An experimental work, using a stunted, oversimplified prose that I had used once several years ago. This time it's more of an hypothesis about condensing context and reducing subtext and qualifying verbiage, the idea being to deliberately set a basic idea and let the imagination fill in the blanks.

Or maybe just make a funny and dumb guy laugh. It's an experiment, it's not up to me what you get out of it.

Twilight Not Find Book

Not Find

Twilight look. Look for book. Not find. Twilight not find book.

"Where book?" Twilight ask. Nopony there. Twilight go Spike room. "Spike! Where book?" Twilight ask.

Spike look at Twilight. "What book?" Spike ask.

Twilight make noise. "Ugh, book. Magic book, Spike. Not find."

Spike scratch head. Spike look library. Not find book. "Twilight, not find book," Spike say.

Twilight not like. Book find? How find? Twilight ask Spike, "Where you put? You put book?"

Spike scratch again, not put book. "I put book? When put?" Spike ask.

"Four month? Not know, busy when put book. Now not find," Twilight say. Twilight think more. More think and still not know.

Spike look up. Spike see ribbon. Ribbon yellow. "Yellow ribbon?" Spike ask. Spike think, book ribbon? Remember ribbon, maybe book. Still not know, more better know maybe ribbon.

"Ribbon?" Twilight ask. "Book have ribbon!" Twilight remember. Twilight remember ribbon, in book. Take ribbon out, use later. Ribbon not put. Ribbon only put book when library book. More remember. "Maybe lend book?"

Spike say, "Remember! Rarity have book? Rarity want magic, book magic! You give book!"

Twilight smile. "Yes! I get book! I go Rarity! Go, Spike?"

Spike shrug. "Fine, go Rarity, get book. Maybe lunch," Spike say.

Twilight feel belly. Belly noise. Twilight say, "yes lunch. First, Rarity. Get book, then food. Day better!"
