I'm living the brony dream.

Alright, I told a friend his OC was now going to enter the story.Now, I am going to write this on/off first person. Another thing: Instead of Jay, i will just use Faint until they find out his human name. It makes it a little but less confusing in talking scenes. But still, most of it will be from Faint's (Jay's) POV. Chapter 3: A New Pony. Enjoy!

Today was a normal day. It was sunny, bright, and colorful just like usual. Faint was walking down the streets of ponyville. He had his usual vest and goggles on. Faint was also tired from flying with Rainbow Dash yesterday.
She had shown him all her moves, including the sonic rainboom. Then Faint did something that amazed everypony who saw. He had performed his own sonic rainboom, but his wasn't a rainbow. It was more of a blue and black streak. When he broke the sound barrier, there was a shockwave of blue/black. It was truly awesome.
Then, he found out that Fluttershy would take him in, so he would be staying with her until he found a home of his own. He decided to not wear his boots anymore though, until winter. They wouldn't be needed. It had been almost a full day since he 'arrived' in Equestria. While he was walking, a lot of ponies gave him funny looks, but he didn't care.
Today, he was just going to look for some type of job, to earn money. He was about to walk past sugarcube corner when his stomach rumbled.
I guess one cupcake won't hurt. He thought. When Faint walked in he ordered a chocolate cupcake. Fluttershy had given him ten bits, so he could use it for things he needed/wanted. The cupcake was only two bits, so he had not spent a lot and it was worth it! He left sugarcube corner, feeling much better.
He started to walk around and crashed into a galloping pony. They both landed on their haunches. He was a mix of a brown and red coat. His mane and tail were both a lighter, more milk chocolate brown with blue streaks. Faint got up and looked at the pony, who opened his eyes. They were a light grey. He looked to be around seventeen or eighteen years old.
"Oh. Um, sorry about that." He said.
This guy is almost as shy as Fluttershy, Faint thought.
"No, it's okay. I'm Faint." I said as I held out my hoof to him to help him up.
"Hi...I'm... Bass Chord." He said, slowly grabbing my hoof. I pulled him back up. I smiled at him, but he looked nervous.
"So, Bass Chord, what are ya doing in such a rush?"
"N-Nothing really..." He said.
"Don't worry, I'm a friend."
Something is really off about this pony... Could it be? "Hey, I need to talk to you in private." He tried to act casual, but he wasn't very good at it. When they were back inside sugarcube corner, Faint led Bass to a booth, near the corner of the store. Away from everypony else.
"Alright. I have a question. Are you, from earth?" Faint asked, looking at Bass for an answer. Bass looked back at him in astoundment.
"How did you know?"
"Because I'm also from there."
"Oh wow. Cool!" Bass seemed to relax around Faint.
"So what happened?"
"Well," Bass started. "I guess all there is to say really is that I was killed in a car crash accident. I was in the passenger seat of my friends car. We were just driving like normal, and the green light came on. He started to go, and then a truck slammed into the side of his car. I was killed instantly. The only way I know this I because God had told me."
"Wow, sounds sad."
"It isn't all that bad. I did get to come here, of course!" They both laughed.
"What happened to me was this: I was running a parkour course, when it started to rain. I went for a wall run into a wall jump onto the other platform, but i didn't pull it off. I slipped and fell, I don't know, like twenty or thirty feet? I broke all my bones and almost died instantly. I would have lived, but one of my ribs punctured my heart. God also told me this."
"Damn. That sucks." He smiled and I smiled back. He was one of my first friends here in Equestria.
"So, what are you gonna do now?"
"I don't know. I have just been looking for a house. And, Carrot Top. I can't find her anywhere!" He sighed.
"I guess I can help you with that. We could also look for a house."
".....You wouldn't mind staying in the same house? I'm not gay, so I think it would work."
"Me either!" I said and we laughed again.
It seems that Bass Chord is way more relaxed around me, now that we know each-other more.
"So it's settled then? We look for a house, then you help me find Carrot Top."
"Well, it's not that simple. First, we have to find jobs and earn money. Then, we find and buy a house. Lastly, we find Carrot top for you. One note though. I am also looking for a certain girl-pony. Her name is Vinyl Scratch."
"Alright, there is our plan. Phase one: ACTIVATE!" He truck a pose while I just laughed at him.
"C'mon, superman." I pulled him down from the table he stood on and we left the sweet shop. Now to find some jobs.
"Alright, is it okay if i call you Bass?"
"Sure."
"So, Bass, what are you good at?"
"Really, I'm good with music. I do a lot of romantic songs." He kinda blushed.
"Alright. I also like music. I do more of a techno/dubstep rave music." I grinned.
"Ok then. So, we should find something in music?"
"Like a club." I said. His eyes widened, just a little, when he realized what I meant.
"Club Pon-3?"
"With DJ Vinyl Scratch. or, DJ PON-3."
"Alright then. Let's go find it, and apply."
"I hope it works that way. It is a club, after all."
"I have an idea. but....I am too shy to do it myself."
"Tell me on the way there."
"Alright then. Just to let you know, I am shy. I want to perform on stage though. I will need some help." He shyly smiled.
"It's okay. That's what friends are for."

This chapter is split into two parts! Just letting ya know.
