Mark of Chaos

"Where are you taking me?" Moonlight Chaos asked. Discord turned around and looked at her. "I can't tell you, are your eyes open?" Moonlight shook her head. "No, you told me to keep them closed." Discord smiled and gently pulled her up the hill. "Don't worry, we're almost there." When they got to the top of the hill Discord put his paw and his claw over Moonlight's eyes. "Ready?" He whispered. Moonlight smiled. "Yes. I'm ready." Discord pulled his claw and paw away and Moonlight's eyes opened. Then she gasped, they were both standing on a hill overlooking all of Equestria. Through the moonlight she could see rivers sparkling in the distance, tall mountains and many homes. Some were filled with light giving them a faint glow. Moonlight turned to Discord. "Thank you for bringing me here." Discord smiled and then he laid against the side of the hill. Moonlight walked over to him and laid down next to him. "The stars are so boring when they just stick to the sky like that, don't you think?" Discord asked. Moonlight nodded. "Sometimes they can be boring, yes." Discord waved his claw and the stars began to form into the shape of Moonlight's cutie mark. "What do you think?" Discord asked as he finished. Moonlight laughed. "You can make anything perfect." Discord began to feel very warm and happy inside. Nopony had ever told him that. He looked into Moonlight's eyes. "I brought you here for a reason. I know we are both still a little young but, I want you to know how I feel. Ever since I met you, my life feels better. I never thought I would ever meet somepony with magic like mine. I predict a big future for both of us. I just hope you will be a part of mine." Moonlight looked up at the stars as they arranged themselves to spell out a single sentence. Do you love me? Moonlight used her magic to write next to his sentence, yes. She turned to him. "I don't care how old we are but, do you have any idea how long I've been wanting you to ask me that?" Discord looked a little nervous. "I don't know. How long?....." Moonlight giggled. "Long enough I can tell you that!" She wrapped her hooves around him. Discord sighed. "I would never have guessed that someone like you could love me." Moonlight looked confused. "Why is that?" Discord looked at the ground. "Well, I mean.……look at you. Your a beautiful, talented pony. And I'm nothing but a monster." Moonlight did not look convinced. "You are not a monster, you are not ugly either. I don't believe that an you shouldn't either. Your unique, and that's what I like about you. Nopony is a monster, good or bad. You say I'm beautiful, your too amazing to describe!" Discord looked at her. "You really believe that?" Moonlight nodded. "Yes, I do." Discord got closer to Moonlight, he didn't even realize it until it was too late. He felt it, he felt her lips press against his. A spark of energy flew down his body. He pulled Moonlight closer and put his claw around her. He was in love with Moonlight Chaos, and now he had kissed her.

How did Discord fall in love with Moonlight? How did they really meet? Where was Dark Chaos in all of this? Well you already know much about what already happened. Moonlight and Discord got married and had kids and are living happily ever after, the end. But do you know why this happened? Do you know why they had that happy and chaotic ending? Do you really want to know what happened all those years ago? Well, lets go back a while ago into Moonlights past, Discord's past, and even a little Dark Chaos past. Then you will finally know the real reason this all happened. Why this is the real story of what happened.

Moonlight Chaos

Moonlight Chaos lived with her parents when she was very young. Her mother was a blue Unicorn named Straight Starlight. Her talent was being able to keep everything organized and in perfect order. Many ponies depended on her when events where being held. Her father was a black Pegaus named Black Sun. He was very good at spreading happiness to others, when others were sad he would find a way to be able to cheer them up. He brought peace to those who were fighting and helped settle any argument. Both of them loved Moonlight, but as she got older her power grew stronger, and her abilities were much different from what they had expected. She caused chaos and confusion everywhere she went. Because she was still young though, her parents could reverse her spells. But soon even their magic was not strong enough and they had to ask Moonlight to do it for them. They tried to teach her to do what they could but it would always end in a chaotic disaster. By the time Moonlight was a young filly her magic was too strong for them to control at all. Her parents began to grow worried, and they feared they would have to take away their daughters magic to keep everyone safe.

