The Doctor and Ditzy had just managed to escape, what was beginning to be called the War for Apploosa, unscathed and un-pied. Ditzy blamed The Doctor for this little trip. He wanted to see how the ponies here lived compared to the ones in Ponyville or Canterlot. At least it wasn’t as bad as the time the Cyberponies attacked the moon, nearly taking control of it from Princess Luna, but still not one of their better adventures. The pair were on their way back to the TARDIS after the buffalo stampeded on their merry way. The Doctor bumped shoulders with Ditzy, she looked at him and his telling smile of love, and smiled back, shyly.
It had been about two months, TARDIS time, since they had started their relationship with a bang on Hearts and Hooves Day. The Doctor had wanted to take it a bit slower, and Ditzy had agreed, but she had still managed to convince him to let her sleep in his bed. She was glad he had finally given in to her request. She hadn’t realized just how alone he was until about three weeks ago, when she was awoken by a sense of heaviness and being overly warm. It hadn’t taken her long to realize the cause, he was holding her tightly against him. They always fell asleep in each others hooves after that, every night The Doctor chose to sleep, at least. He didn’t sleep every night, like other ponies, but he did admit to sleeping more then he would have in his old universe. Something to do with the fact that he was an earth pony and he had earth pony magic, but Ditzy didn’t quite understand it.
“So, my dear, back to the TARDIS for a good nights rest, or would you rather go to another planet and see the stars up close?” The Doctor asked. He knew her answer before he asked the question, but he still liked to hear her respond.
“I think after the day we’ve had, we should try to recharge ourselves. Me, at least. Will you be sleeping tonight?”
“Not sure just yet, but I’ll still lay with you until you fall asleep, like I always do,” he smiled sweetly and nuzzled her, as he felt the heating of his cheeks. Even now, her beauty surprised him, even as tired and worn from the events of the day as she was, and she was his. Ditzy glanced at The Doctor and he realized he’d been staring at her for a moment or two too long.
“What? What’s wrong?” She asked, innocently.
“Nothing, Ditzy. Just... nothing. Oh, hey, what’s that place over there?” He stopped to look at one of the few shops still open this late in the day, called The Salt Block saloon.
“That place? Oh, that’s The Salt Block, where ponies can get salt licks and over-salted food. If you want, we can go and get some,” Ditzy informed him. He seemed confused about something as he took a few steps toward the door.
“The Salt Block? Why would ponies open a place centered around sodium chloride?”
“Well, Doctor, ponies need salt because their bodies don’t produce it naturally. All living things need a little salt for their bodies to work right, so ponies either eat it with their food or by itself. The salt here is said to be imported and purified in a special way, taken straight from the Appleloosan mountain range. I’ve always wanted to try some,” Ditzy said as she watched him continue to walk toward the door with her on his heels. “Did you even hear me, Doctor?”
“Yes, and it’s so fascinating. How is it I have never needed to lick salt before now? What happens if a pony gets too much salt in their diet? Is it harmful? Have you been giving me salt all this time?!” He spoke quickly, clearly still full of energy.
“Well, yes I have. All the food I’ve made has had enough salt for me to be healthy, so I assume it’d work for you too. Sorry for not telling you, but I didn’t think you’d understand to eat salt by yourself. I should have said something sooner, I guess,” Ditzy apologized as they entered the saloon. “Oh, and it’s not harmful if you eat too much salt, but it can make you feel dizzy. Kinda like if you drink too much of the Apple families apple cider.”
“Ah, I see, I see. So salt, while necessary for pony health, also acts in a similar way to alcohol in larger amounts. Amazing! I must have some for myself!” he said as he practically skipped to the nearest open table. The Salt Block seemed pretty busy and, after the fight today, it wasn’t a surprise. The Doctor managed to find an open table off to the side, sat down with Ditzy sitting across from him, and flagged over a waitress. She showed acknowledgment of them, and returned to the table she was waiting on.
“Um, Doctor, I know your excited and all, but let me order, okay? We don’t want to order too much and not have enough to pay or not be able to finish, okay?” Ditzy asked cautiously as she watched the saloon pony walk over, a bit too much sway in her gait.
“Well, howdy their my little ponies. My name is Salty Sweet, and I’ll be serving ya today! What can I get for such a strong, chestnut stallion such as yourself?” The saloon pony introduced herself, but couldn’t take her eyes off The Doctor.
