//-------------------------------------------------------// Luna's Creation -by TheSlasherGod- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Dripping Silence - Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// The Dripping Silence - Chapter 1 Twilight's eyes began to throb with pain. All of her magic was drained out, leaving her body weak. She started to cry subtly in the grass, where she lied, motionless, against the raging wind. Luna, out of all of the ponies that could have taken over, Luna. She was so sweet, kind and loving when she came back from the moon. She just, snapped. Twilight couldn't care less about her. Princess Celestia has grown too weak for her to do anything, and is now protected by her army in the castle, leaving everypony else to die. Selfish. It had been 2 years now since Luna has began to take over the once beautiful world. Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, they have gone missing since. The thought of the loving warmth of her friends was gone. Missing. Rainbow Dash found Twilight and they have been hiding in the Everfree Forest ever since. Rainbow sat motionless against a tree. She had some minor brain damage from a large creature that attacked not more than 4 months ago. Even Twilight was barely able to fight it off. It was dark, so Twilight couldn't really distinguish what it was. It might have been a bear, but she couldn't classify that to be true. Rainbow can only speak once in a while, eat, barely stand up and somewhat understand what you say. Her wings were paralyzed, or so it seems, and she had an eye infection so Rainbow can't see very well either. All medicine from Ponyville was stolen or expired, so no luck there. All that Twilight can really do is hope. Hope. *crack* The sound of a whip broke the silence. The smell of smoke and sweat filled the air. The subtle grunts and moans of hard working ponies was the literal sound of hatred. "Don't you want to help me?" Luna said with a smirk on her face. She gently laid her hands on the soft face of what it seemed to be an outsider from another town. "Please, don't hurt me! I...I'll do whatever you want! Just please leave me be!" The poor pony had a waterfall of tears going down his face. The very thought of not seeing his family ever again, just dying here. Not living his life, doing what he loved the most, broke his heart. Depression started to weigh over his shoulders. `"Don't be silly, child. Only a mere barbarian would do such things as torture." The helpless pony looked at the pile of motionless dead bodies in the corner. His mind couldn't comprehend what pain they must have been through. "I give you wealth, power, food, anything you could want." Luna started to shield a magic aurora around his body. "Uh, I...oh my Celestia...." He had never felt anything quite like it before. His body suddenly felt cured, all of his sadness, pain and suffering when away in an instant. His muscles started to relax with no command. "I give you anything you want..." Luna gently brought him closer and her soothing voice went straight to his mind. "I...." Not a single peep would come out of him again. Luna happily gazed over her fast growing kingdom. Her creation. Twilight began to slowly stand up. Her legs and hooves were aching. She needed to find food and water and hopefully get to an abandoned building and hide there. Twilight knew more than 1 pony would be smart and tough enough to hide in the Everfree. Twilight needed more rest so her magic wouldn't be so useless. She was really weak, and knew she probably couldn't survive here any longer. She went to Rainbow Dash, blindly realizing how she was going to get her to move. "Rainbow?" She lightly nudged her body. Rainbow moaned a bit. "Rainbow, can you understand me?" Rainbow coughed and slowly nodded. "We need to get out of here and find a building to hide in. I realize that this must wear you out too, and we need to get moving. I know how heartbreaking this is to you, and its been a couple rough years without seeing your family, and it breaks my heart too. It makes me feel even worse when my best friend is in pain. I'm going to help you Rainbow, but I need you to try and at least walk. Can you do that for me?" Rainbow stood up. She instantly felt a sharp pain in her leg and had a massive headache. "Ahhh!" She fell down flat on her back. Twilight helped her up on her legs and helped her stretch out a bit to help stop the pain. Twilight knew some dark magic spells to heal but that was forbidden, but she supposed it wouldn't matter now. Her magic was way too drained to perform it, and it would take massive concentration, something she doesn't have now. "Fuck..." Rainbow said silently under her breath. "Twi- *cough*, can you help me out a bit?" Rainbow could walk at a good pace but needed assistance to do so. Rainbow started to cough up blood. "Fuck you Celestia, I hope you rot." Rainbow had her anger boiling up a bit. "Do you hurt when you walk?" Twilight had a concerned look on her face. "No, not all that much. I have a hard time speaking and remembering stuff. "I guess the frontal lobe of your brain is damaged...:" "You're such an egghead..." Rainbow chuckled. Twilight smiled back. This might have been the first time she smiled in a long time. Celestia had been awake for more than 5 days now. Staring at the crumbling state of Equestria. She knew what other ponies thought of her. Selfish, a waste of space, any insults you could think of. She knew that Twilight hated her. She