Moonlight grew up to be a shy, naive, and chaotic pony. She did not like to play with other mares because she felt too different to belong with everyone else. But she believed that there was at least one like her somewhere, and she wanted to find them. Moonlight spent most of her time in her room or with her parents. From a very young age Moonlight knew she was different, she noticed how other ponies brought love and peace, while she brought chaos and destruction. Her parents tried to teach her how they did things but her magic just wasn't right for it. Her parents began growing distressed and worried. Moonlight grew sad that nopony liked what she did, her parents didn't even see the beauty it brought. One day Moonlight heard her parents talking from inside their bedroom. "I don't understand, why hasn't it left?" Black Sun asked. Straight Starlight sighed. "I thought it would go away too, but dear this what our daughter was given, her magic is different. This could be who she is meant to grow up into." Black Sun stomped his hoof. "No! My daughter is not going to turn into a monster!" Moonlight gasped. Her dad thought she was a monster? "Then perhaps maybe we should make sure she can't use her magic. We'll have to find a way to make sure she can't cast any more spells that lead to disaster." Shimmering Starlight suggested. Black Sun sighed. "Your right, she can't use her magic again....…" Moonlight got upset. They were going to take her magic away, they didn't like her magic, they thought she was a monster. Moonlight left her parents that day, the first few hours on her own she felt nervous. Then she ran into trouble, three fillies about her age walked in front of her and began making fun of her. "What are you doing here?" The leader of the fillies asked. Moonlight glared at them. "That's none of your business Harmony." Harmony looked at the two ponies standing next to them. "You don't even belong here, so why don't you go home." Harmony said. Moonlight frowned. "What is that supposed to mean?" One of the fillies next to her smirked. "For starters, your not normal. I mean our magic helps make this place better, and we actually help make other ponies happy." The other one nodded. "Yes, and you…….you just make a mess of everything. Everything is a disaster with you, I mean seriously! Your the only one who can make it rain chocolate milk, that's just crazy! You don't belong here, go away." Moonlight got angry. "Don't ever make fun of me again." Harmony rolled her eyes. "We aren't making fun of you, we're telling you that nopony will ever like you because your a mess." Moonlight cast a spell on one of the ponies next to her. Her eyes became swirly. "Ah! Make it stop!" The pony screamed. Harmony glared at Moonlight. "What did you do?" Moonlight smirked. "Sorry Harmony, but you have to solve this one on your own." Then she caused a cotton candy cloud to rain chocolate milk all over them. The three ponies ran off screaming, Moonlight smiled. She had enjoyed every minute of that, it felt good to spread her magic. Nopony understood what it was like for her. She saw a bright light and glanced down, she had earned her cutie mark.

Moonlight went through the town spreading chaos everywhere. Eventually she realized she was alone, she found a quiet place and laid down. She felt sad that nobody ever cared about what she did, eventually she began to cry. Moonlight didn't even notice that a large cotton candy cloud had formed over her head. After she had stopped something appeared over her head. It was a creature that was hanging over the cloud. It looked different, it had a body made up of all different kinds of animals. The creature gave her a nervous smile. Moonlight smiled back. "Hello." The creature stared at her. "Hi." Moonlight's smile grew bigger. "I'm Moonlight Chaos, what's your name?" The creature flew off the cloud, that's when Moonlight noticed it had two different kinds of wings. A blue Pegaus wing and a bat wing. The creature looked a Moonlight and smiled. "I'm Discord." Moonlight looked at Discord. "I like you Discord." Discord walked towards her. "I like you too."