“Um, actually we’ll take-” Ditzy started, a bit of jealousy in her voice, but The Doctor cut her off.
“Well, nice to meet you Ms. Salty Sweet! I think we’ll take three of your best salt licks and two glasses of water! Think that’ll be enough, Ms. Ditzy?”
“Um, three might be a bit much, but if we share them..” Ditzy, her jealousy put aside, answered The Doctor. Three salt licks! He didn’t realize what he was asking for.
“So three salt licks and two glasses of water, coming right up!” Salty Sweet sauntered herself into the back of the saloon, her tail swishing a few stallion’s cheeks along the way. Ditzy couldn’t help but glare as she watched the pony leave. Once the mare was out of sight, Ditzy turned to The Doctor.
“Doctor, you really should have let me order, you don’t know what your doing. You could get really sick from that much salt if your not careful,” Ditzy cautioned.
“Oh nonsense, my dear Ditzy, I’m a Timelord, remember? Not a normal pony, so everything should be fine! Besides, I thought you said we’d share, hmm?” He waggled his eyebrows at her, smiling and causing Ditzy to blush. It wasn’t long, enough, before Salty Sweet returned with their order.
“If you need anything else, be sure to flag me down, y’hear?” She winked at The Doctor and swished her way back through the tables, checking on another group of ponies. Ditzy ignored her and grabbed a salt lick.
“Now, take it easy, okay? This stuff can go to your head pretty easily. It even smells a bit strong,” Ditzy noted as she gave her’s a sniff and test lick. It was a very nice flavor, hints of other minerals as well as the heavy taste of salt.
“Yes, of course. Hmm, sodium most prevalent, obviously, but there is also traces of zinc, magnesium, sulfur and even calcium. Hmmm, interesting, seems a mish mash of many minerals, must be extra healthy!” The Doctor analyzed, excitedly, taking several licks quickly.
“D-Doctor, please, slow down. I know it’s good, but maybe get a drink after a few tastes.”
“Oh, I’ll be fine and I feel healthier already! I think I’ll be done mine sooner then you’ll be done yours!”
“Doctor, this isn’t a race. We don’t have to rush, so we can just take our time and-”
“Oh, you’re no fun, now are you? Come on, let’s try this, for fun! Ready?” The Doctor began.
“Well, I’m not sure if I believe you, but if you wanna race, I’ll win. I can handle my salt pretty well, better then you I bet!” Ditzy liked the challenge.
“Oh-ho! Ms. Ditzy Doo, ready to throw her hooves in the ring, I love it! Get set... Go!” They both quickly set to work on their salt, taking sips of water when they needed to. Ditzy watched The Doctor as he even started to nip his salt, but she wasn’t going to let him win that way! It ended up being a tie, even after the Doctor cheated, and she was about to call him out when she started to feel odd. She should have known better then to eat salt that fast, but with The Doctor you take risks you normally wouldn’t.
“Doctor, I think that’s enough for now. We can pay and take the rest back to the TARDIS, okay?” Ditzy wasn’t slurring yet, but it wouldn’t be long. She was afraid even now to try to walk before she finished her water.
“Oh, are you done already Ms. Ditzy? Didn’t expect, after all your bragging, that you’d tap out so quickly! I’m going to stay here and finish this last bit, you have your key so you head back. Will you be alright, or do you need a hoof?” He didn’t seem fazed at all by the salt, it shocked her.
“I-I think I’m alright enough to walk, not fly thought. Just don’t stay out too long, okay? I’ll see you in bed and don’t let that flaunting filly get a hold of my Doctor, okay?” Ditzy stood carefully. The room stayed where it should, so she knew she wasn’t too badly salted up.
“Rightio, Ditzy! See you there!” The Doctor proclaimed loudly as he pulled the last lick toward him. The level of his voice was loud, even over the dim in the saloon, but her brain couldn’t process anything more right now then being able to get back into the TARDIS without falling over herself. She managed to make it out of the Salt Block without falling on her face, but nearly got run over three times, and fell once, before getting inside the TARDIS. Ditzy shut the door, walked to the kitchen and got a glass of water. She drank half of it before even leaving the sink, Ditzy was starting to feel a little better. She should be okay in the morning, not too much of a headache.