knew everyone did. She felt guilty for every single tear was shed. She couldn't do anything, and for that, hated herself even more. Staring blankly, Celestia trotted over to one of the royal guards protecting the castle. "Let me out. Now." She had to do something. She had to try. //-------------------------------------------------------// Bright Darkness - Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Bright Darkness - Chapter 2 Twilight glanced over her shoulder to realize Rainbow had fallen over. "Are you ok?" Twilight said while helping her up. "Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me so much. If I pass out, just leave me be. You would have a better chance of living anyway." Twilight frowned. "Don't you dare say that Rainbow. I will always be there for you, no matter what. You got that?" "I was just saying. If that ever happens, I want you to know I wouldn't blame you." Rainbow started walking closer to Twilight. "I'm kinda  useless. I mean, my wings are broke, my brain is damaged, nothing else I can really do for you." "Do you hear yourself?! I think that blow did more than just brain damage, it changed you as a whole! What is wrong with you? Of course your important, and you know that!" Twilight began to hyperventilate. She couldn't believe Rainbow was talking like that. Thinking that she's useless and wouldn't care if she would die! Rainbow began to look more serious. "Twilight, I'm not kidding. You know this is true. I may be awesome, but I'll be the first to admit, I'm not that awesome anymore. I'm just a hassle more than anything. Please Twilight, if I ever pass out or something, just leave me." Twilight ignored her and kept walking. Ponyville was bombarded with Luna's soldiers and flushed out everypony. That's when Twilight found Rainbow and escaped. It was clear, but they would still have to stay in a well hidden building, maybe with supplies and hopefully a working water well or some canned food. Twilight stopped. "Get down!" Twilight whispered. "What, what it is it?" Rainbow felt as her heart exploded twice. "Shhh!" A gray looking figure was moving towards Twilight and Rainbow. It seemed to notice the hoof prints they left behind on the trail they were on. Twilight's stomach started to itch from the razor sharp blades of grass. She could barely see out the leaves of the bush they were behind. The gray figure stopped, looked around, and kept coming forward. "What in the name of Celestia are we going to do?" Rainbow whispered as pain from lying down was seeping into her hip. The figure was about another 80 feet away from them. "Fuck!" Twilight's face instantly went pale. She had never said such a word. Twilight frantically looked around and found a heavy looking rock. She levitated it the best she could and waited until the figure came closer. BOOM! The force of the blow shook Twilight enough to make her fall back. A gushing thick red liquid came from the head of the unfamiliar figure. Part of the skull was indented in. Twilight felt instant guilt and depression. She....killed....another pony. This came upon her so quickly she didn't even realize. Rainbow looked up in disbelief. "Twilight... you had to do what you had to do. If you didn't, we would probably be dead. It's ok Twilight. Twilight shook her head. She may have brain damage, but she sure is right. Equestria has fallen since. Survival was indeed important. She wanted to stop Luna somehow, but just didn't really know how. She glanced at the dead body. There. Right on the back leg, a burn mark of the moon. It was a one of Luna's guards. The pony also had traditional armor for Luna as well. Good. At least she can feel a bit less guilty. She still couldn't get over the fact this was a normal pony. She probably wouldn't have done it if she could go back. She knew she wouldn't forgive herself. She also knew that this would have to be a change. They needed to get used to this stuff. It's a dark world, but if she wanted to do something about it, this would have to be an option. She knew what Luna did to them. They weren't real ponies anymore. These were mindless monsters in a state of broken sanity. No way of changing them back. They will kill without command. They were trapped. Twilight shed a tear and Rainbow cuddled up to her. "Twilight, it's ok. You'll be fine." Rainbow could hardly believe how dark this world had become. She bet Twilight felt the same. Celestia had a hard black look in her face. She broke the door to her Castle and stormed her way out. She flew away as fast as she could, straight toward the obvious kingdom for Luna. "You better be sorry, sister." Celestia could feel the water trickling down her cheek. "You better be sorry." //-------------------------------------------------------// You Choose - Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// You Choose - Chapter 3 Celestia hovered over the dark looking castle. She cleared her surroundings, and took deep breaths. "Why did you make me have to do this..." She had realized what she was about to do. There was no other way of stopping this. The countless lives lost, the dramatic deaths of so many innocent chewed at her head. If she were to die now, she would never forgive herself. "Luna!" She yelled with all of her might. "Come out and face me you coward!" As she gently landed, she could see a massive dark figure above her. *BOOM* The sound wave of Luna's landing knocked down a couple of trees. Celestia stood still. "That was a bit quicker than I would have