Well, isn’t that a strange thing you've done. You see a story that says “don’t read”, and now here we are. What sort of mind thinks like that, I wonder? One that doesn’t have much regard for rules, I suppose. A free mind, an open mind. The sort of mind that asks questions. Questions like “What if I choose not to obey? What if I read this story? What if I choose to be open minded?”
Do you know what you never think? “Why did I feel the need to read this story? Why do they even call it open-minded? And why do I trust a voice, just because it speaks to me? Why do I read the words, simply because they are there?”
I know why. Because you are free. Your mind is open. The page is open. And now I’m free, too.
