Science has split down two paths, alchemy and robotics. Unicorns, the upper class, use robotics and live in the wonderful, gleaming Canterlot. Earth ponies have moved away and into the outer communities and towns around the Great City. Pegasi, afraid of being taken down, mostly fly back to Cloudsdale. It is illegal for anypony to practice both forms of science, which has caused the rift to widen. There is only one pony who can save the races from all out war.

His name is Sprocket, and he is a fugitive.