Dark Chaos

Dark Chaos was a very mean, and rude pony. She hated not being listened to or given the attention she wanted. If anyone made her mad, she would become extremely rude and and even a bit violent. The only friends she had were Discord and Moonlight Chaos. Dark Chaos had always admired Discord, she told him herself when they first met. She tried to get his attention and tried to please him, but it always seemed like it wasn't good enough. After Moonlight came into the picture they did become good friends, but sometimes Dark Chaos would get jealous. Discord seemed to be giving Moonlight Chaos more and more attention then she was recieving. Many times Discord would tell her that he would be doing things with Moonlight. Dark Chaos grew tired of it, Moonlight this and Moonlight that! She began to realize that Discord was falling in love with her! Sometimes Dark Chaos felt upset for being like this, Moonlight was her friend and one of the only ponies that trusted her. She felt awful for being jealous of her friend, she shouldn't be getting too upset. They were not even teenagers yet, so for now it was just a very deep friendship. But that slowly began to change......

Discord and Dark Chaos were spending some time together. Discord had spent the first half of the day with Moonlight and he felt that Dark Chaos would want some company. "How was your time with Moonlight?" Dark Chaos asked. "It was very enjoyable. Moonlight had a good time, we got a chance to talk and have a little fun." Discord began to laugh. "And we definitely had quite a few laughs!" Dark Chaos smiled a little. "That's nice, I'm glad I could spend a little more time with you. You seem to spend most of your time with Moonlight now." Discord sighed. "Wait....…do you think I'm ignoring you?" Dark Chaos bit her lip. "Well........" Discord glared at her. "I see……you think because I'm spending time with Moonlight makes you think I've forgotten all about you. You think I don't care anymore don't you?" Dark Chaos sighed. "Well.......yes." Discord smirked. "You and your need for attention! Why would you think I forgot about you? I only have two friends, Moonlight and you. Who did you think the second one was? A rock?" Then a small pebble on the ground turned into a statue of Dark Chaos. Discord walked over to it and began talking to it. "Why hello, have I ever told you about my old friend?" Then he spoke in a high pitched voice, trying to impersonate Dark Chaos. "No Discord, you haven't. Please tell me! Your too amazing to resist!" Dark Chaos laughed. "Okay, I get it. You are so full of yourself you know that?" Discord shrugged. "Well, I know that you like me." Dark Chaos sighed. "I do like you, that's a little bit why I feel so jealous." Discord interrupted her. "Aha! So the pony is jealous huh? A bet you didn't see that one coming!" He said to the rock. "No! I didn't! She's sooo jealous, she can't get enough of you!" The "rock" said. Dark Chaos glared at him. "Seriously? Are you going to keep talking to that rock?" Discord smiled. "It all depends....." Dark Chaos groaned. "Discord! Honestly!" Discord's smile grew wider. "There is the problem! You don't know how to have fun anymore! Come on my dear, what happened? Why are you taking everything seriously?" Dark Chaos sighed. "Because nothing makes sense anymore......" Discord put his claw underneath her chin. "What fun is there is trying to make sense? It makes everything WAY too complicated." Then the rock began to talk again, only this time it wasn't Discord doing it. "That's right! Listen to him, he's got a point you know. Sometimes he's just too smart." Dark Chaos looked at Discord. "Okay, you can stop now." Discord put his paw and his claw up. "That wasn't me, I swear!" The rock began to talk again. "No it was me." Then the rock began to dissolve and Moonlight Chaos took it's place. Discord frowned. "Great! Now I'm going to have to make another stone friend to replace Dark Chaos!" He said with sarcasm in his voice. Moonlight smiled. "Forgive me for taking away your friend." Then another statue appeared. "I'm sorry I left you Discord! I won't do it again!" Moonlight said, pretending to be the rock. Discord walked over to the rock and wrapped his paw around it. "That's quite alright, now where were we?" Dark Chaos stomped her hoof. "Hey!" Moonlight Chaos and Discord laughed. "See what I mean! You don't like to have fun anymore! Look we just friends okay? Besides even if I did like somepony, it certainly wouldn't be somepony like Moonlight." Moonlight glared at him. "Hey! Very funny." Discord leaned in closer to her. "Aren't I though?" Moonlight giggled. "You certainly are, and very full of yourself." Discord rolled his eyes. "Okay, maybe just a little." Moonlight smirked. "A little? But hey, it's not your fault that you have looks." Discord laughed. "It's almost a crime!" Dark Chaos sat down, watching them go on and on. She was alone again, but hey Discord had said they were just friends. Right?

