.
Pinkie jumped up, and looked at herself in the mirror. She had a bright yellow throw-over, and a bright pink, half-thigh long dress. It was aligned with light blue lace, and her shoes were both pale yellow. Her hair was puffy, thick, and dark pink. Her eyes remained normal. She cocked her head to the side, scanning herself over and over. Until she noticed a taller, manly figure in the background.
"Who's that, Twilight?" She asked, pointing in the reflection to a man with silver hair, a braid weaved into it. Long bangs covered his eyes, and a black top hat sat atop his head. He wore a black cloak, and his nails were black and extremely long. He smiled a painfully wide smile at the girls.
"Why, hello ladies!" He greeted, an eerie chuckle followed.
