King Sombra, the ruler - nay, tyrant - of the Crystal Empire who had cursed it to a banishment of over a thousand years. In the time that Equestria had to question the disappearance, nopony seemed to wonder about his intentions. To the world he was evil, and that suited everypony fine.

My take on Sombra, the king, the tyrant, and how/why he did what he did. He's very open character, and with the way I see it he could have set many more things in motion than the show lets on. Of course, this is all speculation, but what good is fanfiction without it?