Ditzy finished the glass, placed it in the sink and headed toward their bedroom. She was surprised she didn’t stumble as much as she would have expected, but drinking water was supposed to help when you had too much salt. As she slid open the door to the bedroom she eyed the bed. It looked so nicely made in the special way The Doctor made it, that she almost felt bad about messing it up. But not too bad as she pulled the covers down and flopped onto it, feeling the soft mattress taking her weight off her tired hooves. They had done a lot of running today, and the salt was making her even more sluggish then she should have been. It wasn’t long before she drifted into a deep sleep.
Ditzy didn’t usually dream, at least that she remembered, but this would be a dream she would remember for a while. The Doctor had taken her to some place full of wild flowers, but Ditzy wasn’t sure if it was a new planet or just some field in Equestria, nor did she care. They laughed and chased each other playfully through them, until Ditzy tripped over a rock and fell down. The Doctor made his way quickly over to her, worry etched on his features. She hated seeing him like this, so despite the pain on her hoof, she smiled up at him. His worry changed to relief and then something a little darker. She was just about to ask him what was wrong until he knelt down in front of her rump and spread her hind legs. She blushed hotly, looked around to make sure they were alone until all attention was drawn back to him.
He began rubbing his hoof against her slit, causing Ditzy to moan appreciatively. He slid his tongue along the inner part of her thighs as his hoof continued to rub her. He stopped for only a second to shift himself into a more comfortable sideways position, before returning to touching Ditzy. She watched for as long as she could, panting and blushing, until he started to lick her lower lips and clit. Ditzy threw her head back, moaning loudly as the sensation sent chills through out her body. She managed to glance down at him after a little while, only with one eye though, and saw him rubbing himself in time to his licks. The sight made her blush hotter, if that was even possible, as she watched his hoof stroke up and down. Suddenly, all the flowers started to fade, and it was only him, licking her and rubbing himself. Without warning, he vanished and Ditzy woke up in bed to a loud noise by the bed, her eyes springing open guiltily.
The Doctor had bumped into the bedside table, knocking over his glass of water he had gotten from the kitchen. He looked completely wasted on salt, and Ditzy was both angry and worried at one time. Angry he had been out so late, as the clock showed 2:30 am, worried because she didn’t want him to be ill in the morning.
“Doctor! What are you doing? Did you just get back?!” She really shouldn’t be so hard on him, but she was also upset that he had ruined her nice dream. They’d only made love a few times since the Hearts and Hooves Day incident, and not at all in the past two weeks.
“Well, maybe, why? Did you not want me to come back? I know its a little later then I said, but I swear I didn’t have more then 4 salt licks, total,” He wasn’t slurring, which was a miracle considering how much salt he had.
“Four!? Doctor! I guess I can’t leave you alone for even a minute, can I?” She was shocked he was still standing!
“Well, seems like I can’t leave you alone either, hmm?” The Doctor motioned toward the bed, where it was a little wet from her dream. She blushed hotly, getting madder at the fact that he managed to point it out, while nearly falling over in the process. “Would you like me to take care of it, my dear? I don’t mind at all,” He spoke the words sensually despite his intoxication. He crawled into bed next to her and began kissing up her neck.
“But what about the broken glass?” She tried to think past the hormones already rushing through her body, The Doctor making them worse.
“Oh, I’ll get it later, promise. Right now I want you, my dear, it’s been too long,” he said between kisses. When The Doctor reached her jawline, he nipped playfully, causing a low moan to come from Ditzy. He moved up to her ear, pulling it more roughly then he usually would, sending delicious shivers throughout Ditzy’s body. She wrapped her fore legs around the Doctor’s neck, pulling him closer and feeling his stallionhood poke her stomach. She reached her hoof down and began stroking it, causing a moan and a harder nip on her ear from The Doctor. He licked the inner contours of Ditzy’s ears, breathing heavily into them as she continued to rub his quickly hardening stallionhood. The Doctor finally let go of Ditzy’s ear to lay back on the bed, panting loudly, unable to hold himself up any longer. Ditzy saw it as a sign of her doing a good job, so she continued, until he stopped her.
“Doctor, am I doing it wrong?” She asked, a little worried.
“Not at all, Ditzy, I just don’t want to go without you. Come up here, I’ll teach you something new,” his breathing was heavy while he spoke. Ditzy moved closer to him, extremely curious what he wanted to show her. “Sit on top of me.”
“What?!” Ditzy cried, blushing hotly again.