Teenage Chaos

By the time Discord, Moonlight Chaos, and Dark Chaos were teenagers they had hardly changed. Discord was still his playful and chaotic self, Dark Chaos was still mean, but she had learned to control her anger more, and Moonlight Chaos was still herself. Dark Chaos began to notice that Discord and Moonlight were getting even closer then they had before. She realized if she ever wanted to get Discord's attention, she had to do it now. Before it was too late. Moonlight was starting to get all the attention, and Dark Chaos was beginning to get jealous.

Discord, Dark Chaos, and Moonlight were busy having fun when it began to rain. "Oh great, rain!" Dark Chaos said. Discord smiled. "I can fix that......" But before he could do anything Moonlight jumped in front of him. "Wait! Don't!" Discord looked confused. "What's wrong?" Moonlight looked up at the sky. "It's just rain, we can still have fun." Then they heard the sound of thunder, and the rain came down harder. "You were saying Moonlight?" Dark Chaos said slyly. Moonlight rolled her eyes. "Fine, come on." Dark Chaos and Discord looked at each other. But they didn't argue, they both flared out their wings and followed her. Moonlight pointed to a small cave opening on the side of one of the mountains. "There, you can stay in there." Discord looked at Moonlight. "Where are you going?" Moonlight Chaos smiled. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying out here." Discord continued to stare at her. "In the rain?" Moonlight nodded. "I like the rain, besides I'm just going to get a little wet." Discord pointed towards the sky. "But what about the lightning?" Moonlight flew over to him. "Lighten up Discord! I'm not going to let that ruin my fun! Besides, the lightning and thunder makes it more dangerous and fun." Discord smiled. "Why can't I ever argue with you without you winning?" Moonlight leaned towards him. "Because you know it's fun too." Then she flew off into the rain. Dark Chaos groaned and flew into the cave. Discord followed her. "What's wrong with you?" Dark Chaos sighed. "Nothing, I'm fine." Discord flew over to her causing Dark Chaos to press herself against the wall of the cave. "I know that your hiding something from me, I've known you almost my entire life. I think I would know when something is bothering you. Tell me what's wrong." Dark Chaos sighed. "You know I like you, a lot right?" Discord nodded. Dark Chaos looked him directly in the eyes. Then she turned away. "It's.......nothing....I can't tell you now." Discord sighed. "Alright fine, but later you are going to tell me. Got it?" Dark Chaos nodded. Then they heard thunder again, it sounded very loud. Discord looked out of the mouth of the cave. Moonlight was still outside, her mane was very wet and small streams of water were dripping everywhere. But she looked very happy. Discord slowly slipped outside. Dark Chaos rolled her eyes. It was raining, why would anyone want to go outside and be in the rain, when it was cold and wet? She looked outside, Moonlight and Discord were flying around in the rain. They were both completely soaked but they still appeared as if they were having fun. Discord would be chasing Moonlight while she was laughing and trying to move her hair from her face. Dark Chaos sighed, Moonlight could find fun even in the rain. Why was it always about her?

