Draak Ethrim;the werepony
I woe up regularly,not expecting anything special.I looked outside of my designated treehouse,and i saw a surprisingly plasent and calm view.Usually the wolves should be hunting by now.Oh well,i thought.As i got up and actually stared for a bit,i noticed their were blue flowers to the side,and a few rose bushes too.the sun was just rising.and the animals of the everfree were quite happy.Time to change that.Those cute bastards...
I walked outside,where most wolves should be up by now.I shrugged,after all,even wolves have bad nights.They must be sleeping late,i presume.As i walk to my usual hunting territory,their was many livestock and fresh,large game to kill.Naturally,i took advantage of this,I went low to the ground,hiding in the tall grass i was in.I set my eyes on a good sized deer.I walked closer,closer,being as quiet as i can.As i approach the creature with silence and swiftness,I evntually close in on the unsespecting fodder and jump on it,causing chaos to the species.I bite down hard on its succulent and thick neck,ignoring the stampede of scared and now retreating horde of fodder,livestock,and eventually the useless,weak,and now dea creature gives in,it falls to the ground.
I howl in victory,but no one replies.This is unusual,i thought.No one should be sleeping this late...and then it clicked.They either left,or the gaurdd finally know where we live...and that bitch of a princess killed my kind.To find which of these were true,i sniffed the air,tried to find paw prints,a trsil,animal carcasses,anything to help me find what i called a family.But to no avail,i realized...my family...no,KIND...is gone.Come to think of it,i never really had a physical resemblence to wolves...but that didnt matter...our minds were one...and i was infuriated that those equine BASTARDS took the one thing i had as a family away...i must have revenge!
I went back to my territory,made a makeshift sack,carried anything to provide for my basic needs.I then sharpened my claws,fangs,and my senses by meditating.I decided it was time to leave.As i walked out of the now lonely treehouse,a familiar pony walks up to me.
"Not this bitch again...i have enough to deal with"
"Umm...hello?anypony here?"Fluttershy quietly asked.She wasnt worth my time,but i need her out of my way anyways.
"what do you need,Fluttershy?"I never reallyliked her,bu she was someone to talk to,i guess.The only reason i talk to her is because most animals are fond of her,and the pack seemed to enjoy her company.
"oh umm...hello,draak.i came to trade with your pack agai-"I growled at her.
"They're dead,now if thats all,then leave and dont expect any animals or livestock to be here."
Fluttershy,it being in her nature,began to tear up and make sobbing noises."I...I didnt know.I-Im so sorry...m...may i at least say happy birthday to you by...giving you a present?"
I was familiar to pony traditions of birthdays and such,but i never really did anything most ponies do.other then spewk there language."Whoopty do,im six now.But if you must,then i accept this so called present"
The filly blushes"O-ok..."She begins to make a strange fiah face and touches her lips on my cheek.I think its called a kiss.
"Listen i dont have time for this fluttershy i have to take care of business."I begin to walk away,annoyed at her.She puts her head down and the last time i see her,as i look back one final time,she cries in the now cloudy sky,looking like its about to rain.I shrug,not caring about her feelings,as if they matter.
I continue on to a thick wooded area,and i begin to walk through a dark,eerie part of the everfree forest.which to me was bullshit.Their was thick green lush vegetation everywhere,and a mulberry tree grew to my left.again i shrugged,being a carnivore.A pain in my chest began to form.It wasnt a physical pain.I began to have memories of my pack and i having great times and all the time we spent together.I began to remember all of my struggles i suffered with them,my hardships,my pain,my fears,everything.
My lips began to quiver,and all anger faded away.I didnt want to kill celetia anymore,i didnt want any revenge anymore,i didnt want to make anyone pay,i wanted that strange,warm feeling back,and as i thought more about this feeing,i began to notice that my sack was on the ground,and i had stopped moving.And as i sat there,forgetting everything about killing celestia and revenge,i fall to the ground,and shed a tear,a lump starts to form in my throat,and i begin to give in to this pain,i begin to make those sounds that fluttershy made when she was sad.I was crying.
I wailed loud and hard,it started to downpour,soaking my mane and fur.not caring about anything else,as i was laying there,on my side,useless,and pathetic,i begin to rock back and forth.
"GIVE ME BACK MY FAMILY!!!"I cried out to the world,to anyone,even celestia,to awnser mycall,but no one awnsered my desperate call.
"I WANT MY MOM!MY DAD!ALL OF THEM!!!"I yelled out to the world in a mixture of anger,and this new feeling ofwhat is called sadness.
I then noticed someone was petting my head,Was it my pack?What i called a family?Did they somehow survive?Or maybe,maybe they werent attacked at all.Maybe it just rained last night,and they got lost.I looked up,and my sadness was reviving,finding it was fluttershy,with tears in her eyes as well.I just stared at her.After the way i treat her,after how i made her cry...shes still...shes still with me.
"Its ok...Its ok...shh...i-i liked them,too,draak...you dont have to hide it..."She said in her usual calm,gentle voice which by now,was the most beautiful voice ive heard to calm me.
"I-i-i dont understand wh-why you still care for me"I hang my head down,ashamed to look the mare in her eyes.
"oh draak,its because i understand everything you went through...shh...its ok..."
I mustve cried for at least a half hour,i only stopped because i began to lose conciusness.And as i fall asleep,fluttershy,simply smiles and lay down with me.The sadness was going away.And that good,warm,and comfforting feeling came back.Could fluttershy be causing this feeling?As my mind was racing thoughts through my head,i realized what that wwrm feeling was.I was feeling love.