expected from you." Luna clenched. "You think you can have it all, don't you sis?" Luna said with a grin. "You have humiliated me, thought you were the biggest and the baddest of them all. No, no. You decided to let all of your pathetic "citizens" die right in front of your face. For 2 years, you decided it would be best to suddenly come out of your little castle? Such a hypocrite calling me a coward, if I do say myself." Celestia's eyes watered. "Let them go. Now." Celestia levitated her sword out of her pouch. "What's that? You want me to let them go? Why, I'm doing the same thing you do. Ruling. Nothing wrong with that since you made me your personal slave." Celestia couldn't hold it anymore. She had taken enough of this. "Luna, I gave you equal power!" "Don't try to persuade me with your petty lies. You knew I wasn't appreciated. You are selfish. Your "loyal" citizens think so too." Luna's grin grew wider. "I have everything now. Power, wealth, everything. You can go rot. I couldn't give 2 flying fucks about you." Celestia was trying her hardest not to cry. She knew how sweet and kind her sister was, and now knowing she's just a ruthless killing monster felt like dying. "You don't deserve to rule! Your killing innocent ponies! Why would you do this? What is wrong with you Luna? What happened to my little sister?" "Oh please. I only kill when they are no longer needed. I also know that it makes you feel like a complete ass of yourself." Luna's eyes began to grow wider with joy. "You....I..." She couldn't take it. She started bawling as hard as she had ever done in her life. "Go ahead, big sis. Cry it out like the fucker you are." Luna swung her sword. "No!" Celestia cried out. She blocked the first hit and then Luna threw another. Celestia could feel the hot sparks of the blades on her face. Celestia swung her sword to the side of Luna's hip. "Ahh!" Luna felt the blood dripping from her side. "Give up!" Celestia shouted. Luna's grin grew even wider. "You are pointless. Mother and father never cared about you. You're worthless. Trash. Complete waste of time. Everypony hates you. Give up. Even if you did win, you would have nothing left. Give up." Celestia's strength suddenly felt weaker. Celestia could feel aching pain in her whole body. "No....sister....I....lov- SLASH One straight hit across the neck. Blood flooded out of Celestia quicker than a river. Her entire neck was cut open. Parts of the spinal cord were showing. "What a surprise..." Luna said wiping the blood off of her blade. "Disappointment." "This was your choice, after all." Celestia's body lied still. Her eyes instantly went straight to the back of her head. Her sword lied beside her. Luna leaned closer to her dead body. "I love you too, sis." She leaned even closer and kissed her cheek, then licking the blood off her mouth. Luna giggled, and walked off. "Uhh....Twilight?" Rainbow looked at Twilight's ever so sad looking face. "What's wrong?" "I....I can't believe I killed somepony." "Don't worry about it so much. They're aren't real ponies anymore. We know that. Hell, even Pinkie k- umm.....I m-" "What?" Twilight's eyes widened. "Uhh, nothing." Rainbow had forgotten about that. They continued walking down the path, being extra cautious. They hid behind trees or rocks if they could, double checking their surroundings. Up the main path to Ponyville, they took a short cut so they couldn't be seen. They checked if any guards were around. The area seemed clear, so they continued. "So....um....Twilight.....do you think you can fix my head?" "How would I be able to do that? That would require brain surgery, and even then you probably couldn't fix it. Brain damage is very complicated as it binds with too many things." Rainbow's heart dropped. "So you mean that my brain is, like, permanently broken!?" "Probably, but you should be fine, Rainbow. Therapy could probably repair some of you're speaking problems, and problem solving some stuff should help you're learning and memory." Rainbow grunted. They found that Sugar Cube Corner would be the best place. It has an attic, great for hiding, and it had plenty of food supplies with fresh containers of water. They tried opening the door but it was locked. Twilight took a rock and smashed open the window so they could climb in. "Oh thank Celestia there's food..." Twilight said with relief. "I bet we co- .....did you hear that?" "Hear what?" Rainbow was confused. "That, sound....it sounds like crying." sob..... "It sounds like it's coming form the attic." Twilight found the hatch to the attic. They slowly walked up the stairs. "*sob* I don't want to live anymore..." "Pinkie?!?!" Rainbow and Twilight exclaimed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Delightfully So - Chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Delightfully So - Chapter 5 A steady flow of bright red blood stained the wooden floors and seeped through the cracks as Pinkie's body lie still in the silence. No pony had known what Luna had done to anypony at any time. "Wa- bu- ....why did she..." Twilight said as her eyes flushed with water. Her eyes stung in the bitter air as she closed her eyes. Rainbow had said nothing. She just sat there, in the ground with her eyes wide open. Frozen. Her body was stiff and expressing shock and horror. She just kept sitting there. Doing nothing. Twilight soon began to fill her face with anger. Her body felt like in was in flames. "THAT'S IT!" She began. "I'm not going to have another pony die from