Sonic (Rain) Boom

"Hi..uh..I'm Silver," the silver colt said. He blushed, and grinned nervously. "Uh....hi?"

Twilight looked puzzled. "Wait - this isn't real..." she whispered to herself, as she scanned through a book. There was a look of worry in her trembling eyes, as she shifted her eyes from paragaph to paragraph. She then turned back to the strange colt, and remembering to be polite, she smiled, greeting, "Good afternoon, my name is Twilight Sparkle, faithful student of Princess Celestia herself."

"That's...cool, I guess," Silver replied, shying back nervously. "Oh - and I like your mane..."

Twilight giggled nervously, "You're so naive...but I like that about you."

Silver's eyes shot open wide, as memories and flashbacks streamed through his mind. You're so naive...I like that about you The words echoed through his mind, and he fell back, his ears dropped, and back hunched. "Nice knowing ya...uh....Twilight."

"Huh?" Twilight asked, as Silver levitated himself away - with his horn. Celestia, what was going on here? Rainbow Dash had already caught up to her, and she asked, a mischievous glint in her eye. "So..Twi? Got yourself a new colt-friend?"

"He is NOT my colt-friend!" Twilight snapped, before lowering her voice into a faded whisper. "He just..reminds me of somepony I hold dear."

"You...you remind me of this girl..her name was Blaze," Silver explained. By this point, there were slight tears welling up in his golden eyes. "She...sacrificed her life for the future..and...I never...never saw her again." He was trembling furiously, and Twilight, who had no idea what was going on, smiled and put a hoof around him, to comfort him. "Don't worry, Silver," she said. She looked up, with tears in her eyes, smiling a sad smile, as she thought of her little Spike. "I know the feeling."

Silver was starting to feel better, and he drew Twilight into a hug, before staring deep into her eyes, almost getting lost in them. "Y-You won't leave me too, right?" he asked. Twilight sighed, not knowing what to say. "Celestia will it, no. I won't leave you as long as I live," she muttered, drifting off to sleep by his side. Silver grinned, and fell asleep beside her.

"Ugh..can't do ANYTHING with these hooves..." Knuckles groaned. "Where's my spiky knuckles?"

Derpy was chatting her head off to Tails, and the two of them seemed to already be warming up to each other. "Do you like waffles?" Derpy asked the two-tailed colt. Tails nodded vigorously, as he stroked his mane with a hoof. "Sure, who doesn't? Sonic likes them too! Do you like pancakes?" he asked.

Derpy nodded, licking her lips. "Of course! And I love French Toast, but not as much as a muffin!" she cried out, biting into a delicious crumbly muffin, which had been waiting in her back-pack the whole time - to be eaten. She s