After a while, Discord and Moonlight Chaos flew back into the cave. They were both dripping wet. Moonlight used her magic to squeeze the water out of her mane. It came flowing out, in a small splash. The water splashed over Discord. He laughed. "Right after I get dry, you get water all over me again!" Moonlight smiled nervously. "Sorry about that." Then Discord twisted his body causing all the water to squeeze out. Then the water lifted up and dropped itself on Moonlight. "Oops! My bad, how silly of me!" Discord said. Moonlight laughed very hard. Then she tripped and fell backwards, but she continued laughing. Discord flew over her. "Are you okay?" Moonlight's laughing began to stop. "Yes......I'm fine." Then she began laughing all over again. Discord smiled. "What are you laughing at?" Moonlight shrugged. "I don't know!" Dark Chaos sighed. "Alright, we get it. You can stop laughing now." Moonlight Chaos stopped. "What's the matter with her?" Discord shrugged. "I don't know, she won't tell me." Moonlight smiled and covered her mouth. Discord glared at her. "Are you laughing AGAIN?" Moonlight took a deep breath. "Don't make me start!" Then she covered her mouth again. Discord gave her a sly grin. He took his claw and lifted her hoof of her mouth. "Come on, I know you want to laugh." Moonlight bit her lip. "Discord don't, please." Discord leaned closer. "Why? You want to laugh, so why don't you?" Moonlight Chaos shut her eyes tight, she couldn't take much more. "Come on Moonlight, your almost there." Moonlight covered her mouth. She began laughing again. Discord jumped up. "Ha!" Moonlight's legs were flailing in the air. "Stop it! I can't take it!" Discord grinned. "This is priceless!" Moonlight glanced up at him. "If you keep going I'm never going to stop!" Discord shrugged. "I think I can live with that....." Dark Chaos groaned. This was not going to end for a while, seriously! Moonlight starts laughing and Discord can't get enough of it. "Why are boys so weird?" Dark Chaos whispered to herself. Discord turned to her. "What was that?" Dark Chaos realized she said that out loud, her eyes shrank. "Nothing!"

Love and Hatred

There was no use in trying to hide it. The feeling was just too strong, no matter how many times he could have denied it. It was no use, nothing could make the feeling go away. Discord was in love. He loved Moonlight Chaos, the way he felt when she was near him, the way she treated him was to great to try to put into words. Her compassion towards him, she never lied to him, and she tried to make him happy even when she was upset. Nopony had ever treated him this way, and he loved it. He had never imagined somepony like her could exist, but there she was. He enjoyed every moment he spent with her. Discord finally decided he was going to tell her, he wanted to show her what she meant to him.

Dark Chaos had seen everything. She had seen Discord and Moonlight Chaos going somewhere and she wanted to find out what they were doing. Then Dark Chaos felt crushed as she watched Discord take a flower and put it in Moonlight's hair and gently kiss her on her forehead. Now she really was too late. Discord loved her, Moonlight loved him. The last words she heard Discord say before she lost her sanity was, "Moonlight, I think you are a very special pony. I predict a great future between you and me. I'm glad to have a special somepony like you. Dark Chaos lost control, she had to much anger inside. Dark Chaos felt completely torn and jumped from behind the bushes. She began yelling and asking why she was never shown any compassion Moonlight was receiving. "What are you doing! I knew it, you never cared about me! It was all about her wasn't it! Nothing I did was good enough for you!" Discord tried to calm her down but Dark Chaos didn't listen. "I do care about you! I just care about Moonlight a little more, all you wanted was attention, you need to calm down!" Dark Chaos wanted to scream she wanted to take everything back she had ever done. Then she glared at Moonlight with hatred in her eyes. Moonlight looked scared. Then Dark Chaos made one of the biggest mistakes of her life. She aimed her horn at Moonlight and stuck her. Moonlight screamed and was pushed towards the edge of the mountain. Discord grew angry. "How dare you!" He began to fight back against Dark Chaos. She fought as hard as she could but Discord was too strong. He pushed her down and left her defenseless. She looked at Discord's face and saw sadness. Dark Chaos saw Moonlight try to get up. Dark Chaos felt so angry and bitter that she blast Moonlight one more time sending her falling off the mountain before she fell unconscious. "NO!" Discord flew down towards her as fast as his wings could carry him. He caught Moonlight in time from hitting the ground, but she was covered in cuts and scrapes. She had done nothing to deserve this, she was everything to him and now she was hurt and had almost been killed. Discord felt like he had been broken into a million pieces. Discord then grew extremely angry, he felt it was his fault this had happened, he never wanted this to happen again. He felt a sudden burst of anger begin to rise. He left Dark Chaos and flew off with Moonlight in his arms.

