Author's Note

Well after I oorganized my ideas I finally got a new story which I wasnt planing to write, but well its wrtitten. Being in the city of the sun can help you with the inspiration, it seems.

First of all haven't played dark souls yet, but I'm planing on doing it. However I had read a lot of fics about dark souls so i was able to get ideas about it.
Second the characters will be with the attitude mostly from the fandom, you may know what i'm trying to say. Besides I had a lot of joy just in writting this.

Third Im trying to write with the old english for a few characters, so any help with it will be highly appreciated.

Finally Im sorry to my readers of my others sotires from bring a new story and ddn't give a new chapter instead. but i had a few problem with getting new ideas for them, maybe i got my first writer block, if it is the case then .......writer's block suck

The Day and The Night

The co-ruler of the land known as Equestria stood in her balcony glancing her beautiful night which she prepared with so much effort only for her dearest subjects. But when she looked down she couldn’t see any life form outside enjoying her night.

The princess of the night remembered that her subjects always enjoyed more the day than her night, so she always tried to make them understand that her night can be beautiful and enjoyable as the day but those were futile attempts. The ponies, even with her best efforts, still enjoyed the day more than the night and nothing could change that. The jealous of the night princess grow every night but she always tries to push aside those feelings toward her sister’s sun.

She let all those bad feelings leave her by giving a sad sigh, and decide to put her pride behind to talk her sister about this specifically problem that concern her the most.

The jealous sister left the balcony where she appreciates her night and also where she moves the stars with her magic, creating new constellations. Princess Luna was walking through the castle’s halls with beautiful mosaics as windows and marble floor with a nice red carpet above the shiny floor.

The night princess was thinking about how she should discuss her problems with her dearest sister as she was nearing the door that leads to the throne room where usually Celestia reside. It may be night time but Celestia tends to work over night too, only to keep helping her cherished subjects.

When she was in front of the door Luna gave a big breath gathering all the possible air within her range, because she needed to be really calm for talk about this frail topic that may change the relations between her and her sister.

When she felt calm enough to discuss, she ignited her horn to open the door with her magic. The doors made of gold, wood and diamonds started to open to the night princess who wanted to discuss an important matter with the solar princess who probably was doing an important job with one of her subjects.

But Luna never expected to encounter such a strange scene which her eyes recorded in her brain, in front of her was a unknown creature which appeared to be in a kneel position in with its head low in front of her dearest sister who looked that she was pleased with the creature company.

Luna impression and shock was too much for her that made her forget about she wanted to discuss with her sister only to be replaced by the important fact that a strange creature had arrived to Equestria and she hadn’t heard a word about it. So again she concentrated her magic toward her horn igniting it with a blue aura around it, ready to cast a teleportation spell which she used to be at the side of princess Celestia.

The solar princess couldn’t manage to give a clear response to the sudden appearance of her sister who immediately shoots her questions.

‘’Sister, why are you enjoying the presence of….’’ She gave a quick glance toward the kneeling creature ‘’..this creature?’’
Princess Celestia was still surprised of her sister unexpected arrival causing her to show a confused expression but with a shook of it she thought in a straight reply for her dearest sister.

‘’Is good to see you too sister’’ She deadpanned and change the direction of her gaze toward the creature that was wearing an full armor with a wooden object in its back ‘’You may raise Warrior of Sunlight’’

The creature after heard the command started to leave its kneeling stance for be fully standing in front of the Equestra’s rulers. As the armored creature was getting up the night princess started to analyze all the possible features that this stranger has to offer, it was wearing a silver helmet with a large red feather at the top. Its appearance says that it is wearing a rough armor behind the white tunic but this tunic has a symbol that sent which is really irksome to the night princess. It was a sun, giving the conclusion that it has to be related somehow to her sister sun. Finally at its back is attached a circular object Luna remembered that object had a symbol too but she didn’t pay attention to it when she casted the teleportation spell to be next to her sister.

The armored creature with a big sun over its chest bowed in sign of respect ‘’The name of thou art searching is Solaire of Astora an adherent of the Lord of Sunlight, sister of the Sun’’ The now known as Solaire goes back to his original position after he finished his respects ‘’Is an honor to make our regards’’

Luna tilted her head to a random direction for being surprised by the well mannerism of this Solaire of Astora, but it didn’t last long because the voice of Celestia made her return from the train of thoughts which Luna was being drowned in the last seconds.

‘’Solaire of Astora is human who is part of the covenant called Warriors of Sunlight, it may sound odd but they worship a god that is no longer a god with the name of Gwyn’’

Luna got closer to her sister’s ear and lowered enough her tone only leaving whispers sounds to the sun knight’s ears.

