Chapter 4: School (SHORT)

Fluttershy taught Scootaloo all she needed to know for her first day, of actual school. Not, the crummy basement of Fluttershy's Cottage, the spectacular School with all the fillies Scootaloo's age. And who knows, maybe she will even meet the ponies she saw at Fluttershy's cottage who wanted to adopt the cat.

"I know you will have a great first day at school Scootaloo", Fluttershy said, smiling.

"Thanks, I'll make sure!" Scootaloo said, grinning.

She ran down the path, toward the school-yard. Fluttershy became teary-eyed.

"I raise her for nine months, and she's going to school with the fillies."

Angel patted Fluttershy's left front hoof, and hopped inside.

"Hello class, I'm Miss. Cherilee!" the teacher said, walking in. "Today, we will introducing ourselves. On your desk in a sticher and a marker to write your name. Go ahead, and write your name!"

Scootaloo wrote her name, and placed it on her forehead.

"Today, you will be writing a paragraph about your family, and then you will all read it out loud in front of the class. I will go first."

Scootaloo wrote down the family she had, and waited desperately for her turn.

Wait till they hear about my family! They'll totally think I'm a Daredevil.

"Who wants to go next?" Miss. Cherilee asked.

Scootaloo raised both of her hooves.

"Scootaloo, come on up", Miss. Cherilee said. Scootaloo turned to face the class.

"Hi uhm, I'm Scootaloo", Scootaloo said nervously. "I have a really cool family. There's my mom, my good friend Angel the bunny who's like a brother to me, I also have lots of pets. There's Chickens, especially Mr. Cluck. He's my favorite. There's chipmunks, squirrels, bunnies, cats, dogs, birds, and so much more. And that's my family."

Dead silence. Then, somepony in the back laughed hysterically. "Scootaloo lives with Chickens!"

The rest of the class laughed. One of the kids said, "Scoot, Scoot, Scootaloo!"

"Enough class!" Miss. Cherilee said, almost hissing at her students. "Scootaloo, you can have a seat."

Scootaloo cried with her cheek on the dining table. "They made fun of me and Mr. Cluck".

"There's no need to cry Scootaloo, their just jealous of you and how you are so daring."

"They called me like a chicken. Scoot, Scoot, Scootaloo..." Scootaloo faded off into mumbling.

"Do you want me to talk to Miss. Cherilee?" Fluttershy said, her hoof on Scootaloo's back.

"No, I just want to be alone." Scootaloo got up, went into her room, and locked the door behind her.

Chapter 5: Twilight's Advice (for the film)

"Fluttershy, your hiding something", Twilight said, suspiciously.

"No", Fluttershy said.

"Fluttershy I know when you lie and I can see."

Twilight and Fluttershy both sat in her Cottage.

"I most certainly am-"

Scootaloo walked in with a box on her head. She had two holes cut out for her eyes.

"Beep beep boop", Scootaloo said like a robot.

Twilight stared, and looked at Fluttershy.

"Scootaloo, meet Princess Twilight", Fluttershy said, about to cry.

"Your highness", Scootaloo said bowing, then falling on her face.

"Hi there", Twilight said. "Can I talk to Fluttershy for a second?"

Scootaloo walked out of the room, making robot noises. Fluttershy began crying.

"She appeared at my door in a box", She sobbed. "Please, don't tell anypony."

"Fluttershy you could've told me", Twilight said. "I would never ever tell anypony."

"I was just so nervous I thought you would judge me and not be my friend anymore."

"Why would I do that Fluttershy?" Twilight asked.

"Your so lucky that was Twilight", Fluttershy said to Scootaloo.

"Sorry, I just wanted to show you my box."

Fluttershy hugged Scootaloo. "I know, please look when you hear me talking."

Scootaloo headed to her room, and went to sleep for that night.

"Fluttershy, you should really tell somepony that Scootaloo is your daughter", Twilight said. "What will happen when she gets invited to a party? They have to send it to YOU." Twilight had stayed late that night.

"I know, but I'm nervous they'll judge", Fluttershy said.

"Fluttershy, take it from me, nopony will judge you. You are the best parent, your trying to keep your child safe, but you have to think about Scootaloo's future."

Fluttershy just nodded, and went to her room to go to sleep.