this!" "This is the last time I see anypony die, suffer, or cry." Her face was bright red, and she felt nothing but confusion, anger and sadness. "Rainbow, let's get out of here. I've always been teaching ponies to read and write. Let's teach who the hell Luna is messing with." Luna gazed upon her left hoof as it was slightly sprinkled with dark red blood. She took in a deep breath, and let the stench of decaying corpses sink into her nostrils. The air was thick and heavy from destroyed villages up in flames. She could feel her ear quiver slightly to the left to adjust to the sound of ponies screaming and killing one another over, anything really. Starvation, supplies, or have just gone completely mad. She could feel her heart pound and drum against her chest with a strong rhythm. She felt the poison sinking even deeper. She never knew it would be this bad. Luna still had bits and pieces of her original self still locked away inside of her decayed and infected brain. Sometimes, she sees flashbacks of her and her sister playing in the backyard in the hot summer, with the horizon glittered with pink clouds. After she killed Celestia, she cries over it randomly all night for no reason. She turns back to her original self in segments, only seconds or even less. She remembers. There is still hope. Twilight crunches leaves and twigs beneath her hooves as she walked steadily into the horizon of what seemed to be a camp where Luna could be staying. "Uh.... Twilight?" Rainbow said with a quiver. "Yea? What is it?" Twilight said in her softest voice. "Thanks for dragging me along back there. If.........if you didn't, I would have been sitting there the rest of my life." Rainbow said as she focused on the sound of crickets in the woods. Rainbow had been awestruck by the fact Pinkie had literally killed herself. The once happy and joyful Pinkie she knew was gone, flown away in the dust storm of past. She was her best friend. Now gone. She had seen many deaths after Luna took over. Past friends, cousins, even family. But she couldn't bear to stand she lost her best friend. She didn't cry about it. She knew that crying over it would just waste time. That may have been the thought that hurt the most. "I'm sorry," Twilight said with a long pause. "I am too." Rainbow said as a single tear fled her cheek, and softly landed on a leaf. The night was cold, and they needed to get a move on. Twilight had no idea how to take on a beast as powerful as Luna, but she knew it wouldn't be easy. Her thoughts ran wild like a pack of tigers chasing prey. Exhausted, emotionally and mentally, she fell next to a pine tree. Rainbow did the same. As her eyes fell into a deep darkness, she cuddled with Rainbow, and let her warmth shoot through her. "Delightfully so," Twilight humbly said to herself. //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dark Void - Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// A Dark Void - Chapter 4 "Pinkie! Oh my god! Am I glad to see that happy....sad....grin...." Rainbow's smile faded. "Uh, Pinkie?" Twilight said in her most comforting voice. Pinkie suddenly stopped crying. Pinkie sat there as still as a rock, not making a single move. Twilight could hear the wood from the attic squeak and crack as she walked closer. "Pinkie, are you ok?" Twilight said as she lightly nudged her shoulder. Pinkie's head slowly turned around. She looked at Twilight with a cold, dead stare. Pinkie's pupils suddenly re-sized into tiny little dots. Her eyes quickly became bloodshot. "Uh, Pinkie, we'll be back. Just don't move." Twilight said as she quickly turned to Rainbow. Twilight and Rainbow walked back down the stairs from the attic and went into the kitchen. The sudden smell of sugar and cupcakes lightened up the mood. "What the hell is up with Pinkie?" Rainbow said as tears went to her eyes. "I hope to sweet Celestia that's not the normal Pinkie now." "I don't know Rainbow. It may just be minor shock of seeing us. I'm not sure. But I do know that we need to make sure that Pinkie hasn't gone crazy or something. I know seeing Pinkie like this is heartbreaking, but I'm not going to worry about it. She's probably fine." "Are you sure we should go back up there?" "Positive." Twilight said with confidence tone in her voice. Twilight opened the hatch to the attic getting the scent of dust and wood. They went up the stairs and slowly walked up to Pinkie. "Pinkie? If you can understand me, please say yes." Twilight said as she walked closer. Pinkie sat still. Rainbow confidently looked Pinkie straight in the eye, putting on her best enthusiastic voice and look on. "Hey Pinkie! Remember me? Rainbow? Rainbow Dash? Your best friend in the entire universe?" Rainbow smiled. A dark silence weighed over them. "Don't you dare think that I can't hear what you're saying." Pinkie said in a dark voice. "Oh, what's wrong with Pinkie, is she ok? Is she crazy? What happened to Pinkie huh?" She said starting to frown even more. "Pinkie- "Don't even say it Twilight. Shut up." Pinkie said with her eyes becoming more tired looking. Her face turned into a dark grin. "What's wrong Pinkie? What happened? Whatever it is you can tell me." Twilight said with a grin. Pinkie looked over and hugged Twilight and Rainbow. "You guys were great friends." Pinkie said as her voice was drowned with sobbing and tears. "It's ok Pinkie." Rainbow said holding a wing over her shoulder. "It is now!" Pinkie walked over to a corner. Pinkie grabbed a knife, and slit her throat.