‘’Why is he here?’’

Celestia now got near to her sister’s ear ‘’To be honest with you Luna I don’t really know. He somehow came here, talked and then he asked me to be his sun, after I accepted his request he became astonishing devoted to me’’

The confusion in Luna’s eyes was beyond description, so she needed to ask more question to increase her knowledge about the unexpected arrival.

‘’What are you trying to say Celestia?’’

Celestia gave a long sigh before the reply of her sister’s question

‘’What I am trying to make you understand is that Solaire now is loyal to me and will serve me as a sun knight or a Equestria’s knight.’’

After hearing this the night Princess gave another look to her sister’s knight, the mere sight of him warned her about bad things coming in a future which those bad things will affect her very badly. She didn’t like him in the slightest and she never will.

Weeks later…….

The night princess was stomping with all her force the flag which showed her sister cutie mark with all glow, turning the once beautiful flag in a dirty rags for every stomp. Her secret jealous turned into secret hate toward her sister and even more in the so called Solaire of Astora.

‘’PRAISE THE SUN MY FLANK!’’

Leaving the horrendous rags which once were part of a beautiful flag the angered princess with the magic of her horn enveloped those rags in flames, slowly turning them into merely ashes which quickly vanished with the passing wind.

In the last weeks Solaire was introduced in the pony society who gave him a warm welcome after a little episode of panic between the citizens. Her subjects didn’t like the night time but now they abhor it like is something strange or bad.

This Solaire helped in that matter causing Luna to hate him more than her sister who approved the request made by this knight. The request consisted in recreate the covenant known as the Warriors of the Sunlight back in his home world. Ponies from every part of Equestria started to join the guild with too much enthusiasm, like they were Diamond dogs who found a cave full of gems.

Every single day since the formation of the covenant Luna heard the praises of the members toward her sister’s sun and her sister herself who received those praises happily. But the fact that the Sun knight spoke about her night like it was some horrible monster made her blood boil in a very high temperature.

‘How dare he?!’ Luna though as she left the place where she discriminately assaulted a flag ‘How dare he to speak in such manner about my night?!’

Another fact that made her lose in the increasing anger inside her was the simple fact that every day the Lunar guard is losing recruits and officers, only to join the Day guard and the warriors of Sunlight. She never felt so much hatred toward one specifically individual before, not even Discord received that hatred.

As she was walking through the dark halls to arrive to her balcony she spotted a flag with the cursed covenant emblem, immediately her magic set it on fire, allowing the flag to burn slowly.

‘’We will teach them that our night have the same…..no….that our night is more beautiful than her day’’ she muttered to herself as she was looking the scene of the burning textile.

Only ashes remained from the emblem, Luna felt satisfied with her work and made her way toward her balcony where she will be able to raise the moon with more efficiency than any other place in Equestria.

Luna stood with hard stomps on the balcony, almost cracking the floor below her. Concentrating her magic she replaced the sun with her moon, but she never noticed that her iris slowly turned for take the form of a reptilian creature making her have a scary stare to whoever dare to connect their gazes.

As she was raising the moon her almost reptilian eyes caught the sight of a falling comet directing toward the Eveerfree forest with no avail of stopping, Luna snapped from her trance of hate when the comet impacted the land but it didn’t make any noise at all. Her curiosity perked her up, she was unaware about her iris returning to their original form and she extended her wings to take flight in direction of the impact zone.

All the cold wind of the night passed through Luna’s coat making her shiver on time on time, but she wasn’t concerned about that fact in that moment. She was more concerned about that her ears twitched at heard the praises of her subjects directed to her sister or her sun. All of those praises wished to the sun to come back with the same beautifulness and light like it was the day time and wished to moon to descend faster only to give them more sun to praise.

She never felt so hurt before; those praises felt like somepony have just stabbed her in the heart with a poisoned blade with the deadliest poison from Equus. Every single word was another stab but the night princess try to push aside the pain and continued her task in discover about the fallen comet.

After flying through the city where the praises were said, she arrived within the wood of the Everfree forest near the place where the comet fell, with a couple of breaths she ventured more in the dark woods.

She walked what she felt like hours to enter the place where comet fell only to found nothing, not even a small crater making her to realize the explanation of why it didn’t make any noise. But she quickly forgot about the odd factor when her gaze caught a strange figure a few meters away from her position.

Her eyes widened when the creature have very similar features like the sun knight, who she hated so much, and this creature seemed to be in kneeling in direction of her moon with its head low.

Her mouth went agape when the moonlight allowed her eyes to get a better sight of the creature back which had a circle object.

That circle object had a big crescent moon at the middle.
