The Blind Date

Fluttershy woke from her bed with a small, quiet yawn, she sat up and stretched, Angel was huddled in a small ball, just under Fluttershy's pillow. Angel slowly lifted his head, lazily watching Fluttershy get up and walk out the door to the stairs, Angel's ears then pricked up, now remembering is was morning, he ran down the stairs just passing Fluttershy. "Well aren't you hungry?" Fluttershy smiled as she turned into the kitchen. She grabbed an empty bowl and placed three carrots into a bowl and placed it on the floor in front of Angel, she then heard a knock on the door.

Rainbow Dash then burst through the door, followed by Rarity, Twilight, Pinkie Pie and Apple Jack."Hey Fluttershy." Rainbow jumped on the coach and rested her feet on the coffee table, turning her head to Fluttershy. Rarity walked through the door and gasped. "Fluttershy! Your still in your night gown?" Fluttershy looked down to then remember she was still wear her yellow and light green night attire, she gasped and quickly pulled down the end of her night gown over her knees and blushed. "I-I ah um..." Pinkie giggled at Fluttershy's  nervousness. "Well hurry up, we don't got all day!" Apple Jack rolled her eyes and she crossed her arms and leaned against the wall. Fluttershy blushed even more then ran up stairs and slammed the door.

"So um, not to be rude but where are we going?" Fluttershy asked shyly as she shut the door to her cottage. "I just thought it would be nice if we all went out on a girls day." Twilight replied. "But it's 9:30." Rainbow Dash said with a confused look. "Details, details, it's the thought that counts." Rarity objected. The girls walked through Ponyville talking and gossiping, Fluttershy just walked next to Rainbow Dash and said nothing, smiling once or twice when Pinkie would tell a joke.

They reached the café and sat down at one of the outside tables. "So what will you ladies be ordering?" The waiter asked with a handsome smile, Rarity blushed. "I'll have one apple fritter please." Rarity fluttered her eyelashes and the waiter blushed. "I'll have one hay sandwich." A.J placed down the menu. "Ooo this looks yum, NO this. This looks so good, or maybe-" Pinkie Pie was interrupted by Apple Jack's hoof pressed against her mouth. "She'll get some chocolate cake." "And me and Rainbow Dash will get a apple turnover." Just before the waiter was about to leave he was stopped by a small sweet whisper, her turned to Fluttershy. "Oh I'm sorry I just..." "What?" The waiter stepped forward. "Oh if it's no bother could get a hay sandwich as well?" Fluttershy's voice softened and she started to blush. "I'm really sorry mam but what did you say?" Fluttershy's face turned bright red. "I...um want ah...-" "Uh, see'll have a hay sandwich." Apple Jack interrupted smiling.
