Since Ditzy Doo is a pony, I had to make several changes to my household. "I'm sorry Meat." I lamented as I hid the steaks and ribs in the cellar. I had to buy several horse related foods like barely and carrots and apples… so yeah all the joy in my life is gone.
Also, Derpy is a Pegasus. So I went and stripped my living room (It was the room with the highest ceiling, roughly ten feet or so high.) of it's furniture and put wire on the windows so she wouldn't break them. I then bought several baby supplies, finally ending whatever reserve of cash I had been saving up for a new car.
I didn't rue any of those decisions as I held my baby girl in my arms, her whinnying softly and burrowing her muzzle into my shirt. I was going to be her mother and treat her as such. Maybe one day the gang will come and take her like they did to Dashie in that fanfiction I read several years ago. Maybe not.

I can only hope she can be mine.
