The soft chattering of birds filled the evening as Janet walked down the gum filled sidewalk, heading for home. Her face was one big makeup blur, an trail of black eyeliner was going down from each eye, showing where she cried. She was holding an large stack of paper, the first one on top was an piece of homework that was far more advanced then her. Even though she hated the thought, she would have to cheat if she wanted to the pass the grade. It was her fault for sleeping everyday during class, but she thought the teachers should at least give her an break. Heck, their sisters didn't just die in front of them! Taking an deep breath, she took out an key from her pocket and unlocked the door.

The apartment she and her mother lived in was small and nothing fancy, but it is enough for them. She dropped the stack of paper on the nearest table without much thought, and rushed to her room. Her door was open, which meant her mom was digging through it when she was at school. As she entered, she was surprised to find her room clean and garbage free. No matter how many times her mom told her to clean her room, she always just ends up cleaning it herself. Janet smiled when she spotted her cat on the end of her bed, sleeping away. Janet walked over to her cat and started to pet it. It meowed in protest, but didn't do anything to stop her. Janet quickly grew bored of her cat and retreated to her computer. She went to youtube and clicked through the website to see how many new subs she's gotten. She hasn't gotten any new ones, she was still stuck at 7. She did get something, though. She got a few dislikes on her couple videos and some very rude comments. Knowing the internet, she avoided reading the entire comments and just sighed. Oh well, it's not like she deserved subs. Her videos were crap, and you couldn't even understand her half of the time. She quickly tried to forgot about it and looked at some my little pony remixes. Even though she wasn't an kid, she enjoyed watching the show. Her stress will always go away after watching the main six have fun and face foes. Those ponies don't know how good they have it.

After several hours of just sitting there and eating snacks, she decided to retreat to her bed. Because it was late spring and baking hot, she turned the fan on her night stand on and laid down, tossing the thick blanket she used to the end of her bed. She let her eyes close, and let the dreams take over.

Janet awoke to the feeling of falling. Thinking it was just her muscles relaxing too much, she opened her eyes and was greeted with darkness. That was strange, usually her room was flooded with light even during night, because of how bright the street lamps were. She suddenly became aware nothing was under her, and she shrieked in fear as the falling sensation became more clear. It didn't last long though, and suddenly came in contact on something hard, and it knocked out the wind out of her. After gasping for air, she head the soft chatter of birds and someone talking.

"Are you okay?" the person asked.

"Ugh..." Janet just moaned, feeling an head ache coming on as she opened her eyes.

and was greeted with the eyes of an pony.