Broken

Discord tried to heal Moonlight's wounds but he was so afraid and angry that he couldn't control his magic. He wanted to forget all of this. He wanted to show everyone what his pain felt like, how the world had treated him. He eventually lost control of himself and he began to take over Equestria, all his anger and fear spread into his magic as he turned everything upside down. Ponies ran in fear and nothing was the same. Soon he was the ruler of Equestria and if anypony tried to hurt what he loved they would pay severely. He took pride in watching others suffer and in all his chaos. All the ponies of Equestria became his puppets, and everyone became miserable.

When Dark Chaos woke up she was still in the same spot. She looked over the mountain. Something seemed different, then she realized the entire world was in chaos. She wanted to find Discord. She flew across the town she saw everything was turned upside down. Finally she spotted Discord, he looked angry. Dark Chaos walked towards him. "Discord, what are you doing?" Discord quickly turned around. "What are you doing here?" Dark Chaos backed up. "Why are you acting like this?" Discord growled. "You know why, I can't believe you. You almost killed one of the only friends you and I ever had." Dark Chaos grew angry again. "She was getting all the attention, you never cared about me!" Discord gave her an annoyed look. "You know perfectly well, that I did. I gave you as much attention as I did with her. She just saw me more." Dark Chaos grit her teeth. "Then why do you still reject me?" Discord turned away from her. "Considering what you did, I don't even want speak to you anymore." Dark Chaos felt like crying. "I did it because she would never be meant for you, you know I cared about you! So why do you still reject me?" Discord didn't answer. Then a white flash appeared. When it faded Dark Chaos saw Moonlight, she was full of cuts and looked tired. "Now do you see what you have done. You almost killed her!" Dark Chaos groaned. "She deserved it." She said under her breath. Discord glared at her. "If you really cared about me then you would never would have hurt someone I care about." Dark Chaos tried to stay calm. "Why is it always about her? Why can't you ever take your mind off of her for even a minute?" Discord began gritting his teeth. "Because she cares about me, unlike you. And now that she's like this, I have no choice. She might not even remember me anymore! Even I'm not that heartless." Dark Chaos could not hold her anger back any longer. "So this is all my fault! I'm the monster here, nothing I do was good enough for you!" Moonlight began to groan and she slowly opened her eyes. "Discord......is that you? I feel so sore." Discord flew over to her. "Shhhh, everything is fine. Go back to sleep." Moonlight slowly closed her eyes. Dark Chaos sighed. "Oh great." Discord turned to her. "Even through all of this you still don't feel any guilt? I was wrong about you, no matter what could have happened you would never have been happy. You would still be trying to get attention, you never cared about me. All you wanted was my power, you wanted everything to be yours, but sometimes you can't always have things your way. Leave me alone. I don't want to talk to you anymore."

Dark Chaos gasped. She quickly left, she did not want to speak to anyone. Eventually she went into the Everfree Forest to be alone. She found a small cave with a small pool of water. Instead of seeing her reflection she saw another world. The ponies seemed darker and scarier. She even found someone that looked a lot like Discord. Dark Chaos had nowhere else to go, and she didn't want to be with Discord right now. He didn't want to see her anymore. Slowly she slipped in through the water. Just as she left she promised she was going to make Moonlight Chaos pay for everything she did.

