From a gang banger to an Equestrian Games gold medal athlete. Flash Sentry had a difficult life that turned for the better. Until one faithful night while returning to Detrot. Strange weather patterns and cosmic phenomena wreck havoc on Equestria. It is then that an evil tyrant named King Sombra declares war on the planet Equiis. Flash and Twilight Sparkle are brought into a war against an entire crystal planet, called Cyrstalline. Now they must help defeat King Sombra and bring freedom to the crystal ponies.

This takes place before Scootaloo even becomes Captain Equestria or before P.I. JOE is formed. This is based off of the 1980 Flash Gordon movie.
