The brutish hippogryph Gander has decided to settle down in Equestria for the time being, to learn more of himself and his peaceful pony kin. What he discovers is that not all ponies are sugar and spice, and even the brightest of lights cast a long shadow. When a new threat finds its way into the hectic downtown heart of Baltimare, the griffon-raised warrior will find his strength put to the test.