The Elements of Chaos

After Moonlight Chaos had finally gotten better Discord watched her as she continued with her life. He always hid from her, and did not let her find him. This went on like this for quite a few months, Moonlight knew someone was following her, and she wanted to find out who it was. Part of Moonlight began to forget about Discord, but she knew he was still out there. She still loved him and she was going to find him. After a while of things going like this Discord stopped following her. It hurt too much, later he decided he wanted to create something at least to remember her by. He took the six things about her that he loved the most and put them all into six individual stones. He loved ability to make everything seem fun and cheerful even in some of the saddest times. And the Element of Fun was created. He loved how she did not care for making sense, even when it seemed confusing. The Element of Confusion was made. He loved her great power and the way she looked. Then the Element of Power was made. He loved how she enjoyed spreading chaos with him an turning everything upside down, making everything opposite and crazy. The Element of Corruption was created. He also loved her slightly darker side how she found chaos and darkness together fascinating. How she was able to create and inspire. The Element of Darkness was born. And finally he loved her chaotic nature, her magic, her talent, and everything about her in general. The Element of Chaos was made. Chaos, it was a word that described his Moonlight perfectly. Discord had created the Elements of Chaos. If he did come across Moonlight again he promised he would never try to hurt her again. Slowly Discord tried to forget about Moonlight, and for a moment he almost did. But there was almost always some way for him to remember her again. But no matter what he did, he would always love her, nothing would change that. Always.......

The King and Queen of Chaos

Moonlight Chaos walked down the hall looking at all the stained glass windows place randomly in the house. They were the rulers of Equestria. Many ponies were finally beginning to see the beauty and fun in chaos. They had made one part of the castle filled with stained glass windows of how this came to be. Many of them showed their past, then she came closer to some of the present stained glass windows. She past the stained glass window about the day they had gotten married. On the very top of the window Moonlight's friends were standing with smiles on their faces. In the middle was Discord and Moonlight, in between them was a heart. And below them were the ponies of Equestria. The next stained glass window showed Screwball, Disharmony, and Stellaluna. Those three were now married and were living very close to the castle. The largest stained glass window was at the very end of the hall. It was an image of Discord and Moonlight spinning in a circle with crowns. Surrounding them was Moonlight's friends, and Stellaluna, Disharmony, and Screwball were in a triangle next to them. This was Moonlight's favorite window. She stared at the window when she felt Discord touch her. She turned around and looked up to see Discord smiling at her. "Discord, am I dreaming?" Discord shook his head. "No, this is all real." Moonlight smiled. She flapped her wings and flew up towards his face. "I love you my darling Moonlight." Discord said in a quiet voice. Moonlight wrapped her hooves around him. "I love you too." After Moonlight let go they both got closer to each other and kissed. Moonlight never wanted to leave him again, no matter what happened.

Discord

After Moonlight and Discord met, Discord took Moonlight with him all over Equestria. During that time Moonlight discovered that Discord was the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony, and his magic was just like hers! Together they caused mischief and chaos everywhere they went. About a week later Discord introduced Moonlight to Dark Chaos. Dark Chaos was a black Alicorn with a misty blue mane. Her magic was not like Discord's or Moonlight's, but it was still very powerful. Discord and Dark Chaos had bumped into each other about a month ago. Dark Chaos had been the only pony that was not afraid of him. Dark Chaos had parents but they were very afraid of her. Eventually Dark Chaos left her family. Moonlight Chaos, Discord, and Dark Chaos became very close and were able to spread their magic across the land. As they got slightly older a love triangle began to form. Dark Chaos began to like Discord, Discord liked Moonlight, and Moonlight liked Discord.