“The room is spinning too much and I can’t stand at the moment. Sit on me, I’ll help,” he spoke sternly to Ditzy. She nodded in understanding and stood to position herself over his quivering erection. They had never done this before, and she was nervous, but The Doctor seemed like he knew what he was talking about as he put a hoof at her hip and one holding himself. When he started to push her down onto him, Ditzy swallowed hard and followed him. As the tip entered inside her, The Doctor groaned, closing his eyes, pushing her in a little further. Slowly Ditzy went lower and lower, The Doctor filling her more and more until he was fully inside. Both ponies were breathing heavy, she had never felt so full before, while he had never felt so good, the salt intensifying the feeling.
“Now, I move?” Ditzy asked.
“At your own pace, yes,” he was having trouble forming words at the moment, whether due to the salt or Ditzy, he couldn’t be sure. All thoughts left her mind as she started to move, slowly, getting used to the new feeling of him being so deep inside her. She started with up and down, simple movements, watching The Doctor throw his head back with a loud moan. Ditzy had to admit that, while this position was a bit off for her, she liked it a lot. With a little effort, she started to move faster, even adding a bit of forward movement too. This was an entirely new pleasure for Ditzy as he hit spots inside her she hadn’t known were there. It seemed the same for The Doctor as he cried out, “Y-yes, Ditzy! Aaah, oh yes, my dear, sweet Ditzy! Oh Celestia, that’s wonderful!”
“D-Doctor! Aaaaahh-yes... Oh, my Doctor!” He had never swore during their sessions, so Ditzy must have been doing something right. It wasn’t long before she felt the building tingle in her lower body. Ditzy didn’t seem to be the only one close to climax either, as The Doctor began to meet her downward thrusts with upward ones, only making both feel better for it. Ditzy gave a few more hard thrusts as the climax crashed over her, clearing her mind of any other thoughts then pleasure and The Doctor. Her climax sent The Doctor over the edge, bucking up into her as he emptied himself into her. The warmth of The Doctor caused Ditzy’s climax to end in a warm, wet feeling as all her energy left her and she fell on top of The Doctor, both breathing heavily in shallow pants.
“Ditzy... That was wonderful,” The Doctor said, wrapping her in his hooves, holding her close.
“Yes, it was, Doctor. Wonderful,” Ditzy agreed, feeling tired enough to fall asleep right there. Using what reserves he had left, The Doctor pulled out of his very special somepony while pulling the covers over them. Neither cared about anything else at the moment but each other, and both slept well while in each others hooves all night long.
The Doctor woke up at 5 in the morning with the worst hang over he’d ever had. He wasn’t feeling ill prese, but he was thirsty. He moved carefully, praying to Luna to keep Ditzy asleep, as he got out of bed and went to his bathroom, stepping over the broken glass in the process. He made a mental note to clean it up once he had gotten a drink as he turned on the bathroom light and got a fresh glass he always kept in there. After filling it from the tap, he began drinking. He was on his fifth glass of water before the urge to relieve himself came. As he walked around to the toilet he heard Ditzy stir from bed.
“Doctor?” She called, sleepily. He went to answer, but realized he was not in the best of positions and decided against it. He would find that his choice was not the smartest move, as he heard her hooves moving toward the bathroom. He tried to warn her, but it was too late. Ditzy walked in the bathroom, looked around, she saw him along with HIM, and blushed. The Doctor was red as well, quickly realizing why she was in here; she had to go too. While she turned away from the sight, he swallowed hard and tried to play cool.
“H-Hello Ditzy, why are you up so early?”
“I have a moving job this morning, and all that salt made me have to-um... that,” she motioned awkwardly without looking at him.
“I-I’ll be done soon...I hope,” he mumbled the last part, as he was still going.
“I tried to warn you, Doctor. Salt makes you dizzy and drink more. The more you drink the more you have to-um-pee. I have to get ready, so I’ll just go back to my room and go there, okay? S-Sorry for disturbing you,” she glanced at him quickly, smiled shyly and left. The Doctor felt like his duel hearts might stop right then and he’d die. How would he ever be able to get over such embarrassment until he realized, he could make her forget about it in a very nice way. Tonight he would do something for Ditzy that she would never forget, for he remembered everything that had happened the night before. The Salt, while intoxicating him, had also enhanced every sound, sight, and sensation! If he could return the favor to his dear Ditzy, then tonight would absolutely be one of the most “interesting” nights they had ever experienced!