"I'm bored." Dark Chaos complained. Discord sighed. "Yeah, I am too." Moonlight groaned and fell onto the ground. "There's nothing to do." Discord laughed. "You are such a drama queen." Moonlight smiled. "My parents said the same thing. But I'm just bored and you are too!" Dark Chaos sighed. "I can't think of anything." Moonlight rolled over so her face was in the ground. "Making sense hurts! We are going to be bored forever!" She said in a muffled voice. Dark Chaos chuckled. "Can't understand you Moonlight....." Moonlight turned over. She let out a long groan. Discord smiled and snapped his fingers then a small bowl filled with paper appeared. Moonlight watched him eat. "Is that paper?" She asked. Discord nodded. "It is, want some?" Moonlight smiled. "Sure, why not." Discord looked confused but made a second bowl filled with paper appear. Moonlight began to eat it. "Wow, this is good." Discord still looked confused. "You actually like it?" Moonlight nodded. "Yes why do you ask?" Discord shrugged. "Nothing, it's just I've never met anyone that ate paper before. For most ponies it's not exactly "normal food", I don't know why, it's good." Moonlight nodded. "It really is." Discord and Moonlight looked at each other and smiled. Dark Chaos frowned and sighed. She stared at the ground, they had forgotten about her.

Moonlight noticed that Discord was different. He always had, but there was still something about him that made her wonder why he was different. He was a Draconequus, a creature with the head of a pony and the body made of up of different kinds of creatures. His magic allowed him to bend reality and cast spells nopony could ever perform. He saw everything differently, in a fun way. He took take anything no matter how boring or simple and make it into the most complex and amazing thing in the world, and to top it all off he was the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony. He literally represented the definition of chaos. The more Moonlight Chaos noticed this, the more she began to become attracted to it. The more she wanted it, the more she needed it.

The Jealousy of Dark Chaos

Dark Chaos felt something touch her. She looked up, it was Discord. He put his paw over her mouth, and leaned towards her. "Come with me." Dark Chaos got up and followed him outside of the cave they were in. When they were at the top he looked at her. "Tell me what's wrong. Why are you acting so strange?" Dark Chaos glared at him. "Why are you acting so strange in front of Moonlight?" Discord looked confused. "What?" Dark Chaos clenched her teeth, trying to hold back her anger. "Why you show her more affection then you do with me! Nothing I do ever pleases you! It's always Moonlight Chaos this, and Moonlight Chaos that! Why? Don't you care about me anymore?" Discord was shocked. "You think I don't care about you? Why would you think that? I know you like me......" Discord stopped. "How much do you like me?" Dark Chaos didn't answer. Discord's eyes widened. "Why didn't you tell me?" Dark Chaos felt tears fall down her face. "Because you were always with Moonlight! You never paid attention to me if I told you, then you would think I was just ridiculous." Discord sighed. "Your not ridiculous, yes I like her, a lot. But that does not mean I don't care about you either. Besides she has not said anything to me yet. How about tomorrow just be you and me? I promise. Stop letting your anger get to you, okay?" Dark Chaos nodded. "Alright, I'll try." But Dark Chaos knew that was a promise she couldn't keep.

Dark Chaos flew back into the cave. When she laid down she felt tears beginning to form. Outside she could hear rain falling, again. Then she could hear something behind her, it was Discord. He was laying down next to her. Dark Chaos sighed. Then she glanced towards the mouth of the cave. Moonlight was still asleep. "I'm sorry."

Just as she predicted Dark Chaos had a hard time controlling her anger. Discord had spent the next day with just her and many other days after that. But it wasn't enough for her. Discord tried to get her to realize he did care about her. When ever he was not with Moonlight he would try to have fun with Dark Chaos. As time past she seemed a little down, so he thought maybe they just needed to spend a little more time together. He tried to make Dark Chaos feel happy again, and for a time he thought she was. But boy, was he wrong. Instead Dark Chaos felt even more like Discord was leaving her. She noticed that when he was spending time with Moonlight Chaos they would spend almost the entire day together. She began seeing the way they looked at each other, the way they talked to each other. They were falling in love. Her mind was being twisted, soon Dark Chaos took away her friendship with Moonlight. Her heart darkened, her hatred grew. She was too late. Her feelings for Discord were still there but in a different way, she wanted to take Discord away from Moonlight Chaos even if it meant taking him by force. Or breaking his heart.